Maria then asked, “So how did you come back to the past?” Veronica and Cecilia's ears stood because they were curious about this as well, Alton's face expression turned into a sad one and then he answered: “As you all have been in Teren Territory you all must have heard about the dragon tear and its wish right.” Maria, Veronica, and Cecilia nodded because this story was known by all the people in the Empire.

The story was that the first head of the Teren family who helped in making the Empire had fought a dragon in the mountains and had almost won against it but he let the dragon go and before leaving the dragon gave him a tear which came out of its eye because it was happy and said that this tear will grand you or your kin one wish when needed.

Alton looked at three of them “I wished and that is how I came back in the past.” Maria felt something was not right and then asked “but why will you come back in time and not wish for anything else could it be” before Maria could complete her words Alton answered, “The current Teren main family was destroyed and the wish was made while I was dying.”

All the girls were shocked and didn’t know what to say when Alton continued “In fifteen years the current Count and the Countess were Assassinated and then I had taken over the family but because I didn’t have enough power all the close allies of the family were killed and my outcome was the same.”

Maria's expression was changing with each second as she wanted to kill the people's response when she asked “Was it, Uncle Edwin?” Alton nodded “Yes but he was not the main person he was also a puppet.” Maria was speechless when she asked, “So who was it.”

Alton shrugged and answered, “I don’t know as well he was the one to kill mother and father and Dragun was the one to kill me but I know that they were both puppets because they were not powerful enough to kill father, mother and the rest of the allies.”

Veronica finally asked, “Master do you have any kind of suspicion about who was behind it.” Alton nodded in denial “No idea but the person must belong to noble of our Country but there was no one I could even point my finger to even after searching” Cecilia then asked, “Young Master shouldn’t we have executed them or stayed at the territory.” Alton answered, “We don’t have proof and don’t forget the world we live in works on power if we are not powerful enough we can’t do anything and if we do anything now we will alert the people who were behind them.”

Veronica mustered up the courage and said “Young Master won't history repeat itself because you should be the next head but you don’t have any kind of talent.” Maria looked angrily at Veronica but stayed silent because this was reality when Alton answered “That's where you are wrong.”

Maria's looked at Alton and asked“What do you mean Alton.” Alton smiled and responded, “Do you guys want to know what my wish was for the dragon.” Maria, Veronica, and Cecilia all three of them looked toward Alton with full attention. “A chance to write my wrongs right and save my family,” Alton said with a smile on his face.

Maria shuddered and asked “So . . . . . Does this mean” Alton nodded and then said, “Yes I was given a blessing in which I have to complete missions to gain power?”

Maria, Veronica, and Cecilia were shocked because all the people in this world have heard of blessings because they are not common but still, some people in the past had them and they were all important people in the world so if Alton had a blessing then he not be ridiculed by all the people.

Maria's eyes started getting watery and wetted her cheeks but these were tears of happiness because finally her brother and the most important person in her life had something good happen to him.

Alton smiled and took Maria's hand in his and said “Sister I will save our family and not let what happened last time happen again.”

Maria still cried and only sobered up after five minutes and asked “So we are going to North because of the blessing.” Alton nodded and then answered, “Yes I also needed a place without anyone looking so it is the best place.”

Maria nodded and then asked “Okay now I understand” and then started thinking about different things when she asked, “Until when are we staying there.” Alton answered, “At least until I have to go to the academy.”

Maria then asked, “Anything I can help you with.” Alton was waiting for this sentence and answered “I want you to get more powerful for the next four years and try to become a 3rd Star Intermediate Mage before we go back and with your talent and with a bit of support I know you will be able to do it.”

Maria was shocked and started sweating hearing about this because some people will not be able to cross from Elementary to Intermediate level in their whole life because this was the one rank higher than Aria as she was only 2nd-star Intermediate Mage.

Alton smiled because he could read Maria like an open book “I know what you are thinking but you will be able to do it believe me mother also said that you have better talent than her so believes in yourself.” Maria nodded and took a deep breath and with resolve answered “I will do my best” because now she was not alone and had a family.

Alton then looked at Veronica and Cecilia then said “You two” Hearing this they both straight their back and then Alton continued “No need to be so serious around me and sister, Do you both want to change your destinies.”
