Right in the eyes of everyone, the Watkins family's net worth starts to drop to the bottom, the very least on the rank of the elite families!
Mister Watkins can't believe his eyes as the screen of his phone turns all red, showing the horrific plight that has suddenly befallen his shares. He crashes to his knees, gasping as he holds on to his chest. His terrified daughters rush to his side and try to comfort him, even though they don't understand the magnitude of the entire situation. "Daddy, what's the matter? Did you forget to take your medicine again?" He breathes heavily as he turns to John Plummer and Stanley, standing with expressionless faces. "Please, make it stop! I don't know who you are, but you are destroying my life, my family, and everything that I have worked so hard for!" But Stanley shrugs carelessly. Hasn't he been in terrible situations where rich people have shown him zero mercy or sympathy? Why should he take his foot off this man's neck because he has suddenly broken into sweat? John swallows a hard gulp and then uses a handkerchief to wipe some sweat from his face. He wishes that Samuel Watkins listened to him, maybe this wouldn't have happened. Seeing how much suffering that Mister Watkins has already been through, he gets closer to Stanley and clears his throat. "Young Master, do not be angry at me, but may I suggest that this is enough? I know that the entire Watkins family humiliated you, but don't take everything from this poor man." Stanley growls in defiance. "He and his daughters insulted me. Do you dare to tell me to let them go without a lesson?" Mister Watkins can't stand by and watch this get even worse, so he runs to the painting and then yanks it off the wall. The guests gasp in horror. What's he doing? Everyone knows that the painting is worth a lot of money, and it's the most priced possession of the Watkins family. This single painting has been in the family for more than a hundred years, and he is about to give it to this stranger that doesn't look like he is worth even a million dollars? "Daddy, what are you doing?!" Geneva holds her face in fright, but he doesn't listen. "Take it, please!" Mister Watkins pushes it to John Plummer. "Just... Stop what you are doing to my business, you mysterious man." At this point, Stanley smiles and then runs his hand over the protective glass on the painting. "Thank you for the lovely gift, Mister Watkins. I will make sure to hang it in my bedroom so that I can stare at it every morning." With that, Stanley takes his walking stick and starts to head to the exit. The music has stopped, and everyone is staring at him in amazement. It's at this point that Mrs Watkins appears from upstairs. She doesn't understand why the music has stopped, or why everyone is staring at a single person in the room. She grabs one of the servants and gives her a stern look. "What's happening at my party? Is the young Lord Snow here already?" "Oh, Mistress. It's even worse than that," the servant shakes her head and looks down. That's not a satisfying answer, so Mrs Watkins pushes past her and goes over to her husband and daughters to demand an answer, but they are too stunned to give any. Stanley is already in the car, and it's when John is getting into the front seat that Mrs Watkins runs up to him with a breathless haste. "Mister Plummer, please, wait!" She shouts. "I don't understand why you and your companion are leaving so early. You promised that the young Lord Snow is going to be here too," John Plummer gives her a sad smile and even places a kind hand on her shoulder. "Oh, Mrs Watkins, he was here." "What?" Her jaw slacks. "But we didn't get to meet him! We didn't even officially introduce him to our daughters!" "He met your daughters, Mrs Watkins, and he has decided that none of them is good enough to be his wife!" ******** The news of the disastrous event at the first party goes around New York like wild fire. The Watkins stocks are still on ground, and it doesn't help that all the snow family partnership with the family has been canceled. Rumours also say that Lord Snow rejected all of the Watkins daughters, but Mrs Watkins denies this vehemently through her publicist. Yet, the Watkins sisters have been shamefully put into a limousine in the middle of the night and sent to spend the rest of the summer in the countryside... Who is this mysterious man at the party? Sketches have been flying around, but no one has a clear enough picture to show that it's truly Stanley Adkins. John has not slept one bit since he saw how Stanley punished Samuel Watkins for his disrespect. He remembers how timid Stanley used to be when he was little, and he's scared that the boy has not outgrown it, but now he has nothing to fear. He will be able to lead the Snow empire to even greater heights. The enemies of the Snow family are so much, and the boy will need a heart of steel to handle all the pressure.... At ten o'clock sharp, he goes to gently knock on the door of Stanley's bedroom, but when he opens the door, the place is empty. "Young Master, where have you gone to?" He murmurs with a frown. His search around the house starts, and soon, he is glad to see Stanley in his father's former office. He is reading through the giant books that hold the history, and all the events that have ever happened in the snow empire. "Oh, Johnny the butler. You are just waking up." John takes a deep bow to show his Master respect. "Did you even sleep, sir? You are supposed to have at least eight hours of sleep." But Stanley snorts. "I have an empire to run, John. I can't keep sitting all day waiting for my memory to return." "Well, sir. We are very happy that you have regained the use of your legs. A little more wait and all your memories will be back." "Yes, John. You are right. I'm sure you are right all the time," Stanley slaps the giant book shut and casually leaves the room. John is right behind him, hands loosely clenched as he doesn't know how well Stanley is going to take what he has to say. "Um, sir, I was thinking maybe this is a good day for you to finally pay a visit to Snow headquarters. All of the staff are ready to meet you–" "No, not today. Tell them to continue working, they are not ready to see me." "But sir–" "John, are you questioning my judgement?" Stanley asks sharply, giving the old man a stare that sends a shudder down his spine. "Heavens forbid, sir!" John keeps his eyes on the ground. "I wouldn't dare to do such a thing. Even if I have a death wish." Stanley smiles and shakes his head. He is already so fond of John, even though his memory about the old man is so limited. "That reminds me, John. We need to find you an under butler. A real under butler." John's face immediately goes pale, and his eyes look here and there in confusion. Is Stanley going to fire him?!Latest Chapter

115. As soon as the president is able to once again breathe after that abominable smell, he takes out the gun that is kept in his desk, and he shoots the sole survivor soldier right in his head. The poor, frightened man didn't even have the time to register his impending fate before he drops to the ground. Franklin has his fingers pressed against his nose as he watches his brother's victim bleed into the expensive carpets. "I promised that you were going to spare him, brother, "Franklin calmly says. "That was before I knew that he was going to dump severed rotting hands all over my office floor!" President Sampson yells, before throwing the gun carelessly. "Find someone to clean this up, immediately!" He is about to walk out of the office when the telephone starts to ring, and this causes both men to stop. This particular telephone line is not given out of just anyone, except a few that are members of his private circle. "You should pick up, brother." Franklin nods. "I know tha

President Sampson is walking through the wings of the presidential Villa, a cigarette between his lips. It's now been twenty four hours since he sent out his men to put the fear of God into the anonymous Lord Snow, but he hasn't heard back from them. His brother, Franklin, walks in, slightly frowning to see how troubled his brother is. "What's the matter, brother?" He sits down, pouring himself a glass of scotch. "The boys I sent out, they are not back yet," he complains, hand under his chin. "I can't help but worry that something has happened." Franklin only laughs. "What bad can happen, brother? Have you forgotten that you are the President?" "So, you think that they must have captured that girl that refused to sign over the papers?" He huffs. "Better still, I think that they treated her so badly that no one is going to have the heart to go against you again. I'm sure that even the Lord Snow will soon call and beg you." This makes the President happy again, and he pours hi

Lauren is in her hospital bed, tight asleep in her bed after the full body checkup from the doctors. Stanley wouldn't have it any other way. Paris has refused to leave her side too, because she can't believe that Lauren almost died right in her presence. She wipes her tears with the back of her hands and looks at Seven. "I'm sorry, I should have done better to protect her." Seven laughs. "Paris, don't bother yourself over that. You are just a tiny woman, what could you have done against men with guns?" He pockets his phone before going to make sure that the drip connected to Lauren's arm is going just fine. Once he is sure, he nods. "Keep an eye on her, okay?" "No problem, sir." "If anyone, except the doctor, tries to force their way into this place, just let me know." He walks towards the door, but Paris holds his arm. "Those bad people that were taken away by the army? What's going to happen to them?" Seven smirks. "Paris, it's better you don't know." ******On another f

Immediately the men see Seven with the gun, they immediately cower and start to rush to the back. This is the same person whose picture was shown to them, and they were warned to avoid him, if possible, because he is dangerous. Once Lauren sees Seven, she drops her hands into her hands and starts to cry from relief. That breaks Seven's heart, and he immediately rushes to check her. "Lauren, are you fine?" He asks her. "Please, tell me that you are." She is terribly shaken, but she manages to nod, but he can't be deceived. He sees the small blood on her lower lip, and because he knows that all she is going to do is undermine her pain, he just turns to Paris, who is ever ready to spill. "It's that one on the ground!" She points. "He slapped her so hard because she refused to sign some papers!" As if on cue, the man starts to cough and slightly lifts his head. He is already pale because of how much he is bleeding out, but Seven won't allow that. There supposed to be a special p

Hearing that they have come for Lauren makes Roman's blood go cold immediately. He knows that they are not going to spare her even a little bit. Thank heavens that he told her to go up, and not come out till help comes. "Please, I beg you, this thing you are doing, Lord Snow won't like it very much," he begs. "Why don't you people calm down so that we can go to my office, and we can talk," he says, but the leader won't have any of it. Before Roman can even blink, the leader has ordered two men to go over and beat Roman with the butt of their guns and bats. They beat him till the employees hiding around are moved to the verge of tears. Yet, not one of them dares to take out their phone and call the police. These people in dark clothes didn't hide the fact that they came from the President! Of course the police will not be able to help them in this case, only their boss, Lord Snow... "Where is that bitch?!" The leader shouts. "We are not leaving this place without her!" Roman g

"Please, Morgan, tell me that you rejected the money! Tell me that this is all a joke!!!" Roman begs, but Morgan laughs in his face. "That's the easiest money I ever made in my life," Morgan boasts. "Of course I took it!" That's all that Roman needs to hear, he runs out of the office and straight into the elevator, his phone already in his left hand. He dials in Lauren's number as quickly as he can, and the moment he hers it ring and ring, while waiting for her to pick up, it's like torture for him. "Hello?" He sighs and shuts his eyes. "Thank God, Lauren." "I'm sorry, who is this?" "It's me, Roman Snow." "Oh my God, sir!" She gasps. "I'm sorry, I didn't even know that you had my number." "Please, Mrs Adkins, we have to skip the pleasantries immediately. Where are you?" It's such an odd question that Lauren is quiet for a few seconds. "I'm in my car, sir. I just got here from the mansion," He is already on the ground floor, and he is using the side exit that takes him t
