CHAPTER 1

It was a beautiful day in Lumina village, where everyone lived happily. There was this beautiful family, who were happy with their married life. This two beautiful couple Thomas and Allie, were always happy whenever they work together in the house and at the garden. They've been married for five years, and they were hoping to have a baby. But to their utmost surprise, nothing happened.

Three years passed and still, they had nothing of their own to care for. Thomas became so worried, he was sad to see his colleagues in the village with their own children, and sometimes they laughed at him for not having a single child. Seeing this tragedy, he was devastated. His wife Allie on the other side had already lost the hope that they would bare a child. So later that evening, Thomas told his wife Allie that he is going to the woods to grab some woods for fire to keep them warm for the night.

"Alright honey, but please make sure you come back early for dinner ok?" Allie said.

"Of course dear, you know I would never miss such a meal right?". (Both chuckles)

So he gave her a kiss and set out of the house taking his horse and bows with him and left the village.

Getting to woods, he saw a close river nearby and stopped there. He allowed his horse to drink some water, while he set out to pick some woods which he told his wife Allie that he would bring home.Thomas started searching for woods. Picking his first, he saw a beautiful shiny pendant necklace it was so charming to the point he could not get his eyes off it. So he took the shiny pendant necklace and puts it in a small bag attached to his horse, planning to give it to his wife as a present because it was so beautiful and that he has never given his wife a present ever since they got married.

He never knew what he took, was both a blessing and a curse that would change their lives forever. After he gathered the woods he needed, he went for hunting with his bows. And he was successful with his brilliant hunting skills and killed a wild deer. Getting back to the river where he left his horse, he took a break before going back home.

Thomas did not only left home to get woods or doing some hunting. He wanted to be alone, away from the villagers that had insulted him for not having a child of his own. Thinking about this made him very sad, while sitting close to his horse.

"I wish I could just have a child." Thomas said.

With this words of his, the shiny pendant necklace he kept on a small bag attached to his horse sparkled brightly. But he took no note of such thing. After taking a little rest, he stood up and loaded the woods he gathered and the deer he killed on his horse and headed back home.

When Thomas arrived home, his wife was so happy to see him back to the point she quickly rushed towards him and gave him a tight hug.

"Honey you're back." Allie said

"Yes honey I'm back." Thomas replied

"Can you believe I killed a deer?" Thomas said.

"No way, I can't believe my husband is a strong man." Allie replied with a surprise.

"Oh dear." Both giggled.

it's cold outside honey let's get inside." Thomas said.

Thomas packed the woods he gathered, and took it inside the house to make a fire that would keep them warm for the night forgetting the small bag which the shiny pendant necklace was.

While Thomas was busy making fire, Allie called from up stairs.

"Food is ready!" She said.

"Okay honey I'll be there in a minute" Thomas replied.

So Thomas quickly made the fire to keep them warm in the house and hurried up to his wife for dinner.

"I made your favorite." Allie said.

"Aww, that's so sweet of you honey." Thomas said.

"Wow it tastes so good Allie. How can I ever repay you with this delicious meal you always make for me?" Thomas asked.

Allie smiles, seeing her husband happy and making her feel good, she wanted nothing more.

While having their evening meal together, Thomas remembered he took a shiny pendant necklace from the woods. This made him say: "Honey I have a gift for you."

"Really?" Allie was surprised.

"Yeah, just stay right here I'll be back in a minute." Thomas said.

"Okay." Allie giggled.

So he went outside and opened the small bag on his horse and took the shiny pendant necklace out, taking this beautiful pendant necklace to his beautiful wife.

He told Allie to close her eyes which she did. And Thomas placed this beautiful pendant necklace around her neck and told her to open her eyes. While she opened her eyes she saw this glowing necklace sparkling around her neck. She didn't think twice she just gave her husband a tight hug with a kiss.

"I've really wanted to have something like this for so long and you did it for me? I love you Thomas." Allie said.

"I love you too Allie." Thomas said to his beautiful wife.

Allie still having her hands around her husband, she was very happy.

"I just wish we could have a child and we would be the happiest family ever." She said.

"I know honey." Thomas said.

And this beautiful pendant necklace sparkled again. And this time Thomas saw the pendant necklace sparkled, but he thought it was the fire around the room that reflected on it because it glows a lot. So they had their night meal and went to bed together happily.

The next morning they resumed their daily routine and Thomas sold the deer he killed to a very strange fat man in the village that loves eating all the time. And went back to the garden where his wife Allie was.

When he got there, they worked in the garden for hours and little by little, Allie got dizzy and fell to the ground feeling weak. Thomas seeing his beautiful wife on the ground, he ran towards her and took her up.

"Honey what's the problem, are you alright?"

"Yes honey, I'm fine. It's just that I was a little dizzy that's all." she said.

"I think you must be tired, I'll take you home."

With that, he lifted her on his horse and rode back home. Getting her back home, he placed her on the bed giving her time to recover her strength.

"Honey I'll be right back just stay put okay?"

"Where are you going?" Allie asked.

"I just want to get some herbs from the garden I'll be right back okay?"

"Okay." Allie replied.

Thomas kissed Allie on her forehead and left.

Thomas went back to the garden to look for herbs that would ease his wife Allie from getting dizzy but, he couldn't find anything. He searched for hours yet nothing. So he decided to go to a potion store and when he got there, someone had already bought the last potion he needed. He was disoriented, and doesn't know where else to look. So he had no choice but to go back home to be by her side.

When he got home, Allie was not in the bedroom where he laid her.

"Allie?" Thomas called.

Thomas ran upstairs to see if she was there, but she wasn't and there were no replies.

"Allie?" Thomas shouted.

Then someone knocked the door. Thomas rushed towards the door thinking it was Allie. He opened the door quickly only to see someone else, a woman.

“Who are you?” Thomas asked.

"Wow! Oh my goodness."

Mariana said seeing Thomas for the first time, he saw that Thomas was really cute and she got carried away.

"What is it?" Thomas asked.

Oh so sorry for not explaining myself I got carried away. My name is Mariana, and I'm a friend to your wife Allie and... Wait a minute is everything okay, you look stressed what's the matter?" Mariana asked.

"Nice to meet you Mariana my name is Thomas." Thomas said.

"Oh yeah, I remember. Your wife told me little about you. So tell me, what’s the matter?" Mariana asked.

"Well the thing is I can't find my wife around the house. she was dizzy all of a sudden at the garden and I brought her back home and laid her on the bed for her to recover. And I told her that I want to get some herbs from the garden and now I can't find her Mariana." Thomas said sadly.

"Actually that's the reason I'm here Thomas. I don't want you to worry that much because Allie is at my house right now."

"Really?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah! When I came back from the potion store almost an hour ago, I was about to make dinner for my husband before She knocked on my door.

"So it was you?" Thomas said.

"Me? What is it about me?" Mariana asked.

"Oh nothing really." Thomas replied quickly.

"Hmmm! Anyways as I was saying, she was very weak when she came to my house, and told me something was wrong with her. And that you've been away for hours that she couldn't help it but to come to my place for help. Which I actually gave her some treatment's and later I discovered something else."

“What?” Thomas asked quickly.
