Battle on Dome-7 (I)

The shooting lasted for awhile no one gaining advantage over the other. Buildings nearby the bar were a wreck. Many lay on the floor dead. Be it Magitech or Bounty Hunters, Looking around, Nex along with her team hid on a nearby cover She spoke to the hooded figure, "Tell me why'd you help me?"

The hooded figure stayed silent as it charged towards the enemies, slicing them down to size.

Nick picked up a gun that fell and started shooting. His aim was something less to be desired. He did hit someone on the shoulders but Magitech's alloy armor was tougher than expected.

"I thought you served in the army! what the fuck kind of aim is that!?" She said as she reloaded her final mag. Nick wiped the sweat from his forehead, "I was a Field Medic!"

"I'm out. Shit... Magitech got here too fast. They're more cautious than I expected." Nex said as she looked around for a gun.

Nick looked towards her direction, "Oh, you think!?" They moved on another cover, Nex tried to peek but they were met with a hail of bullets. "Okay wise captain, how the fuck are we going to get away from certain death!?"

"I can handle this." Blair said as her arms slowly transformed and combined into a large railgun. Nex sent out a whistle, "Nice."

Blair called the ship, "Please stand by as I open a path and wait for the ship to arrive. For the meantime I shall charge my weapon. I require 30 seconds."

Nex picked up a nearby gun she checked it's content. She threw a smoke grenade and rolled while she kept firing and moved to another cover. The two followed suit Nick however fired his gun randomly hitting shit all.

"Wow, Army man... I see you in a new light now." She said sarcastically suddenly they met with Dessir's group. He looked towards Nex and breathed a sigh of relief. His left hand was covering her shoulder as he stopped the bleeding from his bullet wound.

"Damn it! Even if we died here it would take a long time for the guild to decide whether or not to attack Magitech. We're sitting ducks here." He said as he stared at his men dying slowly.

"Do you have a ship?" He asked her. She nodded and returned fire towards the enemies. Bullets ricocheted into a nearby wall and a metal shard flew to a nearby soldier and punctured his neck.

"I am ready." Blair said as she fired her rail gun. Obliterating the people in front of them. Everything within a Three meter radius in front of them turned into nothing. One Bounty Hunter with the scope augment on his left eye he saw a huge nail lodged on the edge of the dome's walls.

Everything was silent Nex's shout woke them up from their stupor. Everyone scattered for cover. Nex ran straight through. Blair told them she would be landing the Ship nearby where it's clear.

"In the end we still have to Wade through them huh..." Nick said as he tossed the guns on his hands. He stared at Nex, "We should split up and rendezvous on the ship." Nex nodded her head. She looked at Dessir, "What about you?"

He shook his head and told her, "No not me, but these kids need to get to their ships as well. Can you cause a big enough disruption?" Nex gave him a grin, "Fuck yeah, causing chaos is my jam." Dessir grinned fearlessly, "Alright!" He rammed through the metal wall in front of them. Creating a large enough hole for the others to go to.

Nex took the opposite route as she went behind the red light district's buildings. She spotted one and kicked the Gun off of one of Magitech's soldiers and pulled the trigger spraying to the nearby soldiers that were distracted by the loud noise. She rolled to cover as what followed her was a barrage of bullets. She drew venom and Tossed it towards the nearest one as she flipped and ran on the wall sending a kick to the other one snapping his neck.

Nick on the other hand took the alleyways behind the residential buildings what greeted him was a row of soldiers. "Fuck... Damn my luck." They all pointed a gun towards his direction. He jumped towards the window. Glass shattered everywhere.

He ran upstairs as Magitech's soldiers kept firing at him. They chased him inside the tall building. They marched in till the second floor  until Nick Kicked open the closed off room near the stairs pushing off the soldiers tumbling down.

He immediately jumped down to run but a soldier recovered and slammed his gun on Nick's face as he hit the wall. He clicked his tongue and licked the top of his lips as he stood up. Tasting the iron on his nose he chuckled softly, "You're not gonna like what's going to happen next." He said as he blocked another incoming strike and slammed his fist on the man's helmet. He kicked him on his chest and bolted towards the door.

He dashed outside slamming his shoulders at the door as  the soldiers came after him. As soon as he got back on the streets he looked in front and behind and all he saw we're Magitech's soldiers. "You have got to be fucking kidding me." He raised his hands up and smiled meekly, "You know what? Fuck this..." He caressed his silver ring.

He mumbled and the ring glowed blinding the onlookers as a brown shoulder bag made out of leather appeared from it.

He immediately took out two small vials the size of an adults fingers. It looked like it was filled with Brown Liquid. He threw the two vials on the ground and as it broke it released a brown mist enveloping the area.

He jumped on a nearby pipe and climbed up, as he held on the pipe he raised his other arm and chanted,

The ground suddenly rumbled and spikes protruded from the ground and the walls stabbed and pierced every soldier in range. He jumped down and stared at the shivering soldier as he stared at his dead comrades.

Nick put his hand on his helmet and it melted revealing the man's terrified expression. The melted alloy compressed into a small pill. He forcefully opened the man's mouth and put the pill inside.

The soldiers scared out of his wits thinking it was poison fell on his butt and nearly pissed his pants as he tried to scramble away from Nick. He instantly picked up the soldier by the neck and kept on walking as he saw another group of soldiers and tossed the man towards them.

Ink like blades exploded from inside the man impaling almost all of the soldiers to the walls or the ground. He walked through the others as he repeated the same process until he reached their meeting place. He was wearing a frown the whole time. He stared at the direction Nex and Blair took and sighed. "I guess this way works as well."
