Introduction

"Stop scaring the kids Darius" the Archmage spoke looking at the young looking elf, he was the one who addressed them earlier and he was the one who brought them here after giving them the test, he was the one they were more familiar with.

Nicholas was looking at the white beared elf, who seems too real to be a joke, the ordeal they just passed through made him realize that nothing happening now is a joke.

"Umm excuse me, we passed your test can we go home now, I don't want the scholarship again, I can't seem to get any signal here, please can you take me back home" Lily said with a sorry face, she looked like who was about to cry and the way she was pleading she wanted to go home was heart breaking.

"Kids calm down let me introduce myself and the people gathered around the table, before we begin" the Archmage said while stroking his beard.

"My name is Chandelier but you can call me Archmage, this is what am normally called, the old man who is a bit muscular over there is called high mage Gragtos" when the Archmage pointed towards the man called Gragtos he raised his hand and waved at the children.

"The mean looking elf who was just talking a while ago is called Darius" when Darius heard his introduction he only smiled menacely at the kids, who only looked away after seeing his face.

"The average looking lean man over there is Walker, he is mostly the strategist we have here, if you want to win a war you could ask him on how to win a war" Archmage Chandelier said with a smile, the lean mage who was introduced puffed his chest out only nodding his head towards the children.

"The tiger lady over there, who seemed like she would eat you raw is called Selina, I would recommend you don't get on her bad side" the beastman which was the tiger lady only growled a bit towards the Archmage but didn't say anything or made any move, she was just sitting there but the kids could feel an unspeakable pressure.

"Well next on the line is our beautiful Rosetta, she is the treasurer of the mage association she is easy going, has alot of suitors, but she is still single" the Archmage said while chuckling, these made the pressure lessen, the treasurer who looked like a fairy with light blue hair, beautiful blue eyes, with a wonderful smile, only nodded at the Archmage before nodding towards the kids, before sitting comfortably again.

"The quiet looking man over there is our youngest member, he hardly speaks but he has alot to say, he is called Morbuis" the Archmage stroked his beard while looking at Morbuis who only waved at the kids with a warm smile.

"Alright that's all of us, would all you start introducing yourselves before we continue, this should be the first time meeting" Archmage Chandelier said looking at the kids.

"To hell with the introductions, what I want to know is how did we get here? when can we leave? is this scholarship a sham or what?" Carter started spewing rubbish when given the opportunity, while the rest of the teenagers were of thesame thought, although they didn't agree with Carter manner of approach those were the questions that were still lingering in their mind.

"Silence" Archmage Chandelier said, the old kind man image was replaced with a frown, he wasn't exuding any pressure but the teenagers felt like a boulder was being pressed on them.

"I said make your introductions after that we would answer each questions you have for us, is that understood?" all the teenagers were quiet, they were all frightened, even the blabbering Carter stepped back out of fear.

"I said is that understood?" Archmage Chandelier repeated himself, this time the kids nodded their heads like chickens that were pecking on food.

"Alright we will start with the survivors and moved to those who died" After saying that the Archmage went back and sat down.

Nicholas cleared his throat before saying "My name is Nicholas, is a pleasure to meet you all" Nicholas said politely, with a clear face, the rest of the high mages nodded at his introduction.

"My name is Freya" Freya said straight to the point without adding anything or changing the emotion on her face, the people sitting down seemed to not mind.

"My name is Ivy and for your information am not pleased with what we went through back in the school" Ivy introduced herself and sounding her displeasure too, the mages only nodded at her.

"The name is Lily, pleasure to meet you all too" Lily said while bowing, she only wanted to go home and couldn't care less about the introduction, the mages only nodded too.

It was now the time for those who died to introduce them selves to everyone.

"Look here my name is Carter, and I don't like being referred to who died, as you can see am alive and well, I don't know if all of you are a secret cult but I want no part of it" Carter introduction was full of spiteful words, he just kept on blabbering until he saw that nobody was paying attention to him again before he stopped blabbering.

"My name is Derrick, truth be told I just want to see my mom" Derrick said in a very small voice that was hardly heard.

"Alright that's it for the introduction, is time to tell you everything and why all of you are here" Archmage Chandelier got up and said, with the friendly atmosphere, the frown on his face was gone and that kind smile was there now.
