Somewhere outside the party, far in the dark parts of Sintril, a silhouette of men in suits can be seen guarding a warehouse. It couldn't be seen what was going on inside the warehouse, and it was almost like they were pillars there.

Inside the warehouse, Kristan Vance is seated there, and something is biting him a bit.

“So you are telling me that Eizo was taken down. I will not take a joke!”

He was looking at one of his men, it was like they were trying to pull a fast one on him, but then there was nothing going to be giving him the relief knowing that he was not going to be dealing with something like that, but it was not a joke.

The man in front of Kristan was shaking; he couldn't control his legs, looking at the tyrant in front of him. The mere thought of what he would do to him was something that would bother anyone, and it was not going to be easy to even look him in the eye.

“Sir, he was taken out, and there was no way for us to find out who it was that took him down. But I got reports from the people around that said it was the Prince of Ash…”

Kristan shot the man a cold look. He was not happy to hear the name that had the underworld in a chokehold for years, and it

It was not even easy for them to do anything.

“What in the world do you mean it was the Prince of Ash?” Vance got up from his seat, looking at the man in front of him, he couldn't help but feel a bit of rage for the man, and he was not trying to hide it from him.

The man was shaking to his core, looking at Kristan was not something that would be called normal for someone like him.

“He has been calm for three years now, and I know you dont want to hear this but I think we might have pissed him off and from the looks of things he is not—”

Gbam!

Kristan had put a bullet between the man’s eyes; his cold expression made it even scarier, and there was no way for anyone to understand why he did something like that.

He looked down at the dead man, and it could be seen inside the dead man’s skull. It was not fun to look at in any way, but then what made it funny was that the man was about to tell him something he couldn't do in the world of Kristan Vance. There was nothing he couldn't do, and if he was not able to do anything about it, then he would look for another way out of the equation.

“I don't know who told this idiot that saying this in front of me like this was a good idea, but I would love to say that the person has finally taken his life from him.” Kristan was cleaning the gun, looking down cold and determined to make everything stay in order; he loved it.

“Someone find me the name of the bastard riding with Lady Noelle, and I also want you to make sure that nothing is going to make me waste another bullet on a useless being.”

He walked to a table, taking a bottle of wine, making sure he poured himself a cup, and looking up.

“There has to be no mistakes, and someone please get rid of this filthy body!”

Back at the party, Silas and Philip were lost in conversation. For the first time in a while, he was talking to someone who would understand the kind of man he was.

“I don't know what these people think they are, but it is not in any way funny.” Silas was looking at the wealthy people of Sintril and how they were waiting for the man of the events, the main CEO of the Supernova industries, to show up and make an entrance.

Philip smiled as he shook his head. It was not easy in any way for them to have something like that.

“They only care about themselves, and nothing is going to change it.”

He was looking at the men at the party, and there was something odd going on in his head.

“You see, all of them have to be something that no one would even expect to be someone this weak or stupid, but then there is no way for anyone to even hint at it, and it will keep going far.”

Silas smiled as he looked down; he could see it too. The flaw of the wealthy and the way they view everyone as a bug that should be beneath their boots.

“I don't know how on earth anyone can live that way for long.” He turned to Philip and made a weird gesture with his hand. “I would be trying to break free almost immediately, but there is no way I am going to be able to break out that fast.”

Both of them broke out into laughter; it was not even something that anyone would understand. Suddenly, the lights at the party changed, directing to the stage.

Everyone turned to see what was going on, and the host of the party stepped out with a smile on his face.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, I want to let you know that the main event of tonight is about to begin.”

The people there began clapping their hands, all of them were eager to see the man behind the company, and they wanted to announce the new partners.

“Please help me welcome the man who has been overseeing the huge mega-trillion-dollar company and the man who has all the rights to do what he wants tonight!”

The host turned to the other side, smiling as he stretched his hand out.

“Please, I would love it if you jammed those hands for Mr. Jacob Hilton!”

A tall, well-built man walked out of the other side. He had a smile on his face as he went to the other part of the stage. The party thundered with the sound of the ovation.

Silas was standing there with a smile on his face. He took a sip from his cup before turning back to the stage, muttering. “It’s showtime.”

The entire party was filled with people who didn't seem to care who the next person was; they were all there for something, and that thing was to ensure they would have a chance to partner with Supernova Industries. However, only a few out of the many would be lucky enough to get picked, and in situations like this, it was rare. Silas just stood there looking around like he was looking at a freaking game show, and he was not in any way impressed with what he was seeing. Austin noticed the kind of look on Silas’s face, and he knew that there was something a bit off about it, and there was something bound to happen there at the party. “So what is on your mind?” Austin popped the question that made Silas slowly turn his head to him. The look on his face showed that there was little joy in his system being at the party, and he was not even trying to hide it in any way. “You haven't done much since Ms. Prince left. I don't know why, but it feels like you don't even want to be here.” A

“How on earth did Silas get his hands on the Eon Diamond?” Hillary was looking at Lauren, but her daughter’s attention was fixed on Silas. Lauren stared at who used to be by her side, now casually handing a gift to another woman in front of her. “Silas, what is the meaning of this?” Lauren managed to force some words out of her mouth; she was looking at him hang the necklace on Noelle’s neck. Silas, surprised to hear his name being called like that, turned to look at Lauren. “Is anything the problem, Ms. Forrest?” He was looking at her, but instead of the soft, calm, loving gaze Lauren was used to, all she got was a distant, cold stare; it was empty and void of anything that looked like emotion. “What do you think you are doing now?!” She moved close to them, looking at Silas with what looked like the sound of pity. “I know you must think that I would take you back if you do all of this, but the only thing you are going to do is make things worse, so I would advise that—” “And

Griffin Peak Hotel… In the executive suite, Silas could be seen getting ready for something. He wore a dashing blue suit; it was well fitted. He pulled out boots from a rack, a smile on his face. The doors of the suite opened, and Austin was seen standing there with a puzzled look on his face, dressed in a brown suit, two diamond earrings on, and a clearly priceless watch on his right hand.Silas turned to look at Austin; he smiled when he saw him there. “Good to see you here.” He said he was happy to see him there that early. “You are one heck of a man.” Austin walked in, moving to the seat there as he sat down. “You saved a life yesterday, then decided to take a life hours later.”Austin balanced on the seat, looking at Silas. “You managed to take Eizo off the map; what made you do it?” Silas turned to look at his friend. “Filth like him shouldn't be allowed to be in the city; he ruins it with his nature.” Austin was smiling; he threw his head back with a smile. “You should se

Silas joined Noelle in her own car as they were driving to the Prince family mansion. Silas was oddly calm; it wasn't like him to just accept the date like that, but he kept a clear mind. “I wonder what made you not say a thing while I was working on your brothers.” Silas broke the awkward silence. He was looking at Noelle, trying to know what it was that made her even look at him like he was going to be able to do something about the poison when it wasn't even certain if he would be able to save them. Noelle turned to Silas, her facial expression changed, and she was smiling. “Well, one of the household matriarchs said that if you didn't know what was wrong with them, then there was bound to be no cure, and I have never seen her go wrong in my life, so I was going to make sure that I followed her words.” Silas was surprised to hear all that, a warm smile on his face as he turned out the window. “I didn't know someone had that much faith in me.” He was at ease, trying to put his

Johnson couldn't move; he was looking at Silas. He knew nothing was going to save him from what was coming his way. Noelle walked closer to Johnson. Her expression was dark, and the rage in her eyes could be seen. “Mr. Johnson, I believe you can explain yourself?” Johnson was looking at them; it wasn't clear what he was expected to say, but then he turned to Silas, and his anger boiled more. Silas raised his brow, looking at the man in front of him; he wasn't in the mood to entertain rubbish. “I believe you were asked a question so I want to know why you thought it would be a good—” “It was because you took everything from me!” Johnson shot out; he was looking at Silas with pure rage. “I am a medical student, with high majors and all the required documents, but then I am overshadowed by a genius who seems to work miracles!” Silas was looking at Johnson; the correct set of words couldn't come out of his mouth at the moment. “I wanted to make sure that one patient would be remov
