The mobile in Gabe’s hand dropped.

Mia’s heart skipped a beat. She quickly picked up the mobile, but Gabe still looked frozen. He couldn’t believe that Mia had actually asked him to marry her. The woman who always looked beautiful in his eyes even without makeup just asked him if he would marry her. He thought this was a dream. It was too surreal for him, after all.

“Gabe,” Mia hesitantly said, “will you be husband for a while?”

Gabe’s expression slightly changed. “F-For a while? W-What do you mean?” He couldn’t get his head around that phrase. Was the happiness swelling in his just a short-living thing like the froth of boiling milk?

“C-Can we talk privately in the park?” she asked.

“N-No, let’s talk here,” he shut the main door.

Mia right now didn’t mind what neighbors would think. She sat down on the second-hand chair. He sat next to her in another chair.

“Gabe, you worked for a day in my house, so you somewhat know how my family members behave,” Mia said, locking her hands togethe

The capital city of Elderwood was called the Star City not because it was the closest to the stars in the sky but because the city itself was bright as a star in the sky.“I had a feeling that the description of the capital city being as bright as a star was an exaggeration,” Rudi was looking in every direction. “And I was correct. The writers always tend to blow things out of proportion.”The streets of the city were certainly bright with flowers glowing, and even the water streams reflecting light and dazzled as a result.“It’s definitely not brighter than a star,” Rudi uttered, “but it’s definitely far more beautiful than they described!”“You weren’t brought here for sightseeing,” the vice-guard captain coldly glared at her. He was carrying the bodies of Red and Blue Ogres on the horses behind him, so he attracted a lot of attention from the crowd. They were all shocked to see the corpses of Red and Blue Ogres and wondered how they died and what happened to the prince because they

Soreness gripped every muscle in the body.Sharp pain stung at numerous spots, too many to count.Gabe was too tired to move, but his body was shaking as the big white bear walked without a care in the world. His body hurt all the more thanks to the free ride to the capital on the back of a bear.Gabe tried to lift his head.Rudi looked at him. “You’re still breathing? You’re a tough guy. I thought you died.”Gabe lifted his head with effort. The muscles in the back of his neck and the trapezius muscle hurt quite a bit. “Where are we?” Just speaking a few words was proving difficult. Blood was pooling in his mouth, slurring his speech and hindering his breath.“110th realm. We’ll soon reach the capital. This will be it for us. We won’t be able to escape from there.”“Don’t give up,” Gabe said.Rudi glanced at him. “Why were you with my grandma? Did she hire you?”“Something like that.”Rudi went silent. She kept staring at him. (The injuries he had must have killed most people, but he

Gabe and Rudi were both put in the same cage atop the same white bear, though it was a new cage.Gabe was covered in bad bruises and his own blood. His bones were broken at many places because he had fought Gregg once more.Horgror intervened and gave Gabe the fist treatment. As a result, Gabe was barely conscious.Rudi was grinding her teeth, trying to break free from the chains. “You guys are so shameless! How can you do this to us! God will not forgive you!”“What was God doing when the prince broke your ankles?” Andal asked. “Was he busy farting in his bathroom? Was he sleeping when your grandmother was being beaten?”Miguel was also there, but he was not conscious.Horgror picked him up and said, “I’m leaving. You can take care of this from here on, can’t you?”“Yeah, leave it to me,” Andal told him.As Horgror took Miguel away, Synatra still looked conflicted.“The sooner you forget about him, the better it is for you, Sister,” Andal told her. “You are going to marry someone ver

“They are looking to put the whole blame on us! If we don’t escape now, our necks will be put under the guillotine in the capital city! And we’ll die as the worst criminals in history!”Gabe jumped and thrust his foot at Gregg’s face.Gregg moved his head out of the way. “You move quite well despite carrying a person on your shoulder.”Gabe landed on Gregg’s back and released lightning onto his feet and dashed toward the edge of the realm as fast as feet allowed.Because of his boots, a burning trail was left, which hurt the Greenlit family guards that tried to chase after him.“You’ve got some neat little tricks, too, but you’re still very much in my range,” Gregg turned around and swung his sword vertically.A cutting energy sliced through the ground and air and reached all the way over to Gabe and then went on to the edge of the realm and beyond. If Gabe hadn’t moved out of the way, he might have been severely injured or wound up dead. The Greenlit family guards jumped on him from

A few seconds earlier. Most of the royal guards fought the men whom Horgror had brought with him.Blue and Red Ogres were fighting the Beasteater. They were not worried about their prince as Miguel was strong, and he was also guarded by the Swanmere family members. There was also the Aqua Knight, too.Andal rushed out of the villa and joined the prince. “Why the hell did Horgror return? What does he want?”“He’s after our heads, Brother!” Synatra blurted.“Damn, he’s so persistent!” Andal growled. “He dares to attack us even when we have Sir Gregg with us.”“The Ogres will be enough to take care of him,” Miguel confidently said. “I will put the Beasteater’s head on a spike and then gift it to my father. I’m sure he’ll be impressed.”Andal stepped behind the prince and silently sheathed his sword and thrust it without a shred of hesitation. The sword ripped through Miguel’s gut and came out from the front. Blood poured out of his mouth.Shock filled Miguel’s eyes.“Your Grace!” Blue an

Miguel dressed up quickly and rushed downstairs.Andal and Aqua Knight were waiting in the hall.Blue Ogre and Red Ogre were also there.“Gregg?” Miguel frowned. “What are you doing here? Weren’t you exiled to Lowwood?”“I was, Your Grace, but…” Gregg looked at Andal.“We quashed the rebellion and were returning home, Your Grace,” Andal explained. “But on our way, we were attacked by Horgror.”“The Beasteater?” Blue and Red Ogres were startled.“If it wasn’t for Sir Gregg, we would have been in great trouble,” Andal said. “In light of his actions, I thought it might be possible to have his sins pardoned and have him reinstated as a high knight.”Elderwood was divided into three zones: Lowwood, Midwood, and Highwood.Lowwood contained realms from the ground level to the 49th realm.Midwood contained realms from the 50th realm to the 89th realm.Highwood contained realms from the 90th to the 110th realm.Lowwood was ruled by the Swanmere family.Midwood was ruled by three of the seven g
