Blade had the agent arrange for the officers to come from the police headquarters. They were meant to come even before the meeting between Jack, the lawyer, and Alexander commenced. But he didn't know what kept them late, and he tried to reach them, but their lines weren't connecting. That was the main reason he was bothered and couldn't say a thing while the meeting was going on, aside from the fact that he wasn't meant to say a word there.

“I presume you are Mr. Alexander?” With a shaking voice, Alexander replied, “Yes, I am.” He knew that if the lawyer who had more social status than him was arrested, he wouldn't be an exception.

“You are under arrest too,” he said as he dragged Barrister Harry, with the cuff already in his hand, towards Alexander.

“As you know, I am a legal practitioner; we can sort this out,” Barrister Harry said quickly, but the man who dragged him ignored him, not knowing they had their audio recorder on.

“You, go and search Alexander before putting that handcu
