THE ABUSE

Donald was driving home from work one fateful afternoon when he saw something that caught his attention by the roadside.

It was a lonely path and few people passed that road at intervals. People seemed to prefer to take another path compared to that path.

While driving, he saw a young man in his late thirties walk up to a lady, then he slapped her in the face.

The lady looked helpless as she watched the man walk away, and she began to cry. Donald was moved by the sight of the lady crying and wondered who the man was to her.

So he parked his car beside the road and walked up to the lady. "Hello, young lady. What's the problem? And who was that man?" Donald asked her.

The lady looked up at Donald, surprised that he witnessed the scene that just happened a few minutes ago.

"That...that was my boyfriend," the lady said amidst tears. "What? And he slapped you?! Oh no, that's a criminal offence. You must call the police to arrest him for physically abusing you," Donald said.
