Mister Watkins almost chokes on his champagne, and the girls burst out with laughter.

"Marry one of my daughters?! That's just ridiculous! What job do you even have?"

"Well, sir, I am an under butler. I am being trained to take over from John Plummer as soon as he can't work again." Stanley says, and this highly irritates the Watkins family.

How dare someone like him show interest in their carefully raised girls?

"This is the most funny thing I have heard in a while!" Geneva, the oldest says.

"Let me ask you, Stanley, how many companies do you have?"

Stanley shrugs. "As of yesterday, none."

"How much is in your name?"

"I honestly haven't checked for the accurate number."

"And how many luxury cars do you own?"

Stanley stops and turns to John, before sighing. "The only means of transportation to my name is my old wheelchair!"

"I knew it!" Winnie snaps her finger. "This bastard is not just dirt poor! He is a cripple! How dare a cripple dare to say he wants to marry one of us!"

John is flabbergasted. He can't understand why Stanley would shoot himself in the foot like this.

If he wants to keep his identity hidden, and then also appear so poorly, none of the girls from the elite families would agree to marry him!

"Please, let's all be calm here. Stanley is joking, I'm sure he knows that you have your eyes on only the young Lord Snow."

"Exactly!" Sandra, another sister says. " we will ask Lord Snow to fire him once he comes to the party! This man has no single respect for women of our caliber!"

The Watkins father asks for him and John Plummer to go have some more drinks, but John doesn't want to give up on the Watkins daughters yet.

He knows that they are making the biggest mistake of their lives by rejecting Stanley, so in one last move, he decides to help the girls.

"Girls, listen, Lord Snow is going to be here very soon. Why don't you talk some more to young mas– I mean, Stanley Adkins. He has spent a lot of time with Lord Snow, and it would be like exactly speaking to him!"

He gives Stanley a stiff nod before walking away.

Stanley sighs as he reaches for a glass of champagne, but the oldest slaps his hand away.

"Don't you even dare to touch our expensive glasses!" She hiss.

"What? I'm not even allowed to wet my throat with a little champagne?" Stanley is stunned.

"Not when you are a poor butler like yourself!" Another jab at him. "You wouldn't have been allowed in here if it wasn't for John Plummer and Lord Snow!"

Sandra, is twirling a few strands of her hair around her finger. "So, tell us. What colour of hair does Lord Snow have?"

Stanley points to his dark curly hair. "About the same as mine."

"Colour of eyes?"

"Green." Stanley answers.

"Aren't your eyes green?" The little sister huffs.

"Yes," Stanley smiles. "We share those similarities."

"And how tall is he?" Geneva demands to know.

Stanley stops, pretending to think, but he already has his answers. "About six foot two. Same as me."

At this point, Winnie is just irritated. "Are you trying to compare yourself with Lord Snow? Is that supposed to be a joke?"

Stanley leans forward, so that he is staring deep into her eyes. "Why? Do you think that it would be absurd if he is someone like me?"

"He can't be someone like you!" Winnie shouts. "You are too poor!"

Stanley only smiles. He has gotten the answer that he wants.

The Watkins family didn't train their daughters properly, and now they will miss the chance for one of them to be married to the richest man in the world...

When John Plummer returns, he is hopeful and holding his breath that Stanley has made his choice of a woman, but Stanley just shakes his head in a subtle manner.

John exhales with disappointment. The Watkins family has been very friendly with the Snow family.

This would have been a good union of both families.

"Mister Watkins, I and my under butler will be on our way now. This has been a great party, and Lord Snow appreciates it."

Mister Watkins stomach drops. "What?! He is not going to show up?"

Before John Plummer can open his mouth to defend himself, the sisters are already throwing a tantrum.

"Lord Snow is canceling on us?!"

"But we sacrificed so much for this party!"

"I didn't eat for three days, just so that I could appear slimmer to him!"

Geneva's eyes grow angry with rage as she turns to Stanley. "It's the fault of this poor disabled cripple! He came here and wasted our time!"

The sisters gather around Stanley, raining their frustration on him in forms of insults.

"Useless cripple! You are the bad luck that prevented Lord Snow from showing up!"

"Look at him! The only job fit for you would be to clean latrines!"

"Yeah, let's hire him so that he can clean Grandma's bed pan everyday!"

They laugh heartily in mockery, not even their father can stop them from acting this way.

At this point, the music has stopped and all attention is turned to Stanley.

John is about to lose his mind because the humiliation will be too much for Stanley to bear, but what's this to compare to what he faced from Emerald and her family?

Stanley allows them to laugh and mock him all they want, and then he speaks. "Are you done?"

He was going to leave quietly, and keep his quest for a wife moving forward, but now he wants to teach these brats some lessons.

Right in the middle of the ballroom is displayed a beautiful ten feet painting.

It's a very popular painting, and it is the most expensive thing that the Watkins family owns.

It has been in the family for over a hundred years, and it's their most cherished possession.

This is the same painting that Stanley goes to, and points at fearlessly. "I want this painting!"

Murmurs goes through the crowd. This is the most ludicrous thing they've heard.

John's heart immediately tightens once he sees the terrible thing that Stanley wants to do to this family.

He rushes to beg Stanley to stop, but Mister Watkins is already by Stanley's side with a very angry expression.

"Have you lost your mind, boy? Do you know that painting is worth more than your entire lineage?"

"Oh, please," Stanley can't hold his laughter. "Don't say things that you are not sure of."

"Please, sir," John calmly begs. "Don't do this."

"How much is this painting?" Stanley ignores his servant and asks Mister Watkins, who snorts.

"It's priceless! I would never allow anyone to put a price on it, but it's well over five hundred million."

Stanley whistles. "That's just great. Because you are going to give it to me as a gift."

"A gift?!" Mister Watkins blows hot. "now, you are just being crazy!"

"You will give it to me right now, or else your shares are going to crash to the ground!"

John's face turns paler, and he feels his teeth gnashing.

"You've lost your mind, boy. I don't know who you think you are, but I will make sure that Lord Snow knows that he has a mad man working for him!"

"Samuel!" John calls out to Mister Watkins. "You better start begging now!"

Mister Watkins' face distorts with confusion. Why should he beg a poor cripple that has walked into his party?

Well, he will know soon, because his three phones start to blow up at the same time in his pockets.

This only means one thing. Something is happening with the Watkins empire.

He picks up the first call, and his spirit almost jumps out of his body.

"Sir, we don't know what happened! The companies' shares dropped to less than thirty percent! This has never happened before!"

The poor, frightened man didn't even have the time to register his impending fate before he drops to the ground. Franklin has his fingers pressed against his nose as he watches his brother's victim bleed into the expensive carpets. "I promised that you were going to spare him, brother, "Franklin calmly says. "That was before I knew that he was going to dump severed rotting hands all over my office floor!" President Sampson yells, before throwing the gun carelessly. "Find someone to clean this up, immediately!" He is about to walk out of the office when the telephone starts to ring, and this causes both men to stop. This particular telephone line is not given out of just anyone, except a few that are members of his private circle. "You should pick up, brother." Franklin nods. "I know tha

President Sampson is walking through the wings of the presidential Villa, a cigarette between his lips. It's now been twenty four hours since he sent out his men to put the fear of God into the anonymous Lord Snow, but he hasn't heard back from them. His brother, Franklin, walks in, slightly frowning to see how troubled his brother is. "What's the matter, brother?" He sits down, pouring himself a glass of scotch. "The boys I sent out, they are not back yet," he complains, hand under his chin. "I can't help but worry that something has happened." Franklin only laughs. "What bad can happen, brother? Have you forgotten that you are the President?" "So, you think that they must have captured that girl that refused to sign over the papers?" He huffs. "Better still, I think that they treated her so badly that no one is going to have the heart to go against you again. I'm sure that even the Lord Snow will soon call and beg you." This makes the President happy again, and he pours hi

Lauren is in her hospital bed, tight asleep in her bed after the full body checkup from the doctors. Stanley wouldn't have it any other way. Paris has refused to leave her side too, because she can't believe that Lauren almost died right in her presence. She wipes her tears with the back of her hands and looks at Seven. "I'm sorry, I should have done better to protect her." Seven laughs. "Paris, don't bother yourself over that. You are just a tiny woman, what could you have done against men with guns?" He pockets his phone before going to make sure that the drip connected to Lauren's arm is going just fine. Once he is sure, he nods. "Keep an eye on her, okay?" "No problem, sir." "If anyone, except the doctor, tries to force their way into this place, just let me know." He walks towards the door, but Paris holds his arm. "Those bad people that were taken away by the army? What's going to happen to them?" Seven smirks. "Paris, it's better you don't know." ******On another f

Immediately the men see Seven with the gun, they immediately cower and start to rush to the back. This is the same person whose picture was shown to them, and they were warned to avoid him, if possible, because he is dangerous. Once Lauren sees Seven, she drops her hands into her hands and starts to cry from relief. That breaks Seven's heart, and he immediately rushes to check her. "Lauren, are you fine?" He asks her. "Please, tell me that you are." She is terribly shaken, but she manages to nod, but he can't be deceived. He sees the small blood on her lower lip, and because he knows that all she is going to do is undermine her pain, he just turns to Paris, who is ever ready to spill. "It's that one on the ground!" She points. "He slapped her so hard because she refused to sign some papers!" As if on cue, the man starts to cough and slightly lifts his head. He is already pale because of how much he is bleeding out, but Seven won't allow that. There supposed to be a special p

Hearing that they have come for Lauren makes Roman's blood go cold immediately. He knows that they are not going to spare her even a little bit. Thank heavens that he told her to go up, and not come out till help comes. "Please, I beg you, this thing you are doing, Lord Snow won't like it very much," he begs. "Why don't you people calm down so that we can go to my office, and we can talk," he says, but the leader won't have any of it. Before Roman can even blink, the leader has ordered two men to go over and beat Roman with the butt of their guns and bats. They beat him till the employees hiding around are moved to the verge of tears. Yet, not one of them dares to take out their phone and call the police. These people in dark clothes didn't hide the fact that they came from the President! Of course the police will not be able to help them in this case, only their boss, Lord Snow... "Please, Morgan, tell me that you rejected the money! Tell me that this is all a joke!!!" Roman begs, but Morgan laughs in his face. "That's the easiest money I ever made in my life," Morgan boasts. "Of course I took it!" That's all that Roman needs to hear, he runs out of the office and straight into the elevator, his phone already in his left hand. He dials in Lauren's number as quickly as he can, and the moment he hers it ring and ring, while waiting for her to pick up, it's like torture for him. "Hello?" He sighs and shuts his eyes. "Thank God, Lauren." "I'm sorry, who is this?" "It's me, Roman Snow." "Oh my God, sir!" She gasps. "I'm sorry, I didn't even know that you had my number." "Please, Mrs Adkins, we have to skip the pleasantries immediately. Where are you?" It's such an odd question that Lauren is quiet for a few seconds. "I'm in my car, sir. I just got here from the mansion," He is already on the ground floor, and he is using the side exit that takes him t
