The Curse Of the Black Diamond

BONDING WITH THE POWER

  After Mr.Norman left them, they noticed that it was getting really late and moved to their rooms ,arranged their stuffs and got to sleep. 

   Mr.Norman left them with guns and equipped the house with alarm systems and CCTV cameras such that they could protect themselves.Reece laid down on his bed feeling exhausted and sleepy, thinking about how his life would look like  cursed by the diamond. 

"What would life be without no wife and no family?"he asked himself as he lied down and fell asleep. At midnight the diamond began to glow as he had series of dreams which made him feel very uncomfortable and also a lot of voices of people screaming in his head. Dr.Manuel noticed the light in his room as his room was opposite Reece's and went to see what was going on. 

  When he opened the door, he saw Reece sweating profusely and the diamond on his chest glowing and tapped him on his shoulder saying,"Reece!,Reece!!,Wake up". Reece upon hearing Dr.Manuel's voice immediately woke up from his sleep. "What's going on Reece?, What did you see?"asked Dr.Manuel who was concerned to know what Reece was going through."I saw a lot of things I couldn't make out and many voices calling out for help."said Reece. Dr.Manuel noticed that the power had started taking action. "Try to focus on something that makes you feel peaceful and sleep. 

  Tomorrow morning we start noticing the powers and I teach you how to use it. I've studied it for some time so I should know how it works" said Dr. Manuel as he left Reece's room to his to go and sleep.

        Exactly at 6:00am,Reece stood at the door of Dr.Manuel knowing that in the next 5 minutes he would wake up to open his door. As soon as Dr. Manuel got out of his room he was surprised to see Reece at his doorstep."I was just about to

come to your room…." said Dr.Manuel as he was stopped by Reece, who finished his sentence saying"and check up on me to see how I'm reacting? Yeah I knew that already and that at this exact time you would be out. Sam would be out in a minute with a cup of coffee in hand" and it was so as he said. 

  They both starred at him in shock of his correct predictions and they asked how he knew what was going to happen and he told them that when he woke up, he had a vision and saw only that. Dr.Manuel said"I almost forgot you had the diamond and that you could see the future but you have to master it first.Go take your breakfast and after that we train".

     After they were done eating, they all sat in the living room and Dr.Manuel told him the notifications of the diamond and what it meant anytime it glowed. He said that anytime the diamond glowed on and off repeatedly,it meant that there was something the diamond wanted to show him and when it glowed and stayed on,it meant that someone was in trouble and needed help and the diamond would reveal to him where and when help was needed. 

 All he needed to say was "Diamond reveal" and everything would be shown to him but before the diamond would respond to him he would have to bond with it. Dr.Manuel told him to go down on his knees and meditate on the diamond and it's power and that once he's bonded with it, he would be able to access its power. 

Reece did as he said, went down on his knees, closed his eyes and began to meditate deeply and he saw the diamond in his vision suspending in the air as he grabbed it as he was doing this his whole body began to glow with the diamond and he felt the power within himself and when he opened his eyes he felt very powerful that not even a bullet could penetrate his body nor the sharpest blade cut him. 

  He was trained on his speed as Dr.Manuel created shoes with which he could move without his feet getting burnt. He was trained on every aspect of his power to get familiar with it as the days passed by and finally the two weeks of their isolation was up. 

 They got to know each other better during their stay together and made plans on how they were going to live when they returned.
