The new recruit spent about 15 minutes in the trial dungeon before the door opened again. They all came out, all of them hurt, some were almost dead. I also came out with lots of wounds on my body but something is different about me.

While others were struggling to move and waiting for medication, I am still standing and my wounds, although at a slow rate, are visibly healing. The lady earlier ordered the guild workers to give medication to the wounded. When she noticed me she asked for my name and my powers

"My name is Levin and I have a fast growth in all aspects "

"plus healing right, your gift is really rare. Your strength should be at least on the second leaf level. Well, let's check your ratings first "

the lady said and move away from me to where the judges are, she scanned through everyone's rating and called their attention to tell them their results

"Attention everyone, all of you did great in the trial dungeon and you all managed to get to the one leaf level, none of you have a higher rating. When you are done applying medication on yourself you can go back to your houses and come back tomorrow so that you will be grouped into the Hunting Squad,that is being grouped with other hunters from higher levels in the guild to hunt in dungeons. Thanks to you all" the lady finished her speech and went out of the room while the other judges followed her. They guild workers kept applying medications on the new recruits.

I was beside a lady when I was applying medication on myself by myself

"Hey, looks like you didn't have many wounds on you. How did you manage? "The girl asked

"I have many wounds but healing is part of my powers, all this wounds will heal in few minutes "

"What are your powers"

"Nothing great, just buffed growth, I noticed the healing part just now "

"Well My gift is water soccery"

"That's good, I'm sure there is still more to what you can do right?"

"Sure "the girl stop talking for a while and then asked me "shouldn't you just wait a few years and be a freelancer instead of tying yourself to a guild"

"I am thinking of that too but currently I am not strong enough. I'll try though, if the dungeon here opens"

"There are lots of freelancers out there that do form a hunting squad, they share their profits from the dungeon hunting equally, sometimes according to their contributions. I tried to join one but I am disqualified"

"Thanks for the info, I should get going"

"We can exchange contacts right? I am really impressed with your powers and I would like us to get closer"

"Sure " I agreed and exchanged contact with the girl.

I stood up and went my way when the guild's bell rang. I think k this is to call the attention of everyone present.

The guild members that are out of the hall are cultivating together but on hearing the bell, they all broke out of cultivation and we all gathered in one place. After a few minutes, the guild master came to address us.

"Wow, the guild master, hmph, unless it's something important the guild master won't come out publicly" one of the crowd spectated

"The dungeon is open is important enough for the guild master to come out" another person replied

"We thank you all for your endurance in waiting for the opening of the dungeon" the guild master started and the crowd went silent. "Well, something important happened last night, something that has happened in other countries. A system appeared last night. This system is applicable to superhumans, monsters and devils. On this system we can now view our status window, check how strong we ate, our skill level and our titles. You just have to call the word 'status window' to see it…"

The guild master have to stop talking because the crowd started murmuring again, confirming what the guild master said

"I guess y'all are surprised by what you see. Whenever this happens, it means the dungeon on that continent or country will open after 24 hours. According to my calculations, the dungeon will open by midnight"

It is obvious that the tension from the crowd increased after the guild master said that.

"Worry not, it's just a new dungeon and the monsters in it will be low leveled. You are all permitted to go home now but you must return by noon when we will cultivate and prepare for dungeon hunting. A word of advice, practice your skills to your very best especially newbies" the guild master said and went away

The crowd also dispersed as members went their own way, it wasn't as lit as it was in the morning.

As I was going home all I could think of was what would happen in the dungeon. This dungeon is mine and now, humans will be hunting in it tonight. I am yet to place any monster on the first floor and now I can't go to the dungeon. I hope the dungeon won't be destroyed even before it starts. While thinking, I heard a voice shouting my name. I looked back as the voice came closer. It was the girl earlier

"Hey, I couldn't recollect your name"

"I didn't tell you your name. My name is Maxine, care for a stroll?"

"Sure"

Maxine started the conversation while we were trekking

"I'm really nervous about tonight, you?"

"I'm afraid"

"Come on, you don't have to be. You seemed to be the strongest among we newbies"

"You are not a newbie, you have lots of knowledge about the monsters don't you?"

"I have never been in a day before, I only judge things according to other people's experience"

"That's enough for a newbie" I replied

"See tonight, we want to have each other's back, you know, be together and cover for ourselves. I swear, I won't draw you back"

"It will be great having an experienced person like by my side and you should be worried about drawing you back"

Maxine smiled and we parted
