Bianca's body was slipping toward the floor when Jason swiftly caught her.

"Darling, are you okay?" He quickly checked Bianca's pulse, his expression filled with serious concern.

The Grey family immediately rushed toward their daughter to help her.

"Bianca! Wake up!" Chloe, Bianca's mother, shouted at the top of her voice in a panic, falling to her knees to check on her daughter.

"Don't worry, Mom. She will be fine." Jason tried to console Chloe before Joel, Bianca's father, snapped at him.

"Rubbish! What did you do to my daughter?!"

Jason was lost. He didn't understand what Joel meant by his question.

"Wasn't it after you held her hand that she passed out? What did you do to her?!" Chloe barked, glaring at Jason.

"I did nothing to her, Mom. But don't worry, I will take care of it," Jason said, trying to persuade the angry parents.

"Nonsense! Take care of what?! Are you a doctor or something?!"

"Oh! You mean you want to make the matter worse?! You ghost!"

Joel quickly pushed Jason aside to carry his daughter.

"To the hospital! Quickly!" Joel screamed at his wife.

"That might be too late, Dad. I will call for an ambulance." Jason took out his phone to make a call.

However, none of the Grey family members gave a damn about whatever Jason was saying.

Joel was about to carry his daughter out of the hall when the sound of an ambulance siren was heard.

A group of health professionals rushed into the hall with a gurney and spoke to the Grey family.

"We are here on the orders of the God of War to take care of Miss Grey. Allow us to do our job."

Before Chloe and Joel could react, Bianca was already placed on the gurney, and they exited the hall right away.

The ambulance left the Imperial Crown Hotel, and the Grey family followed behind.

Meanwhile, in the VIP suite, Andre had a scowl on his face as he finished reviewing the partnership contract.

Bernard was secretly praying for good news when he heard the old man clear his throat and speak.

"At no point is your family worthy enough to have a partnership with us. I will only sign this because I want to please my grandson."

Bernard was over the moon. Words could not express how joyful he felt.

He watched as Andre picked up a pen to sign the contract.

Just then, one of the Kim family butlers burst into the suite and fell to his knees before Andre. He was covered in sweat and shivering.

"Mr. Kim! Something terrible has happened!"

Andre frowned as he paused, the pen hovering over the paper, and turned to look at the butler. "What is it? Are you going to say it, or should I get you out of my sight?!"

The butler knew that wasting time was dangerous, so he let it out.

"Serious trouble broke out at the ceremony hall, and Mr. Kim Jr. was severely injured."

Andre rose to his feet immediately, shaking with rage, and screamed at the butler.

"What did you say?! Who dared harm my grandson?!"

Bernard was shocked to hear the news. He knew how much Andre cherished his grandson.

He thought that whoever was bold enough to attack the heir of the Kim family must be tired of living.

"Who do you say harmed Gabriel?!" Andre slapped the butler hard across the face for not answering quickly enough.

The butler pointed toward Bernard. "It's him."

'Huh?'

Bernard's heart skipped a beat as Andre's dangerous eyes darted toward him.

He had been in the VIP suite the entire time; how could he have harmed someone elsewhere?

Bernard's mind was reeling until the butler clarified.

"It was your family's adoptive child, Jason Scott, who caused trouble at the ceremony and harmed Mr. Kim Jr."

'What?!'

Bernard felt his head explode in shock.

He was more confused and restless now than he was when he was first accused.

Jason had died five years ago. Bernard was the one who had pushed him off the rooftop and confirmed he was dead before he was dumped into the sea.

How could he be the one causing trouble at the ceremony hall?

Bernard was nearly losing his mind.

Andre was confused as well. He couldn't understand.

He shifted his piercing gaze from Bernard to the butler and asked, "Are you sure you haven't been drinking again?!"

"No, I'm not hallucinating, Mr. Kim. It is really Jason Scott. He came to take his wife away," the butler answered immediately.

"And you allowed him?!" Andre's fist clenched tightly.

The butler's eyes filled with terror. He didn't know how to explain the gruesome scene in the hall to the old man. Who would dare stand in the path of such a beast?

"Why are you silent?! Don't tell me you all foolishly watched him walk away freely?!"

The butler wished the ground would open up and swallow him whole; he preferred that to the murderous look on Andre's face.

"Speak!" Andre's intimidating voice struck the butler, who answered instantly.

"He was able to escape..."

The butler hadn't finished his sentence when Andre delivered a powerful punch to his stomach, and the man died instantly.

Bernard was soaked with sweat while witnessing the scene before Andre turned to him.

"And you! Didn't you announce that boy's death five years ago?! How come he came to disrupt my grandson's wedding ceremony today?!"

"Ehm..." Words eluded Bernard as he struggled to find what to say.

"Yes, he was dead." The short sentence slipped from Bernard's trembling lips.

Andre's eyes shone more dangerously at Bernard as he yelled at him.

"He was dead five years ago and returned to life today, huh?!"

"Get out of here now and go bring that stupid boy of yours to me to get crippled right before me!"

"Scram! Now!"

Like lightning, Bernard sprinted out of the suite with his heart in his mouth.

The next morning, after breakfast, Jason told Joel to settle the matter between Bianca and her mother, as both of them would tend to listen to Joel. Even though Bianca apologized to her mother deeply and asked for her forgiveness for how rudely she had behaved toward her the day before, the woman said she had forgotten about the matter. To show her sincerity to her mother, Bianca gave her the key to her Mercedes-Benz and asked her to keep the car for herself, that she would go to work in her husband's car. However, Chloe rejected it immediately. "You don't have to give your car to me. Why should you? It belongs to you and it's for you." Bianca knew her mother was still just angry. She continued to reason with her and said she could just continue using the car for now until her project was completed, then she would get whatever car she wanted for her. But Chloe insisted. "I have already said my piece and nothing will change it." Joel tried to persuade his wife to accep

Jason returned home later in the evening. Upon his arrival, he was surprised to see his mother-in-law outside, all smiles as she watched him park his Audi Q3. Jason didn't want to believe that the woman was all smiles, thinking he had gotten the Audi Q3 for her upon her request. However, as soon as he got out of the car, Chloe welcomed him wholeheartedly and gave him a nice compliment. "I must say, Jason, this car really suits your personality. You must have thought about it really well before choosing it for yourself." Jason was surprised to hear her say that. He get to understand that it must have been Bianca who had told her that he had gotten a car for himself as well. That was actually true. After Chloe ended the call with Jason earlier, Bianca had explained to her mother that the reason she did not want Jason to be burdened further was that he had not gotten the Mercedes-Benz for her only, but had also gotten an Audi Q3 for himself. This was the reason she did no

  • Chapter 119

Jason had just parked his car when he received his mother-in-law's call. After listening to everything she had to say, Jason only sighed and laughed softly. He couldn't believe that the woman who had said she was disappointed in him the other day now wanted a car from him. Then, he told her not to worry about it. Chloe felt so elated to hear him say that before the call ended. The reason Jason didn't return home with his wife was that he had asked Nathan to investigate the Fabulous Three. He was done with it, so he wanted to give Jason the report. At that moment, Jason saw Nathan's car come to a halt behind him through the rear-view mirror. The General got out and entered Jason's car. "My lord," Nathan said with a respectful bow. "How is it going?" Jason asked him right away. Then, Nathan began to give his report. "Firstly, I would like to inform you that the Scott family's case was presented before the court today. They were all found guilty and were sentenced t

  • Chapter 118

Before Jason and his wife left Elite Autos, he had told his wife to head home because he had something to handle quickly. Bianca obeyed him and headed home. She knew that no matter what time Jason returned home that day, he would have to explain to her how he was able to acquire tens of millions as pocket money. He couldn't escape her questions. She had promised to be at home waiting for him. Bianca had just driven her Mercedes-Benz GLE into their garage when she saw her mother approaching. Her mother was staring at the car in puzzlement. Of course, Bianca knew she would have to explain to her mother how she was able to acquire such an expensive car when she had told her that her project had been attacked. "Bianca, how is your project?" That was the first question Chloe threw at her daughter, confusion still on her face. She remembered Bianca calling her, weeping as she explained what had happened at the site. She had felt helpless and clueless about how to help her,

Unfortunately for Patrick and his side chick, both of them had just run into trouble. After the petite lady laughed loudly at Patrick for asking her to pay for the car by herself and drew people's attention to them, Patrick blew a gasket. He was furious with her for being unreasonable and drawing unnecessary attention to them. The petite lady not only found that funny, but she also made sure to mock Patrick even further. She did not believe that after she had already discovered the foolish trick he wanted to play on her, he could still expect her to remain silent. How ridiculous! The petite lady, now furious with Patrick for wasting her entire day when he knew he was as broke as a church mouse, made matters worse and caused a scene in the middle of the showroom. Patrick did not want the matter to escalate to the point where people would record them, post them online, and his girlfriend would see it. He also did not want Jason and his wife, whom he considered to be broke,

Meanwhile, Jason and his wife were heading toward the model of a car that might interest them. Bianca chuckled slightly as the thought of Patrick's stupidity earlier came to mind. Jason asked her what the matter was, and she blurted it out. "It was just funny how Patrick chose to make a fool of himself. What a cheater and attention seeker." Jason waved his hand and responded, "He's not worth our attention. If only Victoria would listen to your advice, I would have suggested that you tell her to be careful with such an untrustworthy fellow." Bianca turned to look at her husband and said, "You have said it all already. It would have been nice if Victoria had wanted to be saved, but I doubt it. She is as blind as a bat." Then the couple dismissed the matter, as it was not really relevant to them. They had just stopped in the middle of a series of different car models, including Range Rovers, Audis, BMWs, Porsches, and many more, when a salesperson walked up to them to give
