Chapter 6

The supernatural portal opened at the flashy mansion, and Benovio and his siblings appeared still amused about the event.

"Everything you uttered to us about Dragon Master was all fibberies, hogwash and nosy ponies," Circe croaked out, casting a heated stare at Benovio who appeared to look contritely in his expression.

"Well... I thought that was the case," Benovio stuttered. "Hey big sis, don't talk to a big brother like that," Sarah blurted out indignantly.

Circe shot heated stares at Sacorah because of his show of indignation but was then reminded of the tenable audacity she had shown to Benovio in his presence and resolved.

"Enough of this right now, we don't have time to fight amongst ourselves but to ponder a way to deal with this matter," Benovio retorted.

"If Dragon master has his dragon aura even without transforming into a dragon, it means he has remembered half of his memories," Benovio mused.

"That's inerrant," Sacorah announced in a musing manner.

"It simply means we have to get more belligerent in our aims as soon as possible if we still want to win this war," Circe retorted.

"That's true. Get ready, I will come up with a new plan later on how we can achieve success," Benovio announced as he went upstairs to his Master bedroom.

Clark had an unblinking courage and a new sense of identity, but something was off.

Even though he wasn't feeling depleted from using his powers, he knew that some information wasn't entirely vivid to him.

He cast a gaze at his siblings and could recognise them at least.

"If your powers are back, then it means your memories would too," Vivian remarked facing Clark who looked perturbed.

"It's kind of inexplicable but it seems that my situation is It's only half of the memories I remember. I mean, I remember you all and even Biggie and Crimson Arrow but it's limited," Clark said.

"Ooh, there is no need to be flustered about it, big brother. Your reincarnation isn't like ours, it's always more convoluted," Storm Bender retorted amicably as he placed his arms on Clark's shoulder.

"So, you have to get the eighty shadow shards, because whether you like it or not, you would face Terrox. You should remember him with the whittled memories you got," Frozen Claws said as she waggled towards him.

Clark nodded his head because he knew that he had a tad glimpse of that fact.

Clark knew that they would be persistent in making him follow them at the end of the day, but he needed to do something of the utmost importance for him.

"I know what you are going to say, which is that I have to follow you so I can reach the full potential of optimising my aura, but you have to know that I have to say goodbye to my two friends, Joshua and Dhalia," Clark retorted with a smile.

"It's alright big brother, we understand. Just send us a supernatural beep when you are done and we will come pick you up," Storm Bender said as he gave an amicable hug to Clark because he knew that Clark understood.

Clark smiled as he watched them all vanish through a supernatural portal and he was able to remember when he believed that his real name was Donald Morrison.

Clark appeared through his supernatural portal and was completely flustered about who he was for a second and acted sturdily.

He gazed around the dark woods and then tried to check if anyone was around to help his oblivion.

He buckled up further and found that he was dishevelled and his clothes were somewhat tattered.

All of a sudden, his head was filled with tons of memories of Donald Morrison and it felt that he was the one it made him think that he must have previously been perturbed about whoever he was in the past and that was the reason why the emotions seemed to appear a little bit subtle to accept.

He rose and trotted along the paths in the dark woods in search of an open area for some hours till he became weary.

He trudged on a path filled with dense woods and stumbled on a spacious exposed area finally.

Since It was in the evening and the moon was waxing crescent, logs of wood were powering up a fire before a thin man who appeared to look sultry at the moment.

"Who the hell are you? And where did you come from!" He stuttered and trotted upwards to pick a log of wood to defend himself.

"I am Donald Morrison," Clark stuttered. "Ooh, I think I recognise you now, you are that journalist that was working here regarding the humour but you fled away. By the way, I am Joshua Petersburg," Joshua extended his hands for a handshake.

"Ooh, alright, that's me," Clark said as he shook his hands amicably.

"So now that you are back in the city and you jostled into me, I guess I have to treat you to a special dinner, by the way, why did you evade the city? I mean if you say it's because of the rumours I would think that would be so dastardly on the good image of journalism because those rumours aren't even true in the first place," Joshua retorted as he adjusted the tons of meat he was also roasting in the fire.

"Well, I think you are right, and I guess that's why I am back because I shouldn't have fled," Clark said uncleared about his memories regarding that aspect of the discussion.

"Wow, nice to have you back because I am also a journalist and I think we will be good friends," Joshua said and he and Clark entered his small cottage...

Present Day

The supernatural portal opened in the flashy mansion and Storm Bender and the rest got in.

Frozen Claws noticed Vivian's sadistic mood which was subtle to believe her because she expected her to be filled with euphoria at the fact that Dragon Master had gotten his memories back.

"What's wrong Vivian? Why the sad facial expression?" Frozen Claw's lips twitched upwards in curiosity.

"Yes, Vivian. Why are you acting quaintly?" Storm Bender added as a pang of inquisitiveness washed over him.

"Well, that's because when you gave Dragon Master his memories, you didn't emphasise the memories about us, the fact that we were in love and a couple and then we had kids, a son and a daughter," Vivian tutted with tears dropping down from her eyes making the atmosphere tensed and very quiet...
