New Business

Ernest and Lewis walked closer to the man who seemed to have waited a long time. Lewis was enthusiastic about meeting his friend who said he could help Ernest.

"Excuse me, are you Bram my friend?" said Lewis, who immediately turned the man around and turned out to be Lewis's old friend.

"Lewis! Oh my God! How are you? Where have you been all this time, huh?" asked Bram while standing up and they hugged like a man.

"I'm busy with my family, Bram, and this introduces me, he's my only son Ernest. This is what I talked about yesterday on the phone. Ernest, say hello to Bram's uncle," Lewis told Ernest.

"Hello uncle, I'm Ernest! Nice to meet you," said Ernest politely.

"Geez, you're very handsome like your father when he was young," said Bram teasing Lewis.

"You could have, Bram. Uh, let's sit down! We're talking standing like this. Have you been waiting for a long time, Bram?" Lewis asked while pulling the chair to sit down followed by Ernest.

"Ah, no. I just arrived a few minutes ago. My coffee is still warm. Oh yes, do you want to eat something? Just order, let me pay," said Bram kindly.

"Oh, really? You haven't changed, Bram. Ernest, what do you want?" Lewis asked while opening the menu there.

"May I taste this chocolate cake? It looks good," Ernest asked Bram for permission.

"Haha, just order what you want. Don't hesitate!" said Bram, who was rewarded with a sweet smile. Bram has always felt sorry for Lewis. Let alone hear of the death of his wife who must have hit Lewis' life. In the past, Lewis fought hard to get Ernest's mother.

"Thank you, Bram. Then, I want to order this matcha cake and one expresso, what do you want Ernest?" Lewis asked.

"I'll just have chocolate cake and ice soda," Ernest asked.

Lewis raised his hand and the waitress came to see him. Lewis also said what he wanted to order. After the waitress leaves, Bram begins their conversation.

"All right, while waiting. What do we want to talk about, Lewis?" asked Bram while holding his arm.

"Oh, let Ernest explain," Lewis told Ernest.

"All right, so I want to make a restaurant business. But, I don't understand the cost and what it takes. Dad said, uncle can manage it. Is that right?" asked Ernest to make sure.

"Right, I happen to have an architect who can help you. For the cost of the restaurant, it is estimated that you will need about $20,000, the first step you have to do is to determine what the concept of the restaurant is, what the name of the restaurant is, what menu you should choose in your restaurant and you have the main menu.Choose a location that you think is strategic to get customers. And of course, when it's done, you have to find staff to make your restaurant work well," Bram explained.

"Twenty thousand dollars is just the initial cost? Not yet with kitchen needs and so on?" asked Ernest to make sure.

"That's right, it's only the initial cost of making the restaurant. For kitchen purposes and so on, it's certainly bigger than this and indeed a business requires a lot of money and determination, Er," said Bram

"Yes, that's right, therefore I want to pursue a career here. Ah well, when do we meet the architect of your acquaintance, uncle?" broke up Ernest in the end.

— The Game of Death

After a meeting with Bram, Ernest began to build his restaurant. Day after day, he and his father took turns checking the restaurant. Ernest couldn't even wait for the new business he was going to build.

"Ernest, is your restaurant finished tomorrow?" asked the father as Ernest looked up at the very clear and beautiful night sky today.

Ernest turned around and looked at his father, "Yes, it looks like the day after tomorrow we need to officially do a restaurant coronation and open a job opening," Ernest said.

"In that case, I will go to my friend to make a big poster about your restaurant, Ernest!" said the father with a very enthusiastic face.

"Hahaha, sure! Daddy's been so happy lately, I'm glad you've really changed," Ernest said happily.

"Of course I changed, son. I want to be a good father figure in your life. And yet again, I'm certainly happy to have a great son like you, son!" he said proudly.

" Thank God, I'm glad to hear that! " said Ernest happily.

Of course Ernest was happy, since he turned into a billionaire. His father has quit the dark world. He's not even torturing Ernest anymore. He's really excited about this change.

Yet, in the midst of that happiness. Suddenly, someone called him. Ernest rushed to pick up the call, which turned out to be from Hellen, his best friend.

"Hello?" said Ernest when he first picked up the call.

"Hello, Ernest! Where have you been? I am really worried about you because you are so hard to exchange news," said Hellen, sounding an anxious tone there that made Ernest's heart warm instantly.

"I'm fine, Hellen. What about you? Did the cafe get crowded after I left? Was my substitute man nice to you?" Ernest asked curiously.

"Oh, I'm so good! Of course the cafe is getting crowded like old times, I'm just getting off work now! He's nice to me, just a little annoying. Maybe I'm not used to him yet. Oh yeah, by the way, where do you have money, Er? I'm surprised at the news spread all over town about your restaurant!" said the unexpected Hellen.

"Oh, about that. How about we meet? I haven't seen you in a while, just say I miss you, haha. When are you free, Hellen?" asked Ernest nervously.

"Oh, did you miss me? I was really surprised by your treatment, Er! You are unexpected! I'm free tomorrow, where will we meet?" asked Hellen enthusiastically.

"Oh good then, I'll send you the address tomorrow. See you tomorrow, yes Hellen! Take a break for now, you must be very tired from working all day," said Ernest about to close the call.

"All right, Er! Thank you for your attention, bye!" said Hellen then the call was interrupted unilaterally.

After the call was cut off, Ernest looked closely at his phone. He smiled sweetly considering the memory of the first time he met Hellen. The first girl who made her fall in love and couldn't express it until now.
