Silas turned to the children; his eyes were closed, almost like he was praying. His hands were by his side— no one knew what he was doing, but they could see that he was up to something.
The moment he opened his eyes, they had a jade glow, but it was clear that no one could notice it. He turned to the boys in front of him and began the examination. His eyes went through their body suddenly, he paused when he spotted something on their neck—‘Black veins.’ Silas touched the vein, and he could feel that there was something off about the vein and the way it was on both their necks. ‘Since when did this get to Sintril?’ Silas could recognize what was making the children sick. He took a scalpel, and he made a small cut on both their arms. The brown-haired girl was uneasy watching them; she didn't know what Silas was doing or how he was going to help the twins. “Sister, I don’t know how this man is going to be able to save them. He is acting like a madman.” She was looking at the red-haired lady. Johnson uneasily turned to the sisters; he had a weird smile on his face. “Listen to your sister, please, Miss—” “We will give him a chance; after all, he has his life at stake here.” The red-haired lady smiled at her sister. She turned to Johnson. “Now, you, Mr. Johnson, why the rush? Don't tell me you're scared....” Johnson smiled as he turned to look at Silas and the children. “Me, scared? There is no way I would be scared of anything.” The red-haired woman turned back to Silas. “Fine then, we will wait.” Silas had drawn blood from the twins; he was looking at them. He took something that looked more like a pill and broke it into the cuts he made. His eyes were still glowing; it was like he was waiting for something. Suddenly, the black veins appeared everywhere on the children’s bodies. They got paler as they slowly started convulsing. The brown-haired girl started panicking as she held her sister. “He's killing them!” “Young Mistress, you shouldn't let this madman continue with what he is doing; he will kill the boys,” Johnson spoke up; he was trying to see if he would get something to happen. The red-haired lady was looking at Silas; he wasn't fazed, not even one bit, and he was still working on the children. So she wasn't going to panic or risk cutting things halfway. “Let’s give him time.” Back with Silas, he was looking at the children, and a faint smile could be seen on his face. ‘What sick animal did this to children?’ He turned to Rose, who was standing there with his bag; he opened his palm. She brought out a small case and handed it to him. Silas opened it and brought out 14 crystal acu-needles. Without wasting time, he placed them on different points on the children’s bodies. Johnson scoffed when he saw what Silas was doing; he didn't know what he would call it. “Why don't you stop this already and give up, Silas? Those kids are going to die!” He said. Silas paid no heed to the man; he was still looking at the children. He placed the last four needles on their bodies, looking at them. Almost like a miracle, the black veins began fading, and the children’s pale skin began turning back to normal. The black blood seen in the vein began flowing out of the cuts Silas had made. Silas took two shots from the box; there was a vial marked there where he took something and injected it into their bodies one by one. Silas stood still, looking at the children, his focus on them since they hadn't made a noise. Johnson had a smile on his face; he didn't want to show his happiness, knowing that he had won. “I told you, Silas, let them take those children to the hospital, but you decided that you would—” Suddenly, one of the twins let out a sneeze, and the other followed with a cough. Silas had a smile on his face, looking at the children, slowly turning to the people behind him. “They will be fine; they are currently out of danger.” Johnson was shaking; his body couldn't control itself. ‘How did he heal them?’ Fear had consumed him; there was no way anyone would have told him that Silas was going to be able to save the kids. Silas took out the acu-pins and placed them back in the box. “Rose, the moment they open their eyes. Please give them vitamin supplements and make sure they have something sweet to eat. That nasty poison leaves a bitter taste in the victims' mouths. Since they are kids, I wouldn't want them to suffer.” He smiled as he looked at Rose; the young lady nodded her head. Silas turned to the sisters as he walked closer. “Did you say poison?” The brown-haired sister asked; she stared at Silas. Silas nodded his head. “Yes, it is a bioweapon, an illegal poison made here in our beloved continent of Kaguna, designed to destroy one’s body slowly. It only got to this level because of their age; older people like us would have died silently.” He smiled as he looked at the brown-haired girl; the young lady was flustered and embarrassed because of the way she had yelled at Silas earlier. “I am so sorry for my attitude; I was only worried about the twins.” Silas smiled as he bowed his head. “I understand; anyone would be worried when they see their loved one close to death’s door.” He turned to the red-haired lady, who had a smile on her face. “Mr. Silas, I knew I was intrigued when I saw your unwavering composure.” She smiled as she stretched out her hand. Silas took the hand; he kissed it slightly. “Well, it is not professional for someone like me to panic in situations like this. Ms—” “Prince, Noelle Prince.” She smiled. Silas was surprised; he looked at her, then at her sister. “I wonder why the great Prince Dynasty decided to come to this clinic instead of a hospital.” Noelle let out a sigh; she turned to her sister. Before turning back to Silas. “Someone close to us said we should bring them here.” Silas nodded; he didn't know who it was, but he clearly knew the person knew him well enough to tell them to come to his clinic. “Well, whoever it was has a good heart. He saved those kids from—” Silas’s words were cut short when he noticed that Johnson was trying to slip away through all the noise. “That wasn't the deal, Mr. Johnson.” He smiled, causing Noelle and her sister to turn. Johnson paused in his tracks; he was sweating. He forced on a smile, trying to make sure that he wouldn't let them see him nervous. “I was just leaving; there was no need for me to remain here after all this.” He stuttered. “C’mon, Silas, don't you think it is a bit much to have me locked up for something that small?” Silas nodded; he was looking at Johnson with a smile on his face. “I know, but you see, the main reason why I wanted to have you locked up isn't because you called me a fraud. I know you have been bitter since I was given this clinic, and you have been looking for ways to make sure I would be thrown under the bus.” Johnson didn't want him to finish; he raised his hand, trying to speak. “That isn't the—” “I know, I know. But if you were so petty as to inject children with a dosage that their little fragile bodies couldn't handle, then. Heaven knows what you are ready to do to an adult to make sure you prove a point.” Noelle and her sister turned to Johnson; they were shocked to hear that. “He did what?!” Both said in unison. Johnson swallowed hard, his body drenched in sweat. “What did you think I wouldn't notice?” Silas had a villainous smile on his face. “Come on, even you should learn to hide the empty vial after use.” Silas pointed to something on the floor. Johnson looked at the vial; he couldn't stop shaking as he turned to look at Silas. “Now, I would want to know.” Silas’s tone changed; he sounded scarier and more serious. “What made you think it would be a good idea to play with the lives of children?”

Lauren watched as Silas climbed the stage, a smile on his face and a determined look that could pierce the heart of the weak. “How is this possible?” Hilary asked; she was looking at Silas, trying to ponder how it was possible for the man she had been seeing for almost the past three years to do almost nothing but serve her daughter like a dog. “He is nobody, so how on earth are they calling him to the stage like that?” Hillary turned to Lauren; she was not sure what was going on anymore. “Tell me this is a bad dream, Mother. Please tell me I am not seeing that man climb that stage.” Lauren was looking at Silas; she was not sure how she was going to be able to believe what she was looking at and how it was even possible in any way that he was able to get to that level without them even knowing, and there was no way for them to get wind of it on time. “It can't be; there has to be something we aren't seeing here, and we need to get it run through immediately.” Hillary was as shoc

The party had come to life, with Jacob Hilton on stage, and everyone was looking at him. Smiling, the man took the stage with a smile on his face as he gazed into the crowd. “I didn’t expect the whole of Sintril to respond to something like this.” He chuckled, and the crowd gave him an obvious fake response with chuckles that filled the air. “Now, without wasting your time, I am happy to announce that the founder of the SuperNova industries has something installed for all of us.” He brought out a smile on his face. “This is going to be one of the best things that has happened to us in years. We will be choosing two companies to work with after tonight, making them partners at our huge chain of industries.” Everyone was excited to hear that there was a good chance. Silas stood there looking at the people as they chirped around like birds trying to build their nest, and he was not trying to put himself in the middle of anything yet. “You don’t seem to be impressed,” A voice ra

Somewhere outside the party, far in the dark parts of Sintril, a silhouette of men in suits can be seen guarding a warehouse. It couldn't be seen what was going on inside the warehouse, and it was almost like they were pillars there. Inside the warehouse, Kristan Vance is seated there, and something is biting him a bit. “So you are telling me that Eizo was taken down. I will not take a joke!” He was looking at one of his men, it was like they were trying to pull a fast one on him, but then there was nothing going to be giving him the relief knowing that he was not going to be dealing with something like that, but it was not a joke. The man in front of Kristan was shaking; he couldn't control his legs, looking at the tyrant in front of him. The mere thought of what he would do to him was something that would bother anyone, and it was not going to be easy to even look him in the eye. “Sir, he was taken out, and there was no way for us to find out who it was that took him down. But

The entire party was filled with people who didn't seem to care who the next person was; they were all there for something, and that thing was to ensure they would have a chance to partner with Supernova Industries. However, only a few out of the many would be lucky enough to get picked, and in situations like this, it was rare. Silas just stood there looking around like he was looking at a freaking game show, and he was not in any way impressed with what he was seeing. Austin noticed the kind of look on Silas’s face, and he knew that there was something a bit off about it, and there was something bound to happen there at the party. “So what is on your mind?” Austin popped the question that made Silas slowly turn his head to him. The look on his face showed that there was little joy in his system being at the party, and he was not even trying to hide it in any way. “You haven't done much since Ms. Prince left. I don't know why, but it feels like you don't even want to be here.” A

“How on earth did Silas get his hands on the Eon Diamond?” Hillary was looking at Lauren, but her daughter’s attention was fixed on Silas. Lauren stared at who used to be by her side, now casually handing a gift to another woman in front of her. “Silas, what is the meaning of this?” Lauren managed to force some words out of her mouth; she was looking at him hang the necklace on Noelle’s neck. Silas, surprised to hear his name being called like that, turned to look at Lauren. “Is anything the problem, Ms. Forrest?” He was looking at her, but instead of the soft, calm, loving gaze Lauren was used to, all she got was a distant, cold stare; it was empty and void of anything that looked like emotion. “What do you think you are doing now?!” She moved close to them, looking at Silas with what looked like the sound of pity. “I know you must think that I would take you back if you do all of this, but the only thing you are going to do is make things worse, so I would advise that—” “And

Griffin Peak Hotel… In the executive suite, Silas could be seen getting ready for something. He wore a dashing blue suit; it was well fitted. He pulled out boots from a rack, a smile on his face. The doors of the suite opened, and Austin was seen standing there with a puzzled look on his face, dressed in a brown suit, two diamond earrings on, and a clearly priceless watch on his right hand.Silas turned to look at Austin; he smiled when he saw him there. “Good to see you here.” He said he was happy to see him there that early. “You are one heck of a man.” Austin walked in, moving to the seat there as he sat down. “You saved a life yesterday, then decided to take a life hours later.”Austin balanced on the seat, looking at Silas. “You managed to take Eizo off the map; what made you do it?” Silas turned to look at his friend. “Filth like him shouldn't be allowed to be in the city; he ruins it with his nature.” Austin was smiling; he threw his head back with a smile. “You should se
