Chapter Twenty one
Marco looked at the time on his wristwatch, he saw that it was past 1 am.

"shit!" he swore as he walked faster to his apartment. He had lost track of time when he was helping Raina clean. They must have spent a lot of time talking and bonding.

It felt good. Marco could use a friend right now. After his altercation with Chris, things were bound to get worse for him in school.

He had chosen the wrong moment to be brave, He knew his life would be hell from here on.

Raina was cheering for him while he was dreading going to school to face them. But for once, it was kind of good to have her smile at him for his bravery.

Marco rubbed a hand down his weary face, he was tired and he wanted to sleep, the events of the day wearing down on him.

The party scene wasn't his, he hated the crowd of judgemental people. But all in all, he was glad that he showed up for his friend.
