Sophia then shifted her gaze to Henry, then gasped.

"I would have wanted us to go get a coat for you to look more decent like a doctor, so my father won't see you suspicious, he wouldn't allow you to do a thing on my grandfather if he finds out you are a student who hadn't acquired the certificate of a professional doctor, but we are running out of time,” Sophia sighed.

"Let's go inside, make sure you follow my instructions for everything to work perfectly well. I'm trusting you on this because I have seen what you are capable of, your medical skill is one I have never seen, me entrusting my grandfather into your hands means I trust you, and besides you own me one," Sophia added.

Henry shocked his head as he understood all that she had said.

Sophia and Henry got into the Sinclair family mansion. And behold, Sophia's cousin Laura was standing just ahead of them, her back facing Sophia, and when Sophia saw Laura, she stopped then gasped in frustration.

Sophia wasn't ready for a stressing conversation with Laura at the moment, she knew Laura would be persistent, and might even make everything look suspicious about Henry.

Laura was the daughter of Davis, the brother to Sinclair, Sophia's father, but Davis died years back due to excessive intake of hard drugs.

Sophia grew up not liking Laura because of the way she always blabs her mouth around her, if not teasing her, doing something else that would make Sophia angry, and Sophia wasn't liking it. Now that Laura was in the family mansion at the moment, Sophia wondered why she was supposed to be in her house.

"Oh God, not again. What the hell is she doing here? I don't remember Father inviting her to come here."

Sophia murmured under her breath with a knitted brow before, finally, Laura turned and so their eyes met.

Laura walked towards Sophia and hugged her.

Sophia felt Laura's hands already pressing hard on her as she hugged her tightly, and it was already getting annoying. In one way or the other, Laura always finds a way to make Sophia angry.

"Wow, wow, you are pressing hard on me," Sophia retorted under her breath, then exhaled, pushing Laura backwards.

"And who do we have here?"

Laura asked with a smirk after noticing Henry.

"Wow, wait a minute, hope it's not what I'm thinking,” Laura said with a sudden pause, before continuing.

“You've finally decided to settle for a man? I thought you loved your single life."

Laura laughed sarcastically in a Taunting manner, her hands covering her mouth, as she made it obvious that she was mocking Sophia.

Sophia was so infuriated but had to contain her anger in order to not create an extra scene, and besides, she had something urgent to do. exchanging words with Laura now would not only waste time but could make things even more suspicious.

"Laura, why are you here? I won't take any word from you again, so you better keep your mouth shut, I have things to do," Sophia pointed her finger at Laura as she spoke with ire.

Just then before Laura could step forward, the other door at the right side of the massive luxurious living room opened, and Mr. Sinclair Sophia's father walked forward, holding his golden expensive walking stick that could be worth, more than two million dollars.

"Laura, where have you been? I have been looking for you. not until when one of the bodyguards told me you drove out," Sinclair said with a gasp.

"How many times have I told you to always go out with bodyguards or your private security? What if something bad happened to you?" He added with an angry tone his voice slightly raised but still deep and calculative.

Sinclair was so annoyed that he almost bit his tongue out of anger. Sinclair was scared of Something bad could happen to Sophia, his the eye of the city, one of the most prominent men, his wealth showcasing and with this, he knew he could have enemies that would go any Length to make sure he crumbled or extort money from him, by using any means possible.

Sophia was his only daughter and child; if he loses her now, he will never forgive himself.

Sophia knew something horrible had happened to her today, and her telling her father now would make him get even more worried and scared, and it could increase his blood pressure, a health condition he had been struggling with. And for this, Sophia planned never to tell him what had happened.

"Father, it's urgent, that's why I had to leave without going with any bodyguards," Sophia muttered with a sigh, her head dropping in regret.

"And was that the result of the urgency you came with, that man over there? Who is he, by the way?" Sinclair demanded, his voice stern.

"Um… his.. um.. am," Sophia faltered, her voice trembling, confused on what to say.

Sophia now realising she was panicking relaxed and took a deep breath as she gave a second reply.

"Yes father, Indeed, he is the urgency I went to get," Sophia laughed, completely faking it, as she tried to hide her nervousness.

"Huh?" Sinclair cocked an eyebrow, clearly perplexed.

"Who is he?" Sinclair asked again insisting for a clearer explanation, and just then, Laura's voice cut in.

"Father, I think he should be her new boyfriend," Laura laughed.

"Silence, Laura!" Sinclair blurted out angrily, and just immediately, Laura stood frozed.

"Father, he's a doctor. I brought him to check on Grandfather's condition," Sophia replied.

"Oh, Sophia, you are getting yourself so worried about this. I told you Grandfather would be okay. In fact, he's under high medication from different professional doctors so why stressing your self to bring more, leave everything into my hands to handle," Sinclair said calmly, walking forward towards Sophia.

"I know you love Grandfather so much, but don't make fear take over you; he would be okay," Sinclair added.

"I don't think he would.”

Sophia retorted, her voice raised flowing in a flat pompous stream, her eyes shutting as she shook her head with disbelief.

“grandfather had been in a coma for the past five months with no single sign of movement. Father, if something is not done, we might lose him, so give me a chance, to try," Sophia groaned, her eyes already welling up with tears.

Sophia had a very strong connection with her grandfather; Sophia had spent all of her days of being teenager with her grandfather, being always by her side, losing him will make her lose something inside of her that would never be replaced.

Sinclair gasped as he listened to what Sophia said. He had no option but to accept her words, and besides, he always wanted Sophia to be happy, just that he used to be harsh on her sometimes, making it hard for her to make decisions by herself.

"So, young man, what's your name, and what field as a doctor do you specialize in?" Sinclair shifted his gaze and asked Henry.

Henry chuckled, and just before he could answer, Laura's voice cut in.
