Cursed?

"Quickly drag them to the village field. Tie them to the stake!" the village chief ordered ten of his men.

With alacrity, ten burly men dragged the weak bodies of middle-aged men and women, who were lying weakly helpless on their mattresses. Their two hands and feet were deliberately tied with iron chains.

They lay helpless because their bodies were filled with spheres of water and pus. Even part of their skin has been peeled off and rotted. Not only that but to breathe they are also very difficult.

There was the sound of iron chains being dragged from the ancient-style Japanese stilt house building. The two old men were dragged like big criminal who was so dangerous for the villagers.

A hundred villagers watched with various reactions, ranging from happy reactions and laughter, some felt sad because they were close to them.

"Attention to the villagers, you can see the condition of these two old people, so bad smell and helpless because of one disease. And if I look at it, they have both been affected by diseases since one week ago," shouted village chief Lord Mimura.

A burst of chaos broke the silence of the village after the village chief mentioned how long the parents had been suffering from a disease that was not yet clear what the name was. Most villagers think that the two old men could have contracted a cursed disease.

Therefore, most of the villagers agreed to stone and expel the two old men because they were considered to have brought curse diseases. The villagers are also afraid if the two old people are still in this village, it will be bad for this village.

"Stoning them! Get them out of here!" furious most of the Hogo villagers.

There was anger in the eyes of most villagers who asked the two old men to be punished according to their wishes.

"Punished? What is the reason?" asked Mr Mimura.

"Because they have been cursed. We are sure that they are sick because they are cursed. We don't want to be infected by the cursed disease," Mr Nobi said.

The riot erupted again after Mr Nobi answered their reasons for being punished. The insistence of residents who have always disliked Mr Sahasaki's family continues to echo in the field of Hogo village.

"Wait a minute, don't be vigilante, can't we wait for their two sons to check the state of their parents? Aren't they scientists and specialists," said a young man who is none other than the little friend of Mr Sahasaki's twins, Lana.

"Know what you kid are! Their illness is because they are cursed. So it's better, we don't have to wait for those damned children," Mr Nobi argued.

Things got even more chaotic, as Mr Sahasaki coughed and bled. The pressure and pressure of the residents intensified, and in the end, made the village chief Hogo surrender. Mr Mimura left the decision to the villagers to do whatever they wanted to Mr Sahasaki and his wife.

"Well. If that's what you want. I leave it to you, it's just that I will never be responsible if their two sons Qavi and Uzi get angry," Mr Mimura stressed.

Clapping hands and whistling of happiness accompanied the happiness of the villagers because Mr Mimura had complied with their request. Sadistically, Mr Nobi ordered the ten burly men to drag the two helpless weak old men to the stake.

Lana immediately blocked ten burly men from dragging Mr Sahasaki and Mrs Uriana. Lana also kowtowed before the residents and the village chief.

"Master Mimura, I beg your mercy, please don't listen to the villagers' requests to punish and expel them. Where do they want to sleep? Meanwhile, our village is surrounded by dense forests," Lana said.

Like eating simalakama fruit, Mr Mimura can't do anything. On the other hand, he wanted to help Mr Sahasaki, but on the other hand, Mr Nobi's power to make him the village chief was quite strong.

Seeing Lana's low look, made Mr Mimura feel pity. But he couldn't show Lana his compassionate side. Mr Mimura kept showing his scary face and placed his hands on Lana's shoulders, while helping the young man get up he whispered, "Hurry up and go to Osaka city, just find the top medical university there, meet Qavi and Uzi, tell them that Mr Nobi has tortured your parents."

Lana raised her face before Mr Mimura. Not believing the order given by the Village Chief, Lana just frowned her forehead, implying a sign that she wanted it.

"Quickly you stand up from before me, Lana. I'm disgusted by your style like that," Mr Mimura shouted at Lana.

All eyes were on Lana and Mr Mimura. Feeling cared for by all the residents, Mr Mimura immediately left the village square.

While Lana just stood watching Mr Mimura leave. In her mind, Lana was still at a loss as to what to do.

The villagers still cheered tormenting Mr Sahasaki and Mrs Uriana. Whipped with iron chains by Mr Nobi, and showered with dozens of stones.

Unable to bear to see her best friend's parents, Lana immediately left to catch up with Mr Mimura. Lana quickened her pace to catch up with Mr Mimura.

A few minutes Lana discovers the whereabouts of Mr Mimura who turns out to be hiding behind a cattle shed.

"Master Mimura, what are you doing here?" whispered Lana from the direction behind Mr Mimura stood up.

"Oh my God," Mr Mimura surprised. "Shh... You fool. Don't let anyone see me hiding here," Mr Mimura said.

Lana directly covered her mouth and did the same with Mr Mimura, hiding behind the cattle shed, while occasionally peeking at Mr Nobi's treatment of Mr Sahasaki.

"Lana, here I give you the money. Go to Osaka immediately," Mr Mimura ordered once again.

Mr Mimura gave him twenty pieces of paper worth 1000 yen, from a small bag made of his sheepskin.

"Why are you giving so much money?" asked Lana in surprise.

"So that you can tell Qavi and Uzi immediately. Hurry up, don't wait too long. You must return to this village, along with them!" ordered Master Mimura.

Understanding the order, Lana immediately turned her body around and immediately ran a silent date towards her house. Lana deliberately went home first, to get clothes, and some things needed later.

There was a weak, hoarse scream, from a middle-aged woman Lana knew so well. His hoarse screams implied the pain he had to accept.

Lana now realizes that Mr Mimura's order has some truth, only she can help Mr Sahasaki and his wife.

For almost thirty minutes, Lana saw how Mr Nobi tortured Mr Sahasaki so passionately.

"Villagers. I suggest that these two people, let's just throw them into the forest!" Mr Nobi suggested.

All the villagers who were frightened by Mr Nobi were forced to support his proposal. The residents also answered him with a thunderous shout.

Ten burly men were ordered by Mr Nobi to lead Mr Sahasaki like a farm animal into the forest. Dragging it was so rough, that the wounds on the bodies of the two of them released a red liquid and gave off a foul smell.

Even the villagers who had smelled the stench immediately disembowelled their stomachs. Some of them just went straight to follow where Mr Nobi and the ten burly men were going, including Lana.

Carrying a bag made of sheepskin, Lana mingled with the residents in the last row. The steps stopped about five hundred meters from the distance of Hogo village.

There is an old hut that only a few villagers use to rest when releasing their livestock.

"Now there is no more curse in our village," Mr Nobi said with a loud laugh.

Mr Sahasaki couldn't help but stare with resentment and softly. Mnobi's wish to remove him from this village has come true.
