Chapter 08: It Begins
last update2026-07-11 23:33:11

After burning the letter, a little plant suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Oh my God! what is that?" I said.

"Oh, dear Soufiane, there you are in the world of magic," the plant told me.

It was not just a plant. It was the kind of plant that could speak and eat. It had a mouth.

Then I remembered. she would become a friend of Echinocs  the botanist and the wizard.

"Ah!  it's you. The Prison Plant. I still remember how I wrote about you in my novel. How are you?"

"I can't believe I'm looking at my creator," the Prison Plant replied. "Long ago, you wrote about me in your first book. Ah dear  you created the dark world of magic."

Suddenly, the sky grew darker.

A strong wind began to blow, carrying dust through the forest. The weather became strange and unsettling, drizzly

"What is this feeling?" I asked.

"I don't know," the Prison Plant replied, "but I believe someone is coming. Please hide inside the big tree in front of you. I will open it for you. Hurry, go inside!"

I looked at the enormous tree, a door slowly appeared in its trunk and opened by itself, and without wasting another second, I stepped inside, and as soon as I entered, the door closed behind me.

The tree was hollow. I was standing inside its massive trunk, hidden from the outside world.

I remained completely silent, listening carefully as the sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the forest.

While I was hiding inside the tree, I tried to hear what was happening outside.

I heard a woman's voice.

I thought it was centinella's voice, talking to someone, but I didn't know who it was. It wasn't Fosiane, nor the Old Wizard, nor anyone else I knew.

"Ah, Lady centinella, I think he escaped," the man said.

"We have to find him. You are the Ghost of the Island. You must find the Serene Man," ce,ntinella replied.

She sounded furious. She was determined to find him.

"Ah, Lady centinella, if he escaped and told Soufiane about"

Before he could finish, centinella interrupted him.

"Shut up!" she shouted. "Don't say his name on this island! The walls have ears. Don't you know that? Don't even try to mention his name!"

Her voice echoed through the forest, and for a moment, everything fell silent.

Find the Serene Man and bring him to me alive," cantinella ordered.

"What if he tries to escape and kill us, Lady cantinella?" the servant asked.

"Then kill him," Santinella replied in a cold voice.

The moment I heard those words, a strange feeling came over me, fear.

I was terrified, hidden inside the tree, I didn't dare move. I couldn't bring myself to step outside.

My mind was filled with questions, What's going on? Why am I here?is this all just a dream?Or is it real?  What if I become a prisoner in this place forever? What if they kill me? I couldn't think of a way out, and i  couldn't do anything. All I could do was remain silent, hidden inside the tree, hoping they would never find me.

the world of magic was about to change , and darkness spread everywhere,  and even the strongest wizad would scarcely predict the next Era of magic, and when it will reappear. I thought in the begening that was a serendepity of been here in this world of fantasy but then, I realsed how muvh I was completely betricked.

"soufiane! are you here? " a voice whispering from the the truck of the tree, oh it's the prison plant again.

"yes!" i said

"listen, you have to return now to the castle, or centinella the witch will know about you, try to pretend that you don't know nothing, i will go now and see what's going on, in the world of magic! until then, i will see you sooner!" the prison plant told me and dissepeard, an dthe door had opened again and I went out the tree.

the garden was so cold, the moon, had a different color it was so yellow, the weather was drizzly and blustery. it's my prefer one, i was flabbergasted, and astonished.

drastically i went to the castle, when i found the three legendary wizards in the hall of the castle.

"oh dear, we were so afraid that you lost your way, are you okay?" centinella asked.

"oh i just went of a walk." I replied.

"be careful, the world of magic is full with mysterious creatures, and sometimes it can be so dangerous for you." Foziane looked at me and advised.

"no worries! i know that soufiane will be one of the legendary wizards after all, we all from his imagination." the old wizard said.

"I don't know but when should I learn spells and do so practices?" i asked.

"from tonight if you want to !" centinella was so excited when she replied, and looked happy when i asked for it.

"we already used the ERBOPHORA spell on you, and we open the door of magic inside you, and now BIBLOS SKOTOS !" Centinella used a spell for the borbidden black book of magic. one of the books that many wars happened to get it, a legendary one and it contains dark, dangerous, prohibited spells. it was unlawful to use this book until centinella used it in the last war of wizards.

"This book will show you the road, and you will not watch your train pull away from you!" The old wizard said," and since you already have a wand given by lady centinella you will have a chance with us to be excellent prepared to fight the black wizards!"

"Fighting them means suicide!" i shouted, "i created them and know their power"

"Don't worry, even the black wizard had died before, Eris was saved, somehow by your last chapter you have wrote it, but you will rectify it." centinella said.

"take on your wand!" foziane said with a high fight voice.

"quickly like that!" i said.

Training in magic took years, every spell demanded patience. Every lesson required sacrifice. Every step toward power came with pain.

Yet, standing before the Three Legendary Wizards, I felt something beyond imagination. Their presence alone radiated overwhelming power, unmatched intelligence... and, strangely, a quiet sense of love hidden beneath centuries of wisdom.

They were the three beings I had once created with nothing but ink and words.

Now they stood before me, real and Alive.

It was almost impossible to believe that I could absorb such immense power and ancient knowledge in so little time. The darkness itself seemed to recognize me, whispering through the air as if it had been waiting for my arrival, for the first time, I wondered whether I was mastering magic, Or whether magic was slowly mastering me.

Silver veins twisted around black wood, while a pale blue crystal rested at its tip, pulsing faintly like a living heart.“I give you this wand of magic,” she said. “It will help you face the dark wizards and witches that wander through the forgotten realms.”I hesitat
