XLVII.II Elastic Energy
Livia squirmed under my scrutinizing gaze; beads of sweat coming down her brow as she tried her best to avoid my eyes. Like a mother chiding a wayward daughter, I communicated my disappointment through the power of a pointed stare. Predictably, Livia wilted under the pressure.

"I-I... I did meet them..."

An eyebrow remained raised as I remained pointed in my stare. Words would only muddle the conversation, and Livia was smart enough to weasel her way out of my limited wit now. Just from the way her demeanor shifted, I could imagine her being a masterful actress. And wasn't that a weird thing to think about in regards to their little sister?
