A Little Gift For My Baby Brother

City of Louisiana~

A white cart adorned with drawings of flying Phoenix slowly enters a busy town. The coachman pedal gradually along the town.

A slender hand of a woman gently shifts the curtain blocking the cart window. She smiles lovely at the scenes in front of her.

"The city of Louisiana is exceptionally beautiful," she confessed with a lovely voice. She glanced back at the man sitting beside her on the top of a seat made of soft fur, smiling warmly at her.

The Man held her left palm gently and rubbed the back of her palm warmly, his ice-blue eyes shining full of warmth.

"I know, you will love it here Melissa," he said in his deep and seductive voice while rubbing his big palm on her small ones.

Melissa produces a wide smile revealing her white teeth. She leans her body into the arms of the Man who caresses her shoulder gently.

Melissa gently rubs her stomach with her palm smiling lovingly. "Our child will love it here as well." The Man tickles her gently which impels her to laugh.

"My desire, anything for you and my unborn child," the Man affirmed, tracing her jawline with his index finger.

Melissa hugs his neck and pulls him into a gentle kiss. "Our child is so divine having you as his Father, Edward!" She expressed, kissing him more. Edward hugs her gently to avoid hurting her baby bump and deepens the kiss.

They separated from the kiss and smiled warmly at each other. They resume their sights through the cart widow. People were seen having their daily activities.

The city of Louisiana is a beautiful kingdom blessed with the gift of nature. The atmosphere is healthy and lively.

The people's attire is simple and cultural.

Melissa giggles at every funny thing she observes, and Edward would smile lovingly at her every tendency.

The busy street was filled with merchants doing their business and  Women advertising their beauty products. 

"My Desire, why don't we take a little rest before we resume our journey," Edward suggested rubbing Melissa's palm. Melissa nodded her head smiling at her husband.

The coachman stops the cart in front of a tavern. 

Edward helps his Wife out of the cart, as Melissa places her hand on her baby bump.

They slowly walk inside the tavern. 

The owner of the tavern welcomed them well. They were ushered into a private room. Once they were settled down inside the private room, Edward made Melissa lay down on her back on top of a soft cushion while he massaged her feet. Melissa smiles warmly at her husband.

Edward and Melissa left the tavern after resting and eating for a while. They stroll around the busy town.

Edward covered Melissa's shoulder With thick fur to prevent her from catching a cold. 

It's winter and the weather is normally cold.

Melissa smiles lovingly at his little gesture. She stares lovingly at the handsome Man in front of her. Her eyes filled with admiration.

Edward straightens her clothes. They link their arms together and scan through various shops in the town. Edward and Melissa bought a lot of things.

"Lovers Light!, Lovers Light!, The Bonding Gem For Through Lovers!" A little girl shouts amidst the crowds.

Melissa glanced in the direction of the voice and saw a little girl holding a heart-shaped light necklace. She dragged her husband and ran towards the girl. Edward chuckles at his wife's action and follows her pace.

"What! Are you laughing? quickly, let's check that out." Melissa said, dragging her husband. She stops in front of the girl who smiles lovingly at her. "Pretty Sis, do you want my lover's lamp!" The Little girl said, smiling as she held her Lamp up towards her.

Melissa held her cheeks with her palms and glanced at Edward who was smiling lightly at her. She mouthed "She called me pretty," Edward chuckles lightly at her words.

"You are so cute!" Melissa said, rubbing the little girl's head. "Thank you, Pretty sis. Do you want my lover's lamp, if you do,  you can use it to bond your love with the… Gorgeous Uncle beside you." she said, dragging the last part as she glances at Edward who smiles warmly at her.

Melissa glanced at her husband who looks natural. "Sure!, I want it how much?" The little girl handed the lamp to her "It's only **** not expensive," the little girl said, smiling from ear to ear.

Melissa handed her a small posh, "Thank you, Pretty sister." The Little girl greeted, her voice full of enthusiasm. "Here you can have this." The Little girl added as she handed her a heart-shaped necklace. Melissa squinted her eyes at her.

 The Little Girl explains quickly seeing the oblivious doubts in her eyes. "It's my little gift, to my baby brother." she declared, smiling cheerfully.

Melissa exchanged eye contact with Edward who narrowed his eyes.

He slowly bent down to the little girl's height and smiled warmly at her. "Little one, what do you mean by my baby brother?" He asked, his voice sounding so magnetic. 

The little girl smiled again. "Yes, I can see Pretty Sis, giving birth to a baby brother and he's going to be very strong and powerful." The Little girl explained fully with confidence. Out of reflex, Melissa held her baby bump protectively.

Edward's eyes furrow in realization 'Seems like the little one is from the diviner clans, but she's not aware of it...' he thought to himself.

He glances up at Melissa whose eyes are fluttering, and agitated, and smiles assuredly at her.

He glances back at the little girl who was still smiling cheerfully. "Little one, can you place your palm on mine," he said smiling. The Little girl hesitates and glances up at Melissa. Melissa gave her a reassuring smile. She places her right hand on top of Edward's right palm.

She stared intently at Edward who covered her small palm with his left palm. He smiles warmly at her.

After a few seconds, she felt a chill on my palm and a shining light glowed under her palm. Her eyes widened in shock.

Edward removes his palm revealing a half-moon-shaped ice-blue silver pendant under her palm. She stares at it stunned. she glances back at Edward who was already on his feet, confused.

Edward rubs her hair gently. "This is my relic to you as my unborn son's elder sister," Edward explained.

The Little girl smiled heartily "Really!" She asks anxiously. 

Melissa and Edward nod their head together, Melissa hugs her husband smiling.

"And one more thing Little one!" The little girl glanced up at Edward who turned serious this time. "Don't let people know you can see their future," The little girl stared at him confused.

"Don't go about telling people what you see about them," Edward said with a serious tone. 

"If I may ask, why?" the little girl asked, feeling confused.

Melissa smiled warmly at her "Because... that will put you in danger not everyone is nice." Melissa said, rubbing her head gently, emphasizing the words.

The little girl nodded in understanding. Melissa and Edward wave at her and walk back to their cart. The little girl stares at their fading back among the seas of people fascinated. She raises her lips into a broad smile.  'Wait For Me Little Brother' she whispered to herself while rubbing the moon pendant on her palm. Her eyes filled with deep emotions.

The couple continues their journey to the city of Louisiana. Their cart gradually left the busy town to the meadow paths.

Edward cuddles his wife who leans in his arms. He caresses her back gently making Melissa sleep relaxed in his arms.

Edward smiles lovingly at her sleeping expression.

A sudden gust of wind hit their cart, causing their cart to throb. Melissa woke up from Edwards's arm due to the strong impact of the wind.

Edward calmly stroked her back gently while looking outside through the window but he couldn't see anything. The whole place was a foggy collision with the strong winter.

"What's going on!" he asked the coachman but was greeted with silence.

Melissa's eyes flickered anxiously in panic. Her shoulder tensed. Edward hugged her to his chest and calmed her down.  "Wait here, let me check what was going on out there," he tried to persuade Melissa who shook her head.

 "No, Edward!" Edward kissed her forehead gently "Don't be scared of my Desire, just wait here I promise you I will be back."  he assured her.

Melissa reluctantly let him go, her eyes flicking in vigilance. She brought out her thunder fan from her space ring.

Edward went outside to see the coachman freeze in place.

He took a step away from the cart as his eyes observed the surroundings. He senses the strong aura hovering around the atmosphere. Whoever the intruder is using a time-stopping technique.

His ice-blue eyes glow with ice-blue peals dancing around his pupils.

"Show yourself!" he bellowed, not batting an eye. A gust of frost wind immediately starts to swirl around him.

A Man wrapped up in black and silver linen appeared in front of him and bowed his head as he placed his right hand on his chest in courtesy. "Am sorry for approaching you like this my prince", The Man confessed, respectively.

Edward glared dangerously at the intruder.

"Who are you?" He asked with a furious voice.  "I am one of the Saints guarding the Mystic World." The man explained standing with his shoulders high. 

Edward sized the man up with his raised brows. The Man who claimed to be among the Saints guarding the Mystic World had a long staff in one hand. The top of the staff was shaped like a round orb. His raven hair was trimmed neatly and sleek backward at his back.
