Johnson couldn't move; he was looking at Silas. He knew nothing was going to save him from what was coming his way.
Noelle walked closer to Johnson. Her expression was dark, and the rage in her eyes could be seen. “Mr. Johnson, I believe you can explain yourself?” Johnson was looking at them; it wasn't clear what he was expected to say, but then he turned to Silas, and his anger boiled more. Silas raised his brow, looking at the man in front of him; he wasn't in the mood to entertain rubbish. “I believe you were asked a question so I want to know why you thought it would be a good—” “It was because you took everything from me!” Johnson shot out; he was looking at Silas with pure rage. “I am a medical student, with high majors and all the required documents, but then I am overshadowed by a genius who seems to work miracles!” Silas was looking at Johnson; the correct set of words couldn't come out of his mouth at the moment. “I wanted to make sure that one patient would be removed from this clinic and you would lose your reputation!” Johnson continued; his mind was clouded with rage, and he wasn't going to be stopping there. “So you decided to use our siblings as the test rats for your plan?” Noelle spoke up; she glared at the man. “Such a disgusting man, I will make sure that there is no cell in Sintril going to let you go anytime from now!” Noelle snapped her finger, and the two guards walked to Johnson. They picked him up like he was some sort of prop. Johnson was shaking when he understood the fate that awaited him. He put his hands together to plead with Noelle. “Miss Prince, I didn't know what I was doing, so please don't do something this terrible to me.” “Get him out of here!” Noelle ordered, and the guards carried the man out of the clinic; his cries could be heard as he was being pulled away. Noelle turned to Silas, and she could see the look on his face. “I am so sorry about all this.” She wanted to say something to see if it would look like he would even talk to her. Silas smiled as he turned to her, “It is alright, Miss Prince; men like him need to be exposed. Who knows what he would have done to get me down?” Noelle smiled when she saw that he wasn't even bothered by the man’s arrest. It was then that Noelle had a good look at the man who saved her brothers. He was not just tall; he was built like a demigod, the details of his muscles showing on his clothes. “Uhm, Mr. Silas…” Noelle called out. Silas turned to look at the lady; he didn't say a word. “So you see, there is this party happening tomorrow. The SuperNova Industries CEO is holding a party, and I was invited along with my siblings, but I don't seem to have a date.” Silas raised one of his brows as he looked at her. “So is this what I think it is?” He had a smirk on his face as he looked at Noelle. The smirk on his face prompted Noelle’s face to turn bright red. “Well, yes. I want to have you there as a plus one so I wouldn't be so alone, but if you don't want to, we can…” “I will go with you…” Silas smiled, looking at Noelle; he could see the smile on her face. “Alright, I will send for a car to come pick you up, or can you make it there by yourself?” She asked, looking at him, trying to see if she would see what was going on in his head. “I should be able to make it there by myself.” Silas smiled; he took Noelle’s hand and kissed her palm. “I will see you there, Miss Prince.” Noelle smiled as she turned to look at her sister and the twins. “They would be fine; just make sure that you don't put much stress on them.” Silas smiled as he watched the family. He was about to speak again when his phone began ringing. He looked down to see an odd caller ID. He turned away to answer the call; the look on his face had changed, and it wasn't even clear what was going on. “Hello…” “Hello, Silas, please don't hang up.” Silas’s expression darkened more; he was looking out the window. “So why are you calling me?” He wasn't trying to keep the call going. “Please, it has been 11 years since the feud. We want you back home; we can still fix—” “Fix what exactly?” Silas cut the lady off; he sounded sour. “I was thrown out of that house when I was still a boy, and all of you said the same thing. I was not spared even when I pleaded with all of you.” “Silas, we know we were wrong. Please don't let this ruin our family like this.” Silas smiled as he looked at the phone. “If it were the boy who was sent out of the house, then I would have come back without a second thought.” With that, Silas ended the call. He was looking out the window, and he was trying to put his head in order. He remembered the twins he had saved; his mind went to the poison he had managed to stop. ‘The main question is, who on earth in their right senses would even think of making kids suffer this much?’ He was looking out the window as the thoughts kept coming to his mind. “Uhm, Mr. Silas…” Silas broke from his train of thought, turning back to see Noelle still there with a smile on her face. “Yes?” She spoke up, almost like she was having a hard time looking at Silas. “My sister said that our family would love it if you would join us for dinner if you don't mind.” “Now?” Silas looked around as he examined himself. “I believe I am not in my best attire to—” “Oh, please, you look good.” Noelle smiled; she was not going to let Silas say no to the offer. A bit surprised, he didn't even want to say anything that would look like him saying no to the nice woman in front of him. “Alright, shall we?” Silas smiled, raising his hand; Noelle smiled as she took his hand.

“How on earth did Silas get his hands on the Eon Diamond?” Hillary was looking at Lauren, but her daughter’s attention was fixed on Silas. Lauren stared at who used to be by her side, now casually handing a gift to another woman in front of her. “Silas, what is the meaning of this?” Lauren managed to force some words out of her mouth; she was looking at him hang the necklace on Noelle’s neck. Silas, surprised to hear his name being called like that, turned to look at Lauren. “Is anything the problem, Ms. Forrest?” He was looking at her, but instead of the soft, calm, loving gaze Lauren was used to, all she got was a distant, cold stare; it was empty and void of anything that looked like emotion. “What do you think you are doing now?!” She moved close to them, looking at Silas with what looked like the sound of pity. “I know you must think that I would take you back if you do all of this, but the only thing you are going to do is make things worse, so I would advise that—” “And

Griffin Peak Hotel… In the executive suite, Silas could be seen getting ready for something. He wore a dashing blue suit; it was well fitted. He pulled out boots from a rack, a smile on his face. The doors of the suite opened, and Austin was seen standing there with a puzzled look on his face, dressed in a brown suit, two diamond earrings on, and a clearly priceless watch on his right hand.Silas turned to look at Austin; he smiled when he saw him there. “Good to see you here.” He said he was happy to see him there that early. “You are one heck of a man.” Austin walked in, moving to the seat there as he sat down. “You saved a life yesterday, then decided to take a life hours later.”Austin balanced on the seat, looking at Silas. “You managed to take Eizo off the map; what made you do it?” Silas turned to look at his friend. “Filth like him shouldn't be allowed to be in the city; he ruins it with his nature.” Austin was smiling; he threw his head back with a smile. “You should se

Silas joined Noelle in her own car as they were driving to the Prince family mansion. Silas was oddly calm; it wasn't like him to just accept the date like that, but he kept a clear mind. “I wonder what made you not say a thing while I was working on your brothers.” Silas broke the awkward silence. He was looking at Noelle, trying to know what it was that made her even look at him like he was going to be able to do something about the poison when it wasn't even certain if he would be able to save them. Noelle turned to Silas, her facial expression changed, and she was smiling. “Well, one of the household matriarchs said that if you didn't know what was wrong with them, then there was bound to be no cure, and I have never seen her go wrong in my life, so I was going to make sure that I followed her words.” Silas was surprised to hear all that, a warm smile on his face as he turned out the window. “I didn't know someone had that much faith in me.” He was at ease, trying to put his

Silas turned to the children; his eyes were closed, almost like he was praying. His hands were by his side— no one knew what he was doing, but they could see that he was up to something. The moment he opened his eyes, they had a jade glow, but it was clear that no one could notice it. He turned to the boys in front of him and began the examination. His eyes went through their body suddenly, he paused when he spotted something on their neck—‘Black veins.’Silas touched the vein, and he could feel that there was something off about the vein and the way it was on both their necks. ‘Since when did this get to Sintril?’ Silas could recognize what was making the children sick. He took a scalpel, and he made a small cut on both their arms. The brown-haired girl was uneasy watching them; she didn't know what Silas was doing or how he was going to help the twins. “Sister, I don’t know how this man is going to be able to save them. He is acting like a madman.” She was looking at the red-h

Silas threw the phone to the side, placing his head back on the chair. He didn’t say a word; it wasn’t what anyone would want to imagine. “Should I sink them?” Austin muttered; he was looking at his phone. “You know, it’s one word, and I will make sure that the Forrest family will understand what role you played in their lives.” Austin was looking at Silas; his face held nothing like a grudge. “No, leave them.” Silas didn't want anything that would make him even think of Lauren and her family. “I will let fate handle her, and you know there is no way for her to walk away from it for long.” He had a calm face; it was like he had erased her from his mind. Austin smiled; he turned to his phone. His brows raised when he looked at what was in front of him. “Well, if you were not going to do anything, then just know she is about to be hit hard by the Holt family; news spreads fast— even when the Prince of Ash is no longer protecting them.” Silas rolled his eyes; he looked out the wi
