Natalie’s motorcycle came to a stop in front of the tall gate that had never been an obstacle for her all these years. The house still looked the same from the outside, but something felt different.
The iron gate that was usually opened whenever she arrived was now tightly shut, while two security guards stood near the entrance.
Natalie lowered the kickstand and removed her helmet.
“Open the gate! I want to go inside.”
One of the guards immediately approached her.
“I’m sorry, Miss Natalie. You are not allowed to enter.”
Natalie stared at him in disbelief.
“This is my house!” Natalie’s voice rose.
“Orders from the family management.”
“Family management?” Natalie let out a bitter laugh. “Since when does my own house need their permission?”
The guard did not answer.
Natalie looked through the gate. Her eyes searched the upper floor, specifically the window of her bedroom, where she had kept various personal belongings over the years.
Her laptop.
It was not just an ordinary computer. It contained various programs and data that she had used to help Damian. If she could not access the company’s system, at least she still had one chance through that laptop.
“I only want to get my laptop.”
“I’m afraid that’s not possible, Miss.”
Natalie tightened her grip on the full-face helmet in her hand.
“I’m not going to take anything else. I just want to go inside for a moment and get my laptop.”
“We really cannot allow you to enter.”
Natalie fell silent.
Only then did she realize that Celine had truly cut off every path available to her.
She could no longer enter the company. She could no longer access the company’s system. Now, even her own home was closed to her.
Natalie stared at the gate for a long moment. Her hand slowly dropped to her side as her eyes began to redden.
The tears she had been holding back finally welled up in her eyes.
Natalie quickly wiped them away before anyone could see.
“Fine.”
Her voice sounded much calmer than she actually felt.
She put her full-face helmet back on and started her motorcycle.
The two security guards exchanged glances when Natalie suddenly turned her motorcycle around and moved several meters away from the gate.
“Miss Natalie, what are you doing?!”
Natalie did not answer. Her hands tightened around the handlebars.
The engine roared louder and louder.
Then, within seconds, Natalie accelerated straight toward the gate.
“Stop!”
Bang!
A deafening crash shook the courtyard.
Natalie’s body rolled quickly to the side before the motorcycle slammed into the iron gate with full force. The front of the motorcycle was crushed, and the fuel tank was damaged. Moments later, sparks ignited the leaking fuel, and the flames immediately grew larger.
“Quick! Put out the fire!”
The guards rushed around in panic, grabbing fire extinguishers.
Amid the chaos, Natalie wasted no time. She immediately ran toward the section of the wall closest to her bedroom window. Her hands gripped the fence and the wall as she quickly pulled herself upward.
Her movements were far more agile than the guards had imagined.
Within seconds, Natalie reached the side of the building and pulled herself toward the bedroom window before smashing the glass with her full-face helmet.
She climbed inside, grabbed her laptop, and then escaped through the same route before the servants realized she had been there.
Natalie landed on the outside of the wall, breathing heavily.
She hugged the laptop tightly against her chest.
She turned and looked once at the house that had always been the place she returned to.
Her leg was scratched and bleeding from the landing, and the palms of her hands were scraped from hitting the ground, but she did not care about any of those little injuries.
There was a wound that hurt far deeper than the scrapes on her palms.
“I will find the truth!”
After that, Natalie ran with a slight limp toward the main road.
She stopped a car that happened to be passing by and asked the driver to take her away from there.
“Please! I’m being chased by robbers! They took my motorcycle and burned it! Take me to the police!”
While the security guards were still busy trying to extinguish the flames consuming Natalie’s motorcycle, the girl was already sitting in the back seat, clutching her laptop tightly.
Her gaze was sharp.
As long as she had not seen her brother’s body with her own eyes, Natalie would continue searching for the truth.
"Chase her!"

Elsewhere, Damian stared at the small television screen in his hospital room, his eyes narrowing.
The news headline displayed on the screen made his chest feel tight.
News about his death was still attracting media attention. Blackwood Group had moved quickly following his departure, while Celine’s name was appearing more frequently in the news as one of the people who now held significant influence within the company.
Damian clenched his fists.
“You will pay for this, Celine!”
His voice was low, but filled with anger.
He still did not know what was happening outside. He also did not know who was involved in all of this.
There was only one thing he knew.
The people who believed he was dead were taking everything that had once belonged to him.
Damian closed his eyes for a moment, trying to summon the blue screen he had seen earlier.
“System.”
Nothing happened.
He tried again.
“Good Deed System.”
Still, there was no response.
Damian frowned.
He could still remember the blue screen that had appeared some time ago. The system really existed. He had even received his first reward.
The problem was, he had no idea how to summon it again.
“Do I have to blink?”
Damian blinked.
Nothing happened.
He blinked again.
Still, there was no response.
“Don’t tell me this system only appears whenever it feels like it.”
Damian let out an annoyed sigh.
“Damn it! I was fooled by a post-anesthesia hallucination!”
Suddenly, he remembered his younger sister, Natalie.
“I have to check on Natalie!”
Damian climbed out of the hospital bed, only to realize that the IV line was still attached to his hand.
Without thinking twice, Damian pulled it out.
“Sir!”
A nurse who had just come to check on a patient was immediately startled.
“I have to leave.”
“You can’t! Your condition does not allow you to leave the hospital yet.”
“I’m fine. I need to check on—”
“No! You just lost a lot of blood. Your wounds haven’t fully healed yet,” the nurse quickly interrupted. “Doctor, nurse, somebody! Please!”
Damian did not care.
He had already walked toward the door when two medical staff members blocked his way.
“I’m sorry, Sir. You need permission from the doctor before leaving the hospital, and at the very least, you have to settle the hospital bill first.”
Damian stopped.
He looked at them.
“How much?”
The staff member told him the amount.
Damian fell silent. He reached into the pocket of his hospital pants.
Empty.
He did not have any money at all.
He did not even have a phone.
Damian took a deep breath.
“Let me borrow your phone. I’ll call Marcus.”

And, most importantly, finding a way to help Angelic. The car continued moving through the city until Marcus finally stopped in front of a small café.“This place?” Damian asked as he looked through the window.Marcus nodded.“Yes, Sir. The burgers here are famous for being the best in this area.”Damian raised an eyebrow.“The best?”“Yes.”Angelic, who was sitting beside Damian, nodded slightly.“I've eaten here before. It's delicious.”Damian glanced at her. The girl lowered her eyes.“It was one of the few places I could afford lately.”Damian said nothing. They got out of the car and entered the small café.The place was simple, with only a few tables and chairs. It was not the kind of place Damian would have

Chapter 8
“How can I help Angelic get her revenge?”Ding! The screen disappeared just like that, without even saying goodbye.“Hey!”Damian could not do anything about it because the transparent blue screen had already vanished. Deep down, he was extremely annoyed. He then turned toward Angelic, who was still staring at him with a confused expression.“I…”Damian was at a loss for words. He could not possibly tell her that, at this moment, he had nothing left. How was he supposed to help Angelic get her revenge? However, as a man who had always been accustomed to power, Damian found himself unable to speak. Saying such a thing would only crush his pride. All this time, with just a single command, he could make countless people move according to his wishes. The transparent blue screen flickered before Damian’s eyes.Damian’s eyes immediately lit up.“Then let me buy shares.”Damian rubbed his chin and thought for a moment.“What companies can I buy?”The system displayed several names, along with their current share prices and financial conditions.Damian scanned through them carefully. There were several profitable companies, but none of them caught his attention. Then his eyes stopped on one particular company. It was a shopping mall that had been struggling for years. Its revenue had continued to decline, its debts were piling up, and several major tenants had already left. Based on its current condition, most investors would consider buying its shares a terrible decision.Damian, however, smiled.“I want this one.”“Why?”

We’re currently tracking her whereabouts.”Damian turned his attention back to the blue screen in front of him and let out a bitter laugh.“My little sister really is reliable.”“Take this woman away and give her a job at your law firm. I still have something to take care of,” Damian continued before turning around.Marcus nodded. “Yes, Sir.”Damian wanted to return to his room as soon as possible to study the strange system that had suddenly appeared before him.
