Drowning in the ever plunging darkness, the turmoil of cursing and regret building up day in and day out ,it all changed in a flash, death was responsible, solemnly the hooded black superstitious being who walked randomly taking life whoever it pleased inconsiderate of the lives shattered and broken, this time it took that of a mother a five year old son, sorry, a 25 year old man. But the moment he rubbed it all, just let it slide, he unlocked a beast fueled by ever burning potential that till date has never looked back. With considerable Amount of IT knowledge, he capably founded his own company, guess what the company’s name is… hint it’s the most renowned and successful in the region…mm-hmm! The Kangs enterprise! The man behind it Mr. Billy, be Mr. Billy Kang.

Behind that success played an inevitable guide, A woman…Ever had a familiar saying well in this case that same applies perfectly…meet Mrs. Elizabeth, the Mrs. Elizabeth Kang. Of course with ever incoming troubles and hiccups each left, right, and center Billy needed someone capable of tightening his mind screws, and hold the rope blocking him, from the drowning abyss of insanity, madness and eternal guilt. After this start Billy was in need of staff, luckily Eliza turned up and her skills proved to be up to the task, but time proved she will be more than an employee. Having advised Billy on every step to take, her decision making was nothing greater than that of king Solomon. To think of it, the main reason the company was still firm to the core is because of her decisions… well mostly but hey she has credit. So, after their breakthrough in the top 10 most wealthy companies in the world magazine ranking at #4 they sealed the note and became the tigers. With the two, Billy as the head and muscle and Eliz as the emotional hospital the two cemented their name in the technological history as so it’s inevitable that any sane billionaire would be glad to invest in the Kang enterprise.

Mary, Mary Kang first born of the Kang’s family. More into business than tech she differed her parents taste in everything, from cars she was into Mercedes and Royce while her parents were more into Ferraris and Lamborghinis, color she liked black and more beige while her parents were into bright colors like orange and bright green explains why they literally colored everything around them in bright orange and luminescent green. But turns out this difference, her taste and way of thinking actually bettered the company, she made milestones and gave big breakthroughs like best buyers in the market, the right people to cut a deal with, maybe her decision was just like her mother’s that’s a thing that runs in the family. Thanks to her unique leadership skills and outside the box thinking her exposed street smarts she was made manager of their enterprise, after her university study in New Zealand and her 3 years experience she earned it, but even she didn’t does it really matter it’s the family business and only family will it be. So Billy at now 45, Elizabeth at 39, it’s safe to say they are retired though they pop by the office time to time, early retirement prosperous you may think but owning a wealthy unbeaten company retiring at 40 is too late for a fact, now Mary is in charge of the company but till her parents do die it will be officially hers. But this is just part of the family there is one more member.

Different from the rest, health wise impaired, but he wasn’t always like this, a runt strapped to a wheel chair his head leaning to the left drool flowing like a leaking tap, his left hand shrunk and wrinkled, not mentioning the flabby and almost no flesh, his finger bones could be visible through the skin the finger nails all malnourished this the faded creamy color, in short he was a disgusting sight. But the sad part was this was his own doing, the works of Freddie Kang, since his birth he felt the fiery hate for his sister because of her priority in the family not mentioning the wide education gap they differed in their grades despite their different classes. Billy knew it, Eliz knew it, Mary knew it, they all did but instead of talking no…instead of their son finding a way to adapt to the family’s way of life he sought they adapt to him. So at age 13 he got into drugs, started with some cigarettes here and there, alcohol, at 15 smoked his first weed and 18, sniffed his first cocaine. What a jumpstart in life right? An amateur teen who hates his family for reasons not worth a kid’s attention, petty issues he forced into big mountains like once he framed his sister Mary for weed selling and possession but luckily there were cameras and it back fired adding to the list, “Reasons I hate my sister.” So his hate built to obsession, obsession grew to vengeance, and malicious maniacal ideas like killing his sister actually started making sense especially when he was high on weed. No more high as f**k ideas time to make this shit real, so on October 15th, he corked the gun if he can’t love her sister then no one will, with the notion in mind of pulling the trigger on his own sister he stalked down the alley some streets from the company especially a common Weiner truck where Mary often bought some wieners. Black, Mercedes yap that’s her, time she goes back to hell! He cursed under his breath as he reached for the muzzle in his left hoodie pocket…left right…as he neared the car, closer and closer. Convinced he was within reach, he pulled out the gun and corked he aimed for the head knowing the car wasn’t bullet proof and time to seal the…blam! What the hell was that!... A truck, not any truck a heavy carrier milk truck, six wheeler to be exact. Gregory St. Kevin hospital, ward 15… “We are sorry he can’t move half of his body since he sustained sever brain damage…he has hemiplegia paralysis so his left side will be completely paralyzed.” Head doctor Guinea retorted disheartened. From that day life changed and this time for the worse and for a very, very long time. Billy bought a cheap wheelchair weeks after he was discharged and hired a personal nanny who is responsible for his needs and since he tried killing his favorite child Mary, say he didn’t consider him a son but just a random stranger with the same DNA as his. Now there is the whole family, a husband, wife, founders of a multimillion company, a daughter who runs this company better than the founders and a pathetic son who lives as a forgotten piece if scum who drools his mouth dry day in and day out, happy family don’t you think?

“Dad so there is this company that wants to work with us…” Mary paused stuffing her mouth with greasy tantalizing brown pork meat, sipping some orange juice making all the insides smoothie like and it flowed nicely and satisfactory. The addressed Billy was listening but since his mouth was busy ripping a meat chunk from a knee cap bone, he gave an eye glimpse signaling her to continue but as usual mum chipped in her normal troublesome topic.

“First of all when are you getting married!?” Eliz banged the dinner table slightly. It’s marriage it’s all about marriage!

He scanned the master bedroom and stared at the hanging chandelier, he sighed out heavily and rose slightly leaning on the bed’s edge. Sam was discharged early the previous day and his wife happily brought him home where he has slept for the past twelve hours. The white thick sheets were cozy on his feet while his vest warmed his chest, his wife however, was fully tucked for she had much lighter clothing and was still asleep. Calmly he brushed the covers over to his wife and placed his legs on the tiled floor, he walked to the window and pulled the curtains open. The orange yellow horizon was magnificent and the artistic brushes of the clouds was a beauty, Sam opened the windows and the immediate smooth cold breeze kissed his face and the melodies of the birds perked on his garden trees echoed in his drums. Amidst his state he was unaware of the ambush

“Meeting starts in one hour.” She reminded her boss, Tony switched to his wrist watch and noted the current time, 9:30 a.m, he murmured. Pushing his laptop to the side he pulled the day’s newspaper underneath the pile of arranged documents, he paused to wrap the sleeves of his shirt nearing his elbows and leaned on the desk to read the headlines. SUDDEN CHAOS, the bold capitalized heading screamed, below was a picture of a building surrounded by ambulances and fire trucks, the walls were charred and glimpses of press caught in the act casting the news, sipping his mid-morning coffee he flipped to the next page. Tony hadn’t been on the loop for the past three days, he didn’t watch the news or enter into any social platform to know just what was on everybody’s lips, however, Tony wasn’t desperate to get slapped by this bombshell. “I like staying afloat. She watched as she disappeared within the crowd before she called her cab. “Where to Miss?” the cab driver asked, “Kang’s enterprise.” She informed, the driver keyed in the coordinates in the GPS screen on the dashboard and he drove off. It took about an hour before she was at her company’s premises, after paying the cab driver his needed amount she began the walk inside the building. As her flats traversed the ground floor she greeted the receptionist with a fake smile as she headed for the elevator. Patiently she waited for the elevator doors to open, she had a lovely time with her girl pal Angel but now she was left to ponder her greatest fear. “Ding!”, the elevator doors opened, she walked in and the reflective side by side walls mirrored her reflection, she brushed her purse higher before clicking her floor number. A minute or so later the elevator doors closed and up it went with her inside. Ten minutes elapsed and she was settled in her office, placing her purse on the far edg

Alarms echoed inside the server room, nose tearing rings blasted the walls forcing those inside to exit the building, “Call Sam ASAP!” Rocky ordered. Smoke brewed on the far west of the building, people were still running out coughing, their eyes red and tears flowing. “The fire is from the server room.” Rocky stated, his wrists clipped his waist his elbows poked out, he walked left and right two step and a turn, his worries were evident and reasonable. The fire had managed to spread across the whole basement and somehow to the ground floor, smoke rose from the elevator and filled the reception area. The beautiful inviting arena was now a scene of soot and toxins, “Mr. Sam we have a situation.” The secretary informed. On the other side of the phone Sam placed his newspaper on the table, he wore his glasses and worriedly he asked, “What happened?”, “Sir its best you see for yourself.” The voice imposed. “I’m on my way.” Sam remarked ending the call, “Honey we have to go.” He ushered

After her meetup with Tony Abigail walked straight home thinking on whether she made the right call or not, however it was at the door did she realize she couldn’t find her keys. Normally the kyes were at the bottom of her purse after the tissues, napkins and other necessities, but today they weren’t there, desperate and stressed Abigail poured down the purse contents. She squatted with her legs closed and brushed over all her quantities, once, twice, she repeatedly brushed till she confronted the truth that she lost her keys. Affirmed of her suspicions she packed all that she poured back in and pulled out her phone, she went straight to her contacts and on the search bar she keyed the contact “Sis”, the named contact appeared which she clicked, she then placed the phone’s microphone piece on her ear as the call rang, rang, and rang.On the
