" You are the most arrogant and most stupid man I have ever come in contact with. I should have seen this coming." Seraphina said angrily.
Kael said nothing but simply laughed. " You honestly think I would stoop so low to sleep with someone like you?" he asked The room went quiet at his word. Kael's words even made Seraphina more pissed. " You can talk all you want but you would never be above me. You are some gigolo who is looking for someone to rip off. It is only a matter of time before you come asking for some cash." Kael laughed. This time it was humourless. " If only you knew who I really am." he said with a stern gaze. " I don't care who you are, I don't care where you are from! GET OUT!" Seraphina barked, pointing her hands towards the door. " But this is my room. I got this place." Kael said gently. "Did I stutter? Or did you not hear me?! Get the fuck out of here!" she yelled again "Alright... alright. You don't need to yell." Kael said a bit worked up. He walked towards the table, grabbed his wallet and wristbands and was soon on his way out of the room. The moment he stepped into the hallway, men were visibly seen standing firm on both sides. Each of them bowed as he walked past them. Kael murmured to himself, checking his watch again. " What the hell is this? I came here to meet my fiancé and..." Kael paused running his hand through his hair as he walked into the elevator. The elevator made a ding sound taking him down to the lower level. " You are here, young master!" A man in his late forties rushed forwards towards Kael. Kael's eyes darted back and forth. He could see some of the people staring at him wondering why a man who was dressed commonly was being addressed as Master. Kael said nothing but simply walked away from prying eyes toward an extreme corner. " Do you know why I go out dressing this way, Dennis?" he asked Dennis shakes his head slightly. " I am sorry, Young Master. I should have been more discreet." he said apologetic. " I only wished to serve you." With that, Dennis snapped his fingers and the men immediately dispersed. " I don't want my cover blown, Dennis. I am a nobody and I will like to remain as such." Kael said with a stern gaze. Dennis gulped real hard. He still don't understand why a man who could give life to the dead would like to stay hidden from the world. A part of him wanted to ask but he knew asking Kael questions was going to get him more riled up than usual. " Since you don't want to be acknowledged sir, then can I at least make you comfortable?" Dennis asked Kael said nothing but simply walked why Dennis followed like a loyal dog. " I have gotten the rare master card, Young master." he said again. Kael stopped abruptly. He gave Dennis a hot look, " And how many time do you want me to tell you to stop calling me that when we are in the open?" Dennis bent his head to the ground. " Forgive me." Kael said nothing but kept walking. " You were saying.." he said casually without looking at Denis. They walked to a table and they both sat down. Dennis slides a master card through the table towards Kael's front. " This card is a limited version made for only you. It has unlimited spending and you can spend as much as you want. You are free to use it as you please." Kael stared at it before taking it off the table. " Also, this card also comes with concierge service that only you are entitled too. It also has access to grant you entry to any top hostels and also give last minute reservations at any parties. It grants access to top securities and also, it grants you access to travel in private jets." Kael simply nodded like everything Dennis had said meant little or no importance to him at all. " Also, I am going to arrange a suite for you. You can retire to it anytime you feel bored or you want to relax. It is under a password only visible to you." Dennis slid a car key across the table towards Kael again. " Here is the latest Ferrari spider. It is designed to your taste. This is just one of the many cars that await you in your villa." Kael nodded. " Would that be all?" he asked staring at his face. Dennis coughed slightly, adjusting his glasses before speaking again. “Just one more thing… sir,” he said carefully, lowering his voice. “There has been movement from the Council. They’ve started asking questions about your whereabouts.” he said trying to keep his tone calm. Kael’s steps slowed, his expression hardening almost instantly. The casual indifference he wore like a mask began to crack. “And?” he asked flatly. “They suspect you’re back in the city,” Dennis continued. “If they confirm it, they might… intervene.” A faint smirk tugged at Kael’s lips, but there was no humor in it. “Let them try.” Dennis hesitated. “It might not be that simple this time. There are rumors… that they’ve found someone capable of matching you.” Kael stopped walking completely. For a brief moment, silence stretched between them. Then he chuckled. “Matching me?” he repeated. “The world really hasn’t learned.” He slipped the card into his pocket and twirled the car key once before gripping it firmly. “Prepare the suite,” Kael added. “And keep watching them. I want every detail.” “Yes, sir.” Dennis replied. As Kael turned toward the exit, his thoughts briefly flickered back to Seraphina—her anger, her defiance. A strange glint crossed his eyes. “Interesting woman…” he murmured. Then he stepped out, unaware that their paths were far from over.Latest Chapter

The atmosphere inside the mansion remained tense long after Roland’s revelation.Nobody spoke for several seconds.Everything Kael believed he knew was false. The only sound echoing through the room was the faint ticking of the clock hanging on the wall.Kael stood by the shattered table silently, his thoughts raging like a violent storm.Magnus.Council Zero. His father. The cure.Everything felt heavier now. More personal. But among all those thoughts, one thing remained clear in his mind.Revenge.Slowly, Kael lifted his gaze toward Roland. “Fine.”The old man narrowed his eyes slightly. “Fine?”“I’ll do it.” Kael replied coldly. “I’ll marry your daughter.”Veronica’s breath caught instantly.Carlos blinked in surprise while Dennis quietly leaned against the wall with folded arms. He already expected this outcome.Roland stared deeply at Kael, trying to read the expression on his face. But Kael’s eyes were impossible to understand now.“However,” Kael continued, “Do not mistake th

The room went quiet. Roland suddenly felt his body much more calmer throughout Kael's last touch. He slowly got to his feet and placed a hand on Kael's shoulder."I know how you feel. The rage, the anger and of course the sorrow. But you are better than they are, Kael. You are a god among men." "A god with lots of noise inside his head. Do you know I hear their voices. Their scream of pains and here you are telling me I am a god!" Kael's eyes squeezed in anger. "I know. There is nothing I can say that will justify what we did. But everything we did was for the country. It was for the good of mankind." Roland said again. "Why don't you start by giving me the names that I want. I need names of those who killed my men and those who think they are untouchable." Kael looked at him. "I will give that to you in due time but first, you need to work for me." Roland replied. The room went dead silent. Here was a man who was begging not too long ago but now he was trying to bargain again.

Kael stared at the old man kneeling before him. For a second, nobody breathed. Not Veronica. Not Carlos. Not even Dennis who stood beside the door with one hand on the handle, waiting for Kael’s command. The mighty Roland Verlic—the man who once controlled generals, politicians, scientists and entire military divisions—was now kneeling on the cold floor like a broken sinner begging for mercy. Veronica’s lips trembled. “Father…” she whispered weakly. But Roland ignored her. His eyes never left Kael’s face. “Please,” he said again. “Take my wealth. Take my empire. Take my life if you must. But not my daughter.” Kael’s expression remained unreadable. “You speak as though you care about innocent lives now.” Roland lowered his head. “I deserve that.” “You deserve worse.” Kael’s voice became colder. “Do you know what your men did to Sergeant Leon?” The room remained silent. Kael slowly stepped forward. “They peeled the skin off his back while he was still alive.” Veronica gasped.

"What are you doing, Mr Roland?" Carlos looked at his face. Ronald didn't answer any of them. He simply bowed in front of Kael who was trying to recover from his healing sessions. The room went silent with everyone staring at Roland. "Do I know you sir?" Kael asked, his eyebrows flipping upward for a few seconds"You are him ain't you?" Roland Verlic askedEveryone shifted their gaze once more to Kael. Each of them wondering what was really going on. Veronica moved closer to her father and then try to bring him up to his feet. "You dnt know him, Father. I brought him here because he could.." "I know what he is capable of." Roland said immediately. Dennis looked at Kael again. "We need to leave now, Master. You need to rest." But Carlos immediately rushed towards Kael bowing at his feet. "Please heal my wife. She is dead and only you can bring her back." he said with tears. Veronica and Roland looked at Kael again. Right now, he was the miracle doctor and they were lucky to h

Kael shut his eyes, his hand slowly placed on the dead man's chest. Veronica stared at him wondering if he indeed had the power to wake her dead father up. Her gaze slowly went to his face and then to his lips. It was breath taking. Kael was really handsome that Veronica didn't understand why Seraphina let go of him in the first place. For a brief moment, nothing happend. She looked at her dying father. Nothing. No body movements. His hands were not moving and his body laid still. His face was paled and whitish. Veronica looked at Kael again. His forehead was brooding and he was beginning to sweat. Veronica went back to her seat. She slowly crossed her legs and looked at the time. She knew it was not going to easy bringing the dead back to life but then she had all the time to wait. The door opened and Carlos walked in with Dennis right behind him. "Shhh....shh...." she said with a her hands placed on her lips. "He said no one should disturb him." Dennis nod

Joe sent one of his men to the Lochart's mansion. "Here is a letter from Mr. Joe. He would like to get married to Seraphina as soon as possible. Tomorrow will be a good day." Vivian looked at Seraphina. "I think we don't have any reason to say no. I can bet my daughter can't wait too," she replied. "Good." "I will relay your message, Mrs. Lochart," he said with a bow. He was on his way when Vivan stopped him. "What about, Mr. Dennis? I hope he is fine?" "Mr. Dennis?" Who are you talking about?" the messenger asked. Seraphina turned to look at her mother. Her face showed she was a bit anxious. She had been like that ever since Arthur broke the news about Kael being the godhand. Seraphina had googled and searched about who it was, but each time she tried to see who it was, there was no picture. "He is not too tall. He is skinny and..." Seraphina paused and stared at the man she was talking to. "I am sorry, ma'am. I think you misunderstand. Mr. Joe Verlic just sent me over. I
