The air was thick with the buzzing of wings and the hissing of serpents as Fahid, Mahmoud, and Ali stood back-to-back, surrounded by shifting, monstrous forms. The ghouls twisted into giant bees, scorpions, snakes, and snarling dogs, their eyes glowing with malevolence.

Mahmoud tightened his grip on his emerald-green wooden sword, its surface shimmering with ancient energy. "They don’t give up, do they?" he muttered, eyeing a ghoul that had taken the form of a massive, venomous wasp.

Ali spun his radiant blade, its golden light cutting through the unnatural darkness. "No, but neither do we," he replied, determination hardening his voice.

Fahid smirked, electricity crackling along his azure sword. "Then let’s finish this."

Jamal moved with a ferocity that was almost identical to Hazim’s fighting style, swift, aggressive, and relentless. His strikes were sharp, his footwork precise, but Laith saw through it immediately. As Jamal landed a heavy blow on a ghoul, sending it stumbling back, Laith scoffed. "That’s a fake copy,” Laith said, his voice dripping with disdain. “No one can set the ghouls on fire like my brother. You’re just imitating."Jamal didn’t respond, he was too focused on the fight, but Laith wasn’t finished. In the blink of an eye, his armor flared with lightning-fast speed, and he cut down ten ghouls before they could even react. The air crackled with energy as their bodies collapsed, lifeless. Turning to Ali, who stood frozen for a moment, Laith barked, "Don’t just stand there! I will leave you behind if you can’t keep up."Ali’s grip tightened around his sword. "Don’t you dare think you’re better than me," he shot back, his voice low but fierce. "And don’t disrespect me, I’m older th

The cold wind howled through the empty streets as the team regrouped, their breaths ragged from the battle with the giant ghoul. Just as they thought the worst was over, a familiar, mocking laughter echoed from above. Their blood ran cold. Yajij stood atop a crumbling building, his dark cloak fluttering like a sinister banner. His grin was sharp, his eyes gleaming with triumph. "Did you really think it would be that easy?" he called down, his voice dripping with amusement. Adrenaline spiked through the group as they realized the truth, they had been played. The ghoul had been nothing more than a distraction. "You’ve fallen right into my trap," Yajij continued, spreading his arms wide. "While you wasted your strength on that beast, I claimed what I came here for, I've won this battle." Before anyone could react, a blur of motion shot past them. Hazim and the black knight lunged at Yajij with blinding speed, the flame of Hazim's sword raging. Metal clashed against claws as the t

But just as the Black Knight swung his blade downward, a shrill screech tore through the air. A human-sized ghoul, swift and vicious, lunged from the shadows. Its claws slashed across the knight’s back before he could react, the force of the blow sending him crashing to the ground with a heavy thud. "No!" Ali’s blood ran cold as the knight’s body skidded across the rubble. The smaller ghoul hissed, its glowing eyes locking onto its next target. Hazim clenched his fists. "We have to help him!"
