Lyla agreed with Sean and she continued talking

"You are very good with the use of a dagger. Are you sure you want to do this? Are you sure you are strong enough?"

Sean understands Lyla is asking if he is mentally prepared for the fight against the devils and he won't just get killed before the fight starts.

"Come on, I made this decision and I'm ready. Moreso, I've got no choice, unless I want to be trailed by devils until I die or the tribulation is over. If I'm lucky, I have to do this. Sean smiled and reassured Lyla.

He didn't want to risk their plan.

He had not minded fighting the devil soldiers. If it was some human soldiers or thugs, he can easily dodge them instead of going to a fight with them. But this? With the scent?

It surely was a different matter entirely.

"Uhm, apart from being safe, is there anything we can loot from the battle? Something that can at least help us through the tribulation" Sean asked ay after thinking of what profit they can derive from the battle

"You mean devil's meat?" Lyla asked jokingly and continued'' Sure, there is. The devil's bone, rumors had it that the devil's bones are magical items. They can be forged into armor, but it will require a lot of devil's bone to make one. I heard few devils wear those armours in this city but the devil general and the devil lord have them. Anyway, the only thing profitable out of this battle apart from their meat is a piece of their bone. It is a great weapon against the devils, it kills then faster than other weapons"

"Well then, we take as much bone as we can. Wait, are you serious about eating the devil's meat?" Sean asked with an irritating voice 

"Yeah, it's meat. I've never eaten one before but by the time we run out if food, unless we want to rob others, we won't have any other choice"

"Forget about that. The devil's bone, can it be forged into other weapons except for armor?"

"Of course but whatever is it that it will be forged into, you'll need magic"

On hearing Lyla's reply, Sean smiled to himself, if he has enough devil bones and he makes enough weapons and sells them in the game, he'll make a lot of money. That is why the entered this game in the first place. As for magic, he hope the player bounded with him improve in the learning of magic. 

Everything seemed easy to Sean; he'll get devil bones, the other player learns magic, they make weapons and get rich. 

Sean smiled I himself again but then the smile froze, there is one trouble; getting the bone out of the devil. He doesn't know whether the magma on the devil's body will be ineffective after the devil's death, if it does, he will just have to pull the dissected body but if it doesn't, he might have to wait till the devil rot.

Then, an idea popped up in his mind

"Hey, if the devil bone kills the devils faster, then why don't we get one before we fight them?" Sean said to Lyla

"What do you mean?"

"I killed a devil yesterday, right? We can get it's bones, we'll have more advantage"

Sean is prepared to take any risk to complete this mission faster. Even the devil iis not his target so to kill the devil lord, he might need the devil's bone. 

Be js not just going to stay passive and get pursued by devils, "attayos the best defense " he reminded himself

He had made the dangerous choice when he entered this game and running from it is not a good idea. He will lose his reward and might even die in the process

"Going to fight the devils with devil bone or not, it's still dangerous, we will need to prepare" Lyla said

"Prepare, how?"

"Like I said, we need to avoid close combat but in case you get close to and can't escape, you might need some blocking skills. I can teach you blocking skills so that you'll have more options when fighting them, what will you offer in return?"

As a thug, she surely will have some skills she has been using to protect herself and she might want to learn a skill she knows nothing about, but does Sean give that skill now that she wants something in return.

"Are you going to learn blocking from me?"

Lyla asked say when she saw Sean's reluctant to answer 

A system window popped up at the same time on Sean's vision

This particular scroll was written for brilliant students that are invited into the league, not random students that applied for membership.

The only reason the Anti Devil Sect is in the list is because the League thought this kind of promotion might help boost the sect's members. 

Trina examined Anti Devil Sect's row. The description of the direction of their research piqued her interest especially since the sect is 'anti devil' and there is a devil tribulation going on.

Moreover, the identity in which they could enroll her in was rather attractive

"Personal Direct Disciple of the Sect Master"

Her purpose of joining the League is to have more information about the tribulation and get closer to completing her mission, the Anti Devil Sect seem to suit her to a tee 

Because of the sect's weaknesses and Trina's identity of 'a brilliant invited student', she still enjoys a high degree of freedom and high status upon entering. Anyway, those magic arts are what she interested in 

And the object of their research Devils and Dragons vam supplement her lack of knowledge in that area. Trina thought as she tapped a finger on the Anti Devil Sect.

"It is then" she concluded.

Trina looked around and saw Liu, she signaled for him to come and asked him

"This place,what do you think of it?"

"All of this place is specially designed for the league, I think it is off limits for common villagers"

"I was thinking the same thing. There must be very powerful people here, we should tread softly and not get into trouble "

"Sure"

Cheng, the man that welcomed Trina earlier came back and asked

"Sister Trin, have you made your decision?"

Cheng asked with a broad smile on his face

"Oh, yes. I have chosen to learn at Anti Devil Sect" Trina replied with a smile too.

On hearing Trina, the smile on Cheng's face froze

"Uhmm, miss Trin, Anti Devil Sect will soon be dropped out the League, you might want to reconsider your choice"

"Of course not, I've taught of everything thing and I have chosen"

"So be it then. Anyway, of you get to the sect and decided to change your sect, you are always free to that " Cheng replied putting a smile on his face

"Thanks for that "

"You can rest now, early tomorrow morning, we will head to Anti Devil Sect " Cheng said as he retracted his steps and left

On Black Smoke Canyon, several hundred meters away from Flying Inn, the yellow ground had cracked out of dryness, everything withered and vegetation was extinct.

Like a giant black scar, Black Smoke Canyon lay stretched across the yellow plain, an unending stream of coldness gushing out of it continuously.

A giant black hole opened up in the face of the cliff wall right in the middle of the Canyon.

Trina stood behind her female guide. Presently, he was standing in front of the hole, gazing at the signboard hung above it

"Anti Devil Sect"

Those three words were etched squarely and neatly into inky black signboard, looking rather imposing.

The entire cave was several dozen meters tall. Standing at the boy's mouth was like standing before the haws of a mysterious mammoth beast, as if she could be swallowed by it instantly at any time.

"This is Anti Devil Sect" The female guide reached for a wheel in the wall beside the mouth of the cave and turned it 

"Rumble l, rumble…"

Instantly, the tremors under their feet spread into the depth of the cave

"This place is very deserted, if you want to buy anything, you will have to head back to the Flying Inn, there is no other street around, remember. On top of that, the people in the Anti Devil Sect…" 

Before she could finish her words, she shit her mouth abruptly.

A gust of chilly air blew out from the cave. A pale faced young man with blood red eyes emerged from the right side of the cave at looked at Trina

"Master has sent me to receive our new Junior Apprentice Sister ''. The air that blew from the man reeked of a disgusting smell, nothing about him looked human. "Which one among you is Trin Queen?"

His voice was slow at low and sounded as if he would break into a cry at any time.
