006. Return Everything

Cyan’s footsteps suddenly came to an abrupt halt.

Slowly, he turned back to look at Stella.

“What do you want from me now?” he asked coldly.

Instead of answering immediately, Stella stepped down from the stage and walked toward him with blazing fury in her eyes. The sharp sound of her heels echoed through the silent banquet hall until she finally stopped right in front of him.

When she got closer to where Cyan was standing, she pointed her fingers at his face.

“So after everything I did for you, you think you can just walk away like that, huh?”

Cyan frowned in confusion. “What exactly do you mean by that?”

“For the past three years of our marriage, Cyan,” Stella began arrogantly, “I provided everything you needed. I paid for your food, your shelter, your transportation, your pocket money, and practically every single thing about your miserable life… including your clothes.”

Cyan merely shrugged casually, as though her words meant nothing but Stella wasn't done.

“You enjoyed all of that comfortably,” she continued mockingly, “and now you think you can simply walk out of this marriage as if nothing happened? No way, Cyan.”

She scoffed loudly. “You came into this marriage empty-handed, so if you want to leave this marriage then you will also be leaving empty-handed!”

Cyan blinked repeatedly, clearly confused.

“What exactly do you mean by that?” he asked again.

Stella crossed her arms and smirked coldly.

“What I mean is simple,” she replied. “Before you step a single foot out of this house—or rather, out of this marriage—you are going to return every single thing I ever bought for you.”

She suddenly paused as her eyes landed on the phone in Cyan’s hand.

Pointing at it sharply, she said, “That phone you’re holding? I bought it for you.”

Then her gaze shifted to his finger.

“And that ring on your hand was our wedding ring. I paid for that too.”

“And those shoes?” Her eyes traveled downward. “I bought them for you in three different colors. You seriously think you’re leaving this marriage with things I spent my money on? No way!"

After hearing her words, Cyan slowly nodded.

Alright. If giving back those things was what Stella wanted, then fine. He would do it.

After all, she truly had bought them for him. If she wanted them back so badly, he would gladly return every one of them.

Without hesitation, Cyan pulled the ring off his finger and tossed it toward Stella.

Then he stretched out the phone in his hand, and Brittney immediately stepped forward to collect it.

Right after that, Cyan removed his shoes and kicked them aside without the slightest care.

When he was done, he looked directly at Stella.

“These are the things you bought for me, Stella,” he said calmly. “Happy now?”

But Stella slowly shook her head.

“No, Cyan, I’m not happy.”

Cyan frowned.

“I said I wanted everything I bought for you,” Stella continued. “Yet you only returned those few things? Seriously?”

Then her eyes locked onto the clothes he was wearing.

“What about those clothes?” she asked with a cruel smile. “The outfit you’re wearing right now was a gift I gave you during our very first date. So go on, Cyan. I want them back too. Take them off and hand them over to me.”

Cyan’s fists tightened in anger, as his nails dug into his palms.

At that moment, he wished he could do something—anything—but what choice did he really have?

Stella was technically right. She had bought those clothes for him. If she wanted them back so badly, then fine… he would return them too.

“Go on, Cyan. Don’t waste our time!” Judy mocked from where she stood, laughing together with Stella.

Ignoring their ridicule, Cyan slowly began taking off the clothes.

First, he removed the shirt. Then, without hesitation, he pulled off the trousers as well.

When he was done, Cyan was only putting on his undies shorts and singlet.

Staring angrily at Stella, Cyan said. “Just pray you never regret all this, Stella, Because I swear… you will regret it someday.”

After saying that, Cyan turned around to leave.

But just before he could take a single step forward, Stella suddenly grabbed his arm and yanked him back.

“There’s still one last thing left for you to do before you leave,” she said coldly.

Cyan turned to face her again.

“You’ve returned almost everything I bought for you. Everything except one last thing.” Stella added.

“And what is that?”

“Your undershirt and boxers,” she replied without hesitation. “I bought those for you too.”

The atmosphere in the banquet hall instantly became tense.

“On our first wedding anniversary, I bought those boxers for you. And last June, I bought the singlet as well.. So if you’re really leaving this marriage today, then you’ll leave with absolutely nothing.”

Her voice turned sharper and colder.

“That means you walk out of here completely NAKED.. So go on, Cyan. Hand them over too… and then leave my life forever.”

He couldn't understand how she could even ask such a question after everything that had happened.Angrily, he stared at Stella, his mind filled with resentment.“It's all because of you that all of this is happening. If you hadn't shoved yourself into this and involved me in kneeling before this loser, none of this would be happening!” he cursed silently in his mind, his anger continuing to build as Stella held onto him.“Did you say something, my love?” Stella asked.Felix immediately shook his head.“No... no, my love.
