In a non-existent space filled with darkness, Logan looked around in surprise as he couldn't understand how he had come here.
"Since you've appeared here, that means you have the qualifications to inherit my inheritance and experiences!" A voice sounded, and immediately Logan turned sharply to look for the voice, but there was no one present. "Who are you?" Logan yelled as he looked around the void. "I am the Greatest Medical Emperor! Your Ancestor," the voice replied. Logan was quite bewildered; the name was rather domineering. Besides, he had never heard of anyone with that name, but before he could do anything, he directly woke up with a gasp and sucked in a cold breath. "Argh!" The next moment, Logan felt a wave of pain hit his brain. Information flowed into his head like a stream, shocking him. After a while, the pain stopped. Logan realized that he now knew all about medicine practices, talismans, cultivation, and martial arts. There was almost no illness that was not treatable. As long as he was there, he would be able to treat the disease. After a while, Logan snapped out of his thoughts and looked around. Much to his shock, his broken arms had been healed. The bruise Jake had inflicted on him had also disappeared. The only thing remaining was the bloodstains on his clothes, which showed he just fought. Also, the new knowledge he had just acquired. "Ring! Ring!" Logan's phone suddenly rang loudly, pulling him out of his thoughts. "Where the heck are you, Logan?" A roar came from the other end of the phone. Immediately, Logan answered the call. "I'm..." Logan stuttered, trying to think of a plausible excuse to give to the other party, his mentor, Luke, at the other end, but instead, he was cut off. "Come to the hospital right away. I need to see you," Luke commanded, and the call ended almost before Logan could say anything. Logan sighed, seeing that the call had ended. Having no other choice, he took a clean shirt, preparing to head back to the hospital. In no time, Logan got to the hospital. Getting there, he headed straight to his mentor's office, ignoring the strange look on the other interns' faces. This was not the first time they were staring at him that way, so he couldn't be bothered about them. Logan knew they were all jealous of him and wished to be in his position. After all, his mentor was one of the best doctors in the hospital. What's more, he would always favor Logan, preventing others from bullying him. Logan knew all of this, and that was why he was a little bit shocked when he heard Luke yell at him from the other end of the phone. That was the first time he would be yelled at, so he was also curious as to what had happened and what he had done wrong. Walking into the office, Logan looked at a man in his late fifties, dressed in casual attire, sitting on a chair while going through some files on the table. His expression was rigid as he used his hands to adjust the glasses, which were about to fall off. The office was not a big one. Apart from the table and chairs, a large cupboard by the side, and a tall iron-like stand where a stethoscope and a lab coat were hung, there was nothing else in the office. "Sir," Logan called after a while, seeing that Luke didn't notice his entry. "Logan," Luke raised his head to glance at Logan. Then he continued to do what he was doing. Logan smiled bitterly as he waited. He knew he had to wait for Luke to finish reading whatever he was reading; else, there was no way he was going to listen to him. "Take a look at this," Luke suddenly broke the silence, passing over a stack of documents to Logan. Collecting the documents, Logan froze upon seeing their contents. What the heck was this? "Why did you plagiarize Jake's medical plan?" Luke questioned, staring at Logan, who had a dark expression on his face. "Sir... I didn't do it..." Logan stuttered, trying to defend himself. "Then what the heck is that you're holding?" Luke snapped, seeing that Logan denied it. Logan smiled bitterly hearing this. The medical plan in his hands was the one he had submitted to his mentor. As to how it suddenly belonged to Jake, he had no idea, but he knew that something was off. "I swear, sir, I didn't steal Jake's medical plan," Logan tried to defend himself. But with the look on Luke's face, he knew there was nothing he could say that would make Luke agree. "I'm disappointed in you, Logan." Luke sighed, shaking his head and going back to whatever he was reading. Disappointment was written all over his face. Logan knew Luke was a man of few words, so there was no way he was going to say much. "Sir, you have to believe me; I didn't steal Jake's medical plan. This was originally mine." Logan pleaded, desperation all over his voice, his eyes red as his chest beat heavily. "As a punishment for what you've done..." Luke ignored Logan's pleas and stated. Logan sighed, listening to Luke. He could see the cold gaze and knew that the matter was not a light one. Something must have happened. Luke was not like the others and had always protected him. Also, with his status, it was easy for him to call the matter quits, but since Luke didn't do that, Logan realized that something was wrong somewhere. After all, this had never happened. Also, the one who knew him the best could be said to be his mentor. So at least, he had to believe him. He didn't know what had happened, but he could tell that Luke was trying to protect him. "As a punishment for your actions, Logan," Luke continued, once again, after a long while of silence. "You've been demoted," he added, his voice turning ice cold with each second. "Now get out of my office," Luke commanded, pointing at the door.Latest Chapter

Hearing this, Bruce's expression brightened and he quickly explained the situation.Hearing this, Logan frowned slightly shaking his head. Seemed like whatever the other party wanted, they couldn't wait anymore."Alright, first, let's start with your daughter and grandson," Logan stated pushing open the doors of the villa.Though the curse was more important, treating Scarlett and Edwin would be far better. Both of them had been injured and if he wanted to deal with the curse first, it would take some time.Though he would be able to treat them afterwards even if their best treatment window had passed, what if they died before them. The curse aim was to kill. So it was better to treat them first."Treat Scarlett and Edwin?" Bruce froze hearing Logan's words."Yes of course," Logan nodded, glancing at the old man."Or don't you want them treated?" He raised his brows,"I...""Here..." Logan couldn't be bothered to argue with the old man and threw him his ID.Seeing it, Bruce's eyes wid

Logan on the other hand also couldn't care less. He had a whole lot of other things he had to do. There was no way he would care about someone.
