"Pft. Can't you see huh?"

"Hell! what's the point of being a janitor when you can't even clean properly huh?"

Oscar huffed and wiped the sweat on his fore head. He chose to ignore these tauntings.

It wasn't as if this was his first time experiencing such stuff.

"Hey! i'm taking to you!" one of the bullies shoved Oscar against the wall.

"Don't you dare ignore me! piece of shit!"

Adjusting his glasses, Oscar groaned.

"What is it Bill? why do you always love picking on me huh?"

"Why? because you disgust me that's why!" Bill snarled.

"Just admit it, you are envious of my good looks. Honestly, i'm quiet helpless about it too. Ah!" Oscar sighed helplessly.

"Envious my ass! you are no worse than dog shit!"

"Oh my! dosen't that make you uglier than dog shit? honestly bro, you should pity yourself. How can you downgrade yourself to such level huh?" Oscar clicked his tongue.

Bill's eyes blazed. Just as he wanted to design the bastard's face before him, he heard a scream from behind.

"Touch him if you dare!"

A chubby male student in expensive clothing swaggered in, standing protectively before Oscar.

"Oh. It's you boss fattie" Bill's tone became respectful.

In the whole of campus, Boss fattie was a famous figure. Although he was fat, nobody looked down on him for that. Infact, he was lauded as the number one fighter.

KCP university was usually attended by those from rich backgrounds. Only a few minority were paupers who got in after winning scholarships.

Fattie Boss (Cargo) happened to belong to the latter group. As such, he took it upon himself to stand up for those with humble backgrounds, from the bullying of those rich young folks.

"Yes it is me. Anything for me?" Cargo grinned, however the fat on his face rattled, concealing a majority of his white teeth.

"I just so happen to admire boss fattie's righteous moves. Take these as a token of kudos" Bill fearfully fished out some bank notes.

Cargo counted the money and gwaffed.

"Bill my pal, you are too generous gifting me five hundred bucks"

"It's nothing" Bill took the opportunity to flee with the rest of his friends.

"Hmph" Cargo snorted coldly after they left.

This was the reason why he loathed these rich suckers. They would bully those weaker than them, while venerating those more powerful than them.

"Are you okay?" he smiled warmly at Oscar.

"I'm fine. How could those losers scare me? i was about to teach them a lesson before you waltzed in and stole the limelight. Ah! There goes my ultimate grand plan" Oscar shook his head.

"Bro. Your mouth will put you in deep trouble one day" Cargo warned.

"Tsk. Whatever life throws at me, i'll take it head on. Like mount. Everest, i will stand firmly" Oscar continued with his boasts.

Cargo shook his head.

"Bro, you are beyond saving" saying this, he shoved the stack of cash he just got from Bill, into Oscar's arm.

"What are you doing?" Oscar frowned.

"Geez. Can't you tell?" Cargo slapped his temples.

"Hmph. You obviously trying to bribe me isn't it? you know i will beat up Bill so you are trying to bribe me not to right" Oscar smacked his lips as if he got it all right.

"But don't worry, i am actually the peace loving type, so i'll just reluctantly accept your bribe"

Although Oscar said this, he hurriedly shoved the money into his pockets before running off.

He was scared that Cargo would change his mind.

Just as Oscar was returning from the supplies room after discarding the cleaning kits, he suddenly noticed many students pointing at him while laughing scornfully.

"Guys! it's that clown Oscar!"

"So pathetic! he has the guts to strut around and crack jokes"

"Tsk. I wonder how he would react when he discovers his girlfriend is actually messing around with another guy"

Oscar cocked his ear when he heard the last sentence.

"Who said that?"

The murmuring students immediately went silent when they saw the frosty look on Oscar's face.

At that moment, a figure arrogantly walked out of the crowd, smirking contemptuously.

Who else if not Bill.

"Was it you?"

Snorting, Bill flung the expensive Ipad at him. Catching it, Oscar unconsciously looked at the screen.

Instantly, his eyes bulged at what he saw.

There was a picture of his girlfriend lying naked while a guy he was too familiar with leaned against her, taking the shot with a smug look.

To make matters worse, they were underneath a duvet.

Oscar trembled as he unconsciously dropped the Ipad.

"No! No!"

Like a mad dog, he grabbed the unsuspecting Bill.

"You photoshopped it didn't it you bastard? you hate me so you want to slander Laura to get back at me huh? that must be it! Laura would never do something like that!"

The way Oscar kept on screaming had everyone reeling in shock. Was this the lauded number one clown who treated life and everything as a joke?

It's just a girl cheating on you right? why's he taking it so serious.

Bill smirked when he saw Oscar's current facial expression. He felt immense satisfaction from within.

"He didn't photoshop any shit" a mocking voice rang.

The crowd parted open, revealing two figures; a male and female holding hands as they walked casually towards Oscar who swiftly recognized who they were.

"Laura!" he tried rushing towards the female, however a kick from the male sent him reeling to the ground.

"Are you stupid? how dare a smelly shit like you touch my girl huh?" Henry sniggered.

"What?!" Oscar felt his heart almost leap to his throat.

He glanced towards Laura as if seeking her confirmation. However all his hopes were crushed when he saw the type of look she gave him.

It was just like the way every other person who was a rich kid gave him. Like they were staring at a pile of shit!

However, Oscar still clung to the last shred of hope.

"Please tell me it's a lie babe!"

"Who's your babe? have poverty seeped into those fish brain of yours" Laura snapped rudely.

"This is interesting" Billy snickered inwardly.

"Did you really think we were really a thing. I admit that you are one hell of a funny guy and academically brilliant one at that. But so what? do you have money to manage me? my weekly perfume is over two thousand bucks. Even if you work tirelessly for a month, you can't fork out such a sum"

"But.. But i always try to provide whatever you want! Didn't you say you want that Iphone 12 at the phone shop? i've been working over time for the past five days. Give me two more days and i'll buy it for you!"

Everybody burst into laughter when they heard Oscar's words. Laura's cheeks flushed with embarrassment.

"Shut it! it's over between us okay? we are world's apart, our paths can never cross okay? you are way below me, so get that into your dumb brains"

As if to reinforce her words, she grabbed Henry and engaged him in a sensual french kiss.

Watching as Henry kissed his ex while grabbing her butts and coupled with the mocking laughter from the crowd of students, Oscar vomited blood out of anger and fainted.

What he didn't know was a drop of his blood fell on the medallion he wore. Strangely, the medallion absorbed the droplet of blood.
