Some Choices Can Be Sad

For several minutes after William had left, Ernst stared into the tent door. He wasn't thinking about anything and didn't hear any of the discussion going on around him. However, when Erwin called out to him, he realized that there was an argument going on around him.

"Sir, your opinion is important. Please allow us to issue an order!" Erwin said with tears in his eyes. Most of the people around him didn't care what Erwin said. Most of them watched Erwin with amusement while taking a sip of their wine.

Ernst lifted his head and looked around. Then he spoke softly. "Everybody out."

Suddenly, everyone in the room ran for the door like a flock of chickens. Instead of having long meetings, it was more logical to go and have a more fun conversation with the commanders.

"Erwin, you stay." Erwin was surprised to hear his name called and turned around. When he saw Ernst nod, he made sure he was being called, turned back, and waited in front of Ernst for orders.
