7.

The lounge went quiet as Finn Rowe stood next to Mr. Galton. The crowd, who'd been laughing at him, now just stared, confused. Darius, red-faced, pushed forward, unable to hold back. Why are you siding with this nobody? he yelled at Mr. Galton, while sneering at Finn.

Finn glanced at him, his eyes calm. Get them out of here and cancel any deals with them, now, he told Mr. Galton, his voice firm.

The room went silent. Darius blinked, surprised that Mr. Galton seemed ready to listen. What? Are you serious? he shouted, his voice getting louder. You can't do this for a fool like him. He's nothing. Why are you listening to him?

Mr. Galton didn't react. He looked at Finn, then nodded to the guards. As you wish, he said. Right away, Darius and the others were being taken out, complaining the whole time. Finn didn't even blink. He stayed cool, his eyes steady.

As they were dragged away, Darius kept yelling insults, calling him a nobody who had no right to give orders. Elara, next to him, rolled her eyes. Is this what you came back for? she asked. To beg for forgiveness? To crawl back and pretend you're important?

Finn smiled a little, his voice steady but sharp. I don't want your apologies, he said. If you want to keep working with Mr. Galton, you'll pay my severance as Elara's ex.

Elara laughed. Severance? she asked with a snide tone. Since you can't live without us, you're begging for forgiveness *and* want money?

Finn's eyes sparkled. I have the advantage, he said firmly. If you want to keep the deal with Mr. Galton, it’s simple. Pay up, or leave. That’s it.

Darius was furious. This is insane! He only came back for cash. He'll keep coming back for cash. He should be on his knees, begging! This is ridiculous!

Finn looked at him, calmly. You won't get any apologies here, he said. I'm not coming back to you. The severance is one hundred million dollars. Pay it, and you can continue. If not, get out and don't come back.

The room filled with whispers. People couldn't believe Finn Rowe's nerve and power. Even Mr. Galton seemed to back him up. Elara's hand shook a little as she grabbed her phone. Fine, she said, her voice sharp. I'll send the money. Just tell me how much.

Finn smiled, a hint of satisfaction. It's one hundred million dollars, he said clearly. Once I see it, I'm out of here, and you can get back to business. But remember, this is a severance. I'm not coming back.

Darius scoffed, still mad. Gold digger! he snapped. You have no shame. You'll never stop trying to get money.

Finn's eyes gleamed. Money's in, he said, checking his phone. I'm leaving.

He turned to Mr. Galton, who nodded respectfully. Finn walked past the shocked crowd. The whispers got louder as people wondered who he was. Who is he? they muttered. How can Mr. Galton listen to him?

Elara, her family, and Adrian watched him go, speechless. They'd made fun of him, but now they were helpless. They realized that Finn Rowe, the guy they thought was nothing, had earned the respect of someone as powerful as Mr. Galton, and it blew their minds.

Inside the hotel, Mr. Galton took Finn to a private, fancy room. Finn sat down, taking a breath and thinking about what just happened.

This was a two-for-one, Finn said quietly. I made sure they respect me, and I started the first test.

Mr. Galton nodded, watching him closely. You're ambitious, Finn Rowe. You're right to be confident. But remember, the tests are just beginning. Your eyes see more than you know. Use them carefully.

Finn moved his fingers, and the ring on his wrist gleamed. His eyes showed a hint of power, reminding him that it was growing inside him. He could sense more than before—the room, the people, the energy—but he still had to figure out everything they could do.

I understand, he said. This is just the start. I have a lot to do and learn. But today, I proved that I won't be ignored. I'm not weak anymore. I've taken the first step, and nobody will stop me.

Mr. Galton smiled a little. Good. The road ahead is dangerous, Finn Rowe. Many will try to trip you up, underestimate you, and stop you. But the tests are there to get you ready for the power you'll have. You've started well, but it's a long way.

Finn leaned back, looking determined. He'd faced insults and betrayal. He'd been called a nobody. But now, with the ring, Mr. Galton's respect, and his eyes showing new power, he felt unstoppable.

This is just the first move, he said to himself. The first of many. And I will win. Everything will go my way.

The room went quiet, and it was clear that Finn Rowe was no longer powerless. He'd started to take his place in a world that had laughed at him, and nothing would keep him from his destiny. The tests were waiting, and with them, the chance to get power, influence, and rewards beyond belief.

Finn's mind started planning his next steps. His eyes showed just a hint of power, reminding him that there was more to come. He smiled, knowing he'd already started to change things. Today, he'd turned the tables. Soon, the world would follow his lead.
