Chapter Forty Four

When Mr. Kevin had called Keith back it was around three in the afternoon while he had been trying to sort out some paperwork and plan his schedule, something to get his mind off the boiling rage he could still feel from the pit of his belly.

“Good afternoon Keith. Sorry, I'm calling late.” Mr. Kevin said with a nervous chuckle.

Keith dropped the papers he had been holding and pushed up to his feet, reaching for the glass of wine lying at the center of his messy work table. “Afternoon, I believe you are calling because you have something important to say.”

Mr. Kevin gulped down nervously at the other end, he could still feel the anger coming from his boss's voice and he muttered a silent prayer that he wouldn't say anything to annoy him further. “Yes si_ I mean Keith. The purchase of the firm was a success and it's now yours.”
