Matthew returns to Sterling Mansion, smiling about what he has done. Evan finds him, looking concerned.

“Good evening, Young Matthew.”

“Good evening, Evan. Is dinner ready?”

“Uh… I’m not sure if you’ll have an appetite for dinner after arguing with your fiancée.”

“Sir, she might try to break the frame or throw the photograph away!” Evan tried to warn Matthew as he walked down the hallway.

Matthew stopped walking and turned to the secretary, smiling slightly. “She won’t do that. She knows what’s at stake. What did you think of the frame, Evan?”

We really need to talk,” she blurted.“Let’s go outside,” he said calmly. The two De Paula siblings descended the stairs and moved to a quiet corner near the clinic entrance. Around them, patients and their family members passed by — some arriving, others leaving — but none paying attention to their exchange.“Can I speak now?” Tiffany asked, the tension radiating from her.“You must,” Maurício replied, folding his arms.“I’m in a total dilemma at work. You remember Bryce Hudson?”Maurício made a sour face. “Not the most pleasurable encounter, but yes. Is he the problem?”“Don’t exaggerate,” she said, taking a deep breath. “He’s... jealous. Of me. And of his father.”Maurício’s eyebrows shot up comically, prompting a laugh from Tiffany, who immediat
