The rain fell harder.

The four masked figures stood amidst the storm like messengers of death.

Dark energy twisted around them.

The pressure alone was enough to make ordinary people collapse.

The attackers sent by Lucas King had long since fled.

Even their leader was crawling away in terror.

This was no longer a conflict mortals could understand.

This was something else entirely.

Something ancient.

Something terrifying.

Ethan stood silently.

His heart pounded.

Not from fear.

But from recognition.

The moment he saw the masked figures, fragments of forgotten memories stirred deep within his soul.

Blood.

War.

Death.

Betrayal.

The same dark aura had appeared before.

Long ago.

Before his death.

The leader of the masked figures took a step forward.

His silver mask reflected flashes of lightning.

"We searched every realm."

"We searched every forbidden zone."

"We searched every reincarnation cycle."

"And finally..."

His gaze locked onto Ethan.

"We found you."

Luna clenched her fists.

"How?"

The masked leader laughed.

"You really thought one soul fragment could remain hidden forever?"

His eyes shifted toward Ethan's chest.

"The moment he absorbed it, we felt it."

Ethan's expression darkened.

"So you've been watching me?"

The masked leader nodded.

"For five years."

A chill ran down Ethan's spine.

Five years.

These people had been searching for him since the moment he woke up without memories.

They had simply never found him.

Until tonight.

The leader slowly raised his hand.

A black spear materialized out of thin air.

Its appearance caused the surrounding air to crack.

"We have one mission."

"Destroy every trace of the Sovereign."

The other masked figures stepped forward.

Killing intent exploded from their bodies.

Luna suddenly moved.

She stood directly before Ethan.

"No."

The masked leader sneered.

"Do you truly believe you can stop us, White Guardian?"

Ethan frowned.

White Guardian?

Luna's face hardened.

For the first time since meeting her, the gentle girl disappeared.

In her place stood a warrior.

An ancient warrior.

One who had survived countless battles.

"You should have stayed hidden," she said coldly.

The masked leader laughed.

"And let the Sovereign awaken?"

"Never."

A terrifying battle seemed ready to erupt.

Then—

Luna took a deep breath.

"Ethan."

He looked at her.

"What?"

Her eyes softened.

For a brief moment.

Almost sadly.

"I'm sorry."

Before Ethan could react—

Luna pressed her palm against his chest.

BOOM!

Blinding white light erupted from her body.

The entire street shook violently.

The masked figures froze.

Shock appeared in their eyes.

"No!"

The leader's voice changed completely.

"She's breaking the seal!"

A massive wave of energy surged outward.

Ethan felt his vision blur.

Countless strange symbols appeared around Luna.

Chains of white light shattered one after another.

CRACK!

CRACK!

CRACK!

The heavens trembled.

Then—

A pair of enormous wings unfolded behind her.

Pure white.

Radiant.

Divine.

The entire city skyline illuminated.

People miles away looked toward the sky in shock.

The masked figures staggered backward.

Fear appeared in their eyes for the first time.

"You've gone insane!"

the leader shouted.

"You'll die if you release that power!"

Luna ignored him.

Her silver eyes glowed brightly.

Ancient.

Sacred.

Powerful.

She looked nothing like the girl Ethan had met at the crossroads.

Now she looked like a goddess.

A goddess descending from heaven.

Ethan stared.

Fragments of memory exploded inside his mind.

A woman kneeling before a golden throne.

A sword forged from starlight.

An oath spoken beneath countless stars.

"My life belongs to Your Majesty."

The vision vanished.

Ethan grabbed his head.

"Luna..."

She smiled gently.

The same smile she had worn at the crossroads.

"Looks like you remembered something."

Before Ethan could speak—

The masked leader roared.

"Kill her!"

The four masked figures attacked simultaneously.

Darkness surged forward.

Luna raised one hand.

The world froze.

The rain stopped in midair.

The wind ceased.

Even sound vanished.

Then—

She flicked her finger.

BOOM!

A wave of white light erupted outward.

The four masked figures were blown away instantly.

Buildings shattered.

Roads cracked.

The entire district shook violently.

The assassins crashed through multiple structures before finally stopping.

Blood poured from their mouths.

Their eyes were filled with horror.

Impossible.

One sealed guardian shouldn't possess this much power.

Unless—

The leader's face turned pale.

"You were one of the Nine Celestial Guardians..."

Luna said nothing.

Which was answer enough.

The masked leader immediately made a decision.

"Retreat!"

The four figures transformed into shadows and fled.

Disappearing into the storm.

The battlefield became silent once more.

The divine wings behind Luna flickered.

Her face suddenly turned pale.

The brilliant light surrounding her weakened.

Ethan caught her before she fell.

"Luna!"

She smiled weakly.

Blood trickled from her lips.

"This power..."

"I wasn't supposed to use it yet."

Ethan's chest tightened.

"What do you mean?"

Luna slowly reached into her robe.

She removed an ancient golden scroll.

Its surface was covered with mysterious runes.

"This..."

"...contains the location of your second soul fragment."

Ethan accepted it.

The moment he touched the scroll, the runes glowed.

A map appeared before his eyes.

A distant mountain range.

An ancient ruin.

A name.

The Tomb of Fallen Stars.

Luna looked up at him.

Her breathing had become shallow.

"The second fragment is there."

"You must get it before they do."

Ethan frowned.

"They?"

Luna's expression grew serious.

"The Soul Reapers are only servants."

The words hit him like lightning.

Servants?

Those monsters were servants?

Then who was their master?

Luna's eyes filled with fear.

A fear deeper than anything she had shown before.

"The one who truly betrayed you..."

"...already knows you're alive."

The sky thundered.

And far beyond the clouds...

Inside a palace floating between worlds...

A pair of ancient golden eyes slowly opened.
