CHAPTER 90

It was a loud slap, and so everybody in the store heard it.

“Shane, you didn’t have to hit him,” Roxy voiced her mind. “I’m sorry, Mister.” She even apologized to the guard.

“Roxy, why are you apologizing to this trash?” Shane blurted before snatching the two pairs of clothes in the guard’s hand. “I feel like I should wash these clothes five times before I can wear them because ‘he’ touched them.”

His words made the guard lower his head in shame.

The manager hurriedly entered the scene and scolded the guard for leaving his position and then told him to leave. After the guard left in dejection, the manager smiled at Shane, “Welcome to our store, Mr. Shane. How is your daddy doing?”

“He’s doing great as always,” Shane said, throwing the clothes in the manager’s face. “Pack them.” Saying that, he began to explore the store with Roxy.

Roxy was the second ranker back in school. Shane always had a crush on her, so coming to shop with her was a surreal moment for him. He tried to please her
