Chapter Forty Six

“Dad, please listen to me,” Ingrid Junior pleaded from where he stood behind his dad watching him pack.

Mr. Ingrid paused, pushing everything on the table to the ground, “You idiot, this is all your fault, see what you have caused. Are you happy now?”

Ingrid Junior sighed in exhaustion, although he knew his decision to sell the firm was reckless he couldn't say he regretted the decision. It has always been something he planned and has always hated how his father imposed the firm on him.

“Think of it as an early retirement Dad,” he took a hesitant step forward, “You should have retired long ago if not for your stubbornness,’’ he added.

Mr. Ingrid met his son's gaze, his lips curled in annoyance, “Keep the hell shut you ingrate. After everything I've done for you, if you didn't want the firm I wasn't complaining about running it all by myself.”
