*Few days before meeting Alastair*Cara watched as the man she was targeting made a pass toward a tavern. There weren't a lot of people outside at that time. Cara observed as someone brought light into the cell. From the shadow they cast, she was convinced they were tall, but when the person showed up, Cara saw something which she could probably describe as the most adorable person she had ever seen.He was as short as a dwarf or even shorter. He had bright red hair with red eyes. His skin was yellow and his nose and cheeks gave out a blush. His cheeks were plump and his mouth was small and pink. He looked like a grown-up baby but his most distinguishing feature was probably his fingernails which were pure gold.The man smiled as he approached them. Lavender.That was the first thing she could smell as she slowly opened her eyes. She let out a slight groan as her head still ached from the impact. She hoped no one would hit her head again. Her powers had saved her yet again but she still felt weak and powerless.She looked at her reflection in the mirror, her perfectly healed face staring right back at her. Cara stood all alone in the vast space. She turned around, but there was nothing there, no life, no sound. Nothing. Just emptiness.She wanted to go back to the palace. Lilith snarled and attacked Cara. She tried to fight the demon back but she had forgotten for a second that she was barely a sixteen-year-old child with no form of self-defense training. Cara found the other side of the ground slowly turning to the real world she had left behind and she was perturbed. Someone had pulled her out of the terrible nightmare she was having. She knew she could not feel her physical body but at that moment, on the other side, her spirit was back in her body.How did she know these things?
