"How dare you?" Aruna was very angry and looked at them both with red eyes.

"Why wouldn't I dare?" One debt collector answered with a contemptuous and sneering look.

His friend even began to look toward Arya with a very dismissive gaze, and chuckled.

"I don't know how you could choose a poor and pathetic man like him as your guest? Compared to Young Master Danan, isn't this man completely useless?"

"If you had accepted Young Master Danan's offer to make you his woman, not only would your family's debt be paid off, but you could even live luxuriously than before."

"No need to live in this cattle pen anymore to raise an illegitimate child, and waste your life on that useless little girl all the time! I already said, just sell the child—"

Before the man finished speaking, he suddenly stopped. Not stopping by choice, but because someone had lifted him and stopped him from speaking.

Arya, who was previously several meters away from him, was now in front of him. Holding his neck with one hand, and lifting him into the air.

Looking at the man who had just called his younger sister a slut, and insulted his daughter as an illegitimate child, Arya's face became very cold. Both his indifferent eyes stared at the man in his hand with a cold gaze as if looking at a corpse.

"Say that again!"

"Ughh...."

The 80 kg man being lifted in the air like a garbage bag appeared to struggle, trying to release Arya's wrist. However, he felt that what was gripping his neck was not a human hand, but a steel clamp.

No matter how hard he tried, it was impossible to release the grip on his neck.

"Bastard! What are you doing!" The debt collector's friend shouted angrily at Arya.

But Arya didn't look at him at all, he just slightly increased the grip on his wrist, and once again said to the person in front of him, "Insulting my sister and cursing my daughter, who gave you the courage to do that?"

"Ughhh... I-I... arghh..." The man in the air wanted to say something, but Arya's grip became stronger, cutting off the oxygen supply to his brain. Making him choke with bulging eyes, and struggle with a face turning blue.

"Bastard! Let him go!" This time the other debt collector didn't just shout, but also pulled out a knife from under his shirt.

With an angry face and cruel expression, he lunged toward Arya.

"Ahh!!" Causing Aruna to scream in fear when she saw it.

But Arya's facial expression didn't change at all, remaining relaxed and cold, not even looking at the man attacking him with a knife. He just glanced at him with disgust, and stayed in place.

When the sharp knife with a cold glint was only a few centimeters from his cheek, finally Arya moved. His free left hand seemed to flash, and the knife's movement instantly stopped.

"You?" Shocked, the debt collector's face changed, he wanted to pull back his hand so he could attack again.

However, his wrist was held tightly by Arya's hand. No matter how much he tried to pull or move it, all his efforts were in vain.

"Let go— arghh!!!"

A pitiful scream accompanied by a "click" sound of breaking bone suddenly rang out.

"Click!"

"Argh!!"

The knife in the debt collector's hand fell, and tremendous pain came from his shattered wrist. Even when Arya released it, his palm could no longer be moved or felt, except for its appearance which was crushed and dangling. Looking horrible and terrifying.

"It seems you both want to die!"

But that wasn't finished, because with Arya's cold voice coming, a hard strike suddenly came, hitting his stomach hard as if hit by a truck, the man weighing no less than 80 kg flew out of the house through the door.

Then crashed into the wall with a loud "bam" sound, and no longer moved. Whether alive or dead.

"This..." Aruna's face and the debt collector being choked by Arya turned pale when they saw it.

Fear and horror appeared on the debt collector still hanging in the air.

Turning toward Arya, and staring at his indifferent, cold and completely emotionless gaze, the word "death" instantly appeared in his brain.

"Now—"

"Daddy?" A childish voice sounding sleepy stopped Arya's next words!

And when he saw the little girl who still looked lethargic and sleepy rubbing her closed eyes in front of the bedroom door, his heart instantly became peaceful. The anger and murderous intent in his body instantly vanished.

His expression softened again, but he didn't say anything, and only turned toward Aruna who was now staring at him with an empty gaze.

"Take Ara back to the room!" Arya's command immediately awakened Aruna. Making the woman immediately run toward Kiara, and carry her, bringing her back into the room.

As for Arya himself, he looked back at the person still trembling with fear in his hand, and threw him out the door, like throwing a piece of trash.

Then approaching them both, and closing the door, Arya looked at them both with a gaze full of real threat.

"You're lucky! But remember, if I see or hear that you dare come disturb my family again, it won't just be broken bones and shortness of breath. Do you understand!"

The debt collector who was previously thrown by Arya and was sitting on the floor bowing his head hurriedly nodded. Understanding very well.

After the incident just now, he was truly terrified of Arya. If the little girl he had previously insulted hadn't come, perhaps his body would have become cold and lifeless now.

He didn't doubt that Arya would kill him, because from his gaze just now, he could see a look of extreme indifference toward life and death. As if human life was nothing more than mere ants.

"If you understand, immediately leave here!"

Not waiting for the command a second time, the man immediately stood up, then dragged his still unconscious friend, and ran away.

Without looking back even once, he panicked and ran as fast as he could while dragging his friend, as if his life was at stake.

___

After everything, when Arya returned inside the house, Aruna and Kiara were waiting for him in the living room with different gazes.

Especially for his younger sister, Arya saw that her gaze had now become complicated, between fear, shock, disbelief and curiosity. Her lips seemed to move when the girl looked at him, as if wanting to say something, but in the end didn't say anything.

Arya might be able to guess what she was thinking, but he didn't say anything and only turned toward Kiara, who was currently staring at him with wide eyes.

"Daddy's so cool!"

Without fear or awkwardness, the little girl shouted happily and approached him.

While clenching her small fists, she began to chatter, "Daddy is so amazing! Successfully defeated the bad men who have been bothering Mama and Ara all this time! These bad people looked scary, but Daddy hit them so hard! Like... Like heroes on TV. So cool!"

"Deputy Mayor Daniel?"Fear and panic crept into Doyle's chest, but he forced himself to stay composed, rising to his feet to receive the man.He smiled. "Mr. Daniel, what brings you here? You should have called ahead — I would have prepared a proper welcome.""If I had announced my arrival beforehand, would you truly have welcomed me?" Daniel asked, his tone carrying a distinct chill."Of course!" Doyle nodded quickly, the brief flash of arrogance in his expression immediately replaced by something more cooperative and deferential. "A visit from Mr. Daniel is a rare occasion, so—""I don't need your welcome." Daniel cut him off, and this time his gaze settled on the corrupt officer before him with quiet, unwavering coldness."I'm here for the same reason as Lawyer Darren and this young woman. I'm asking you to suspend the arrest and investigation of Mr. Arya Ananta. Better yet — release him now."The smile vanished from Doyle's face. A shadow passed over it.In truth, with Danan's ba

At the city police precinct, inside a dim and windowless interrogation room, Arya sat with his eyes closed — perfectly still, perfectly calm. Then, slowly, he raised his head and opened his eyes. The door to the interrogation room was creaking open. Doyle — the captain who had arrested him the night before — stepped inside. He was fully geared up: bulletproof vest, anti-riot helmet, firearm in hand. Despite all of it, there was a visible tension in his frame as he looked at the man sitting quietly at the center of the room. Arya was younger than him by several years, and he looked completely at peace. That alone was enough to make Doyle's nerves pull taut. Honestly, the last place Doyle wanted to be was in this room. The bent handcuffs lying on the floor and the two ruined firearms scattered nearby were not things he knew how to explain — only things he knew he couldn't fix. Throughout the night, he had sent subordinate after subordinate in to interrogate Arya, to pressure him,

At that same moment, inside the company's R&D research center, Evelyn stood watching her team with a quiet smile she couldn't quite suppress. She turned the small jar of vivid green cream over in her hands. The relief that settled over her was real. The formula Arya had handed her on that single slip of paper was no bluff — if anything, it surpassed everything her team had been struggling to develop on their own.She still had no idea how that strange man had known exactly what she needed, or why he had simply walked in and handed it to her. She didn't have time to think about that now.She looked toward the middle-aged man standing a short distance away. "Is it genuinely safe? No harmful side effects?"Arga, the head of Valen Beauty's R&D team, nodded — though his expression carried a trace of something closer to awe than simple confirmation."Safe doesn't even begin to cover it, President Evelyn. This formula is... it's brilliant. Given where modern science and pharmacology currentl

At six o'clock the following morning, a black Porsche pulled up and stopped in front of Arya's rented home.A moment later, three people stepped out — two men and a young girl. The man who emerged first appeared to be in his early thirties, carrying himself with an air of quiet authority. He smiled warmly as he glanced down at the little girl beside him — a child of about five years old."Is this the place?" he asked his driver. The driver nodded without hesitation. "Yes, sir. After the news yesterday, your assistant Mr. Daniel provided the address. This is it."Thomas Hale — son of Robert Hale, the elderly man Arya had saved in front of the school — gave a small nod and studied the modest rental property before him, a slight frown creasing his brow."Is this where Kiara lives?" Viona asked, tilting her head in genuine confusion as she looked at the building. "Why is it so small? It's even smaller than the storage room at our house."Thomas opened his mouth to respond — but stopped wh

As for Arya, he remained seated at the dining table with a calm, unbothered expression — only the faintest crease forming between his brows.Several gun barrels were pointed directly at him, yet he felt no fear. His immortal body was beyond the reach of any firearm. That wasn't what troubled him. What troubled him was the fact that they had forced their way into his home, sent his little daughter into a screaming panic — and for a reason that made absolutely no sense.Assault and battery against seven people earlier that afternoon? That was when he had dealt with Danan's hired thugs. No — that had been self-defense, hadn't it?He was now being treated as a criminal for defending himself against men who had come to harm him? Labeled as the aggressor?Since when had protecting yourself from an unprovoked attack become a crime? But Arya understood exactly what was happening. He couldn't help the thin smile that tugged at the corner of his mouth as he looked over the assembled officers."

"Of course. Isn't Daddy a hero, after all?" Arya smiled and answered with a proud tilt of his chin.Even if he couldn't honestly call himself a true "hero" by any definition, he could still be one for his own daughter, couldn't he?"Yes!" Kiara nodded enthusiastically. "Daddy is a strong, brave hero who can do magic! He made all the bad men disappear!""So — does Ara like magic tricks?""Yes! Ara loves them! I want to see more! Daddy, can you do another one? Please?""Of course," Arya said with a nod, setting her down gently onto the floor. "But since it's already noon, we need to have lunch first. Then a bath, and then some studying.""Hmph!" Kiara's expression immediately collapsed into a full pout, both cheeks puffed out in protest.Arya couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. He steered her inside with a hand on her back, saying, "Tell you what — after lunch, your bath, and your studies, Daddy will show you a very special magic trick tonight. One that only Ara gets to see. But onl
