Elia walked back downstairs with a suitcase; she walked towards Xavier, who didn't seem pleased that she was leaving.

"When will you be back?" he asked.

Xavier had planned a lot of things. Since Elia was stubborn, he planned on using a different approach because all Xavier didn't have while growing up was a loving family, and he didn't want his child to experience that; he wanted things to be different.

"I don't know, Xavier. We'll see when we see." She said and caught sight of Lisa standing by the dining door, watching them.

She leaned closer to Xavier and whispered, "Don't leave my baby with any of your family. I don't want to get any bad news."

Xavier didn't respond; instead, he threw his gaze to Lisa, who stood by the dining door. "There's something we have to talk about before you guys leave," Xavier said, watching as Elia prepared to drag Ethan out of the house. It almost felt like she'd been looking for the right opportunity to leave the house.

"What do you want to talk about?"
