Samantha's hanging answer made Harvey squint. There was something behind those words-doubt, or perhaps fear that still lingered in her mind. Harvey didn't press her further, just observed her expression calmly.

He let out a long breath, letting the silence settle in for a moment. "Be careful next time."

His tone remained even, but there was an implied warning in it. Samantha looked at him, as if she wanted to say something, but ended up just nodding slowly. The relief of being safe from danger was mixed with the anxiety that still left traces on her face.

"I take my leave, Miss Samantha Claymore," Harvey said with a slight bow of his head. The gesture was simple, but it still exuded authority. Without waiting for a reply, he turns around, his steps steady as he leaves the restaurant. The business is done-the perpetrator has been caught, and Samantha is safe.

However, Samantha does not immediately breathe a sigh of relief. Instead, as Harvey walks away, her chest feels even more tight.

Stan was silent for a moment. His eyes widened slightly before he quickly regained control of his expression. For a moment, the room was silent for both of them, but within seconds, a mocking smile returned to Stan's face. A small chuckle escaped his lips, light but full of condescension-the signature laugh of someone used to being at the social top. "That's impossible," he said with absolute conviction. He shook his head slowly, as if he was facing something ridiculous. His eyes glanced down, his lips slightly raised, as if he was holding back a laugh. "Really, I don't get it," she continues, before finally looking at Harvey again, this time with a sharper smile. "You have nothing to be ashamed of," he said, his voice sounding like a teacher counseling a lost student. "What you're saying is so far-fetched. There is no way such a thing could be real."
