Chapter 1:

"Jackson! You must deliver the cake to this hotel," the bakery owner requested of Jackson.

"I will certainly deliver it as soon as possible," Jackson replied.

He sighed. Jackson, feeling exhausted, had had a very busy day, which left him drained and tired. His feet could no longer bear him, but he had to finish his work.

Jackson Harrison had been working as a cake delivery boy for a long time. The job paid the bills but was not entirely satisfying.

All Jackson did was drive all around the city, delivering sweets to the rich and famous. But today was different. Today was special. Today marked his last delivery of the day, and tomorrow he would turn 25.

He headed straight to the hotel to deliver the cake, wearing a smile on his face, excited for his twenty-fifth birthday. This meant his long-standing struggle was finally coming to an end. He had always dreamed of a better life, one where he didn't have to work two jobs just to get by.

As he drove to the grand hotel, adrenaline coursed through his veins. The hotel was known for hosting some of the most luxurious parties in the city, and he was about to deliver a cake to one of them.

He entered the grand hall, feeling out of place in his simple attire, and made his way to the designated table. And there she was, his wife's best friend, Victoria Stone, celebrating her thirtieth birthday in style.

Victoria Stone had always been a bit haughty, and Jackson had never been fond of her. She always managed to humiliate and insult him, but today, something in her behavior caught his attention.

"Jackson! How lovely to see you!" Victoria exclaimed as she saw him approaching. "I heard you're turning 25 tomorrow! Finally, it's time to mature, isn't it?"

Jackson awkwardly smiled and didn't know how to respond. He had always been a quiet person, preferring to keep to himself. But something in Victoria Stone's tone made him uneasy.

He replied hesitantly, "Hello, Victoria. I didn't realize the cake delivery was for you."

Victoria mocked him as she looked at him and said, "I specifically requested you, Jackson. This will earn you some money, you know... being my friend's husband, I should help you, shouldn't I?"

Jackson looked around to find everyone looking at him with disdain and mockery, some examining his clothes, and others wondering what a delivery boy was doing with Victoria.

He remained composed and tried to ignore Victoria, as long as his wife was with him, he was fine and could stand up to anyone, even if it was his wife's favorite friend.

"Thank you, Victoria, for the recommendation. And also, happy birthday to you. Today seems to be your birthday," he said.

Victoria continued laughing, ignoring his irritation. "I also have a surprise for you that will make you happy. Oh, and by the way, you might want to take this cake to Room 304 on the top floor. That's where my friend and her new man are celebrating my birthday. I'm sure they'll appreciate it."

Jackson nodded, feeling a bitter sensation inside, but he took the cake and made his way to the third floor. As he walked down the dimly lit hallway, he couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. What was he about to walk into?

He took a deep breath and knocked on the door of Room 304. But there was no answer; he heard muffled sounds from inside, moans, and it seemed like the couple inside was at the peak of their excitement.

He shuffled his feet. The door opened slowly, and he saw a large man leaning over a woman, inserting his large member between her thighs. He couldn't see the woman's face, but her continuous moans sent shivers down his spine.

Maybe he knew the voice owner, so he got closer and closer when the man lifted his face from the deep kiss that had consumed the girl sitting below him. And Jackson was shocked.

It was his wife, Emma Carter, on the other side, Emma, in the embrace of another man and in another bed. She was kissing another man and moaning in pleasure with someone else.

Jackson's heart sank as he stood there, frozen in disbelief. This couldn't be happening. His wife, the person he loved more than anything else, was cheating on him.

Jack spoke in a loud, shocked voice and dropped the cake from his hand, "Emma!"

Emma felt fear and panic, pulled the cover and covered herself while the man with her retrieved his clothes and dressed under Jackson's contemptuous gaze.

"Let me explain," Emma said, trembling.

"What do you explain? Is it just a kiss or a mistake? You're having sex in another man's bed!" Jackson spoke, shocked.

The man asked Emma, "Who is this, Emma?"

"Th... this is my husband... he's my husband," Emma said hesitantly.

"Who are you?! She's my wife!" Jackson yelled, trembling.

"This... this is my boss at work, and he's going to help me a lot," Emma tried to justify.

Jackson laughed loudly and said, in pain, "Is he going to help you by having sex with you, sleeping with you in his bed? Are you so cheap that you'd sell your body like that?"

The man, Edward, spoke mockingly, "Your husband works in delivery, what a joke."

"Of course, she deserved a hot night with a man like me, not just a poor guy struggling with cake delivery," he added.

Emma slowly withdrew from the other man, Edward, and never took her eyes off Jackson as she whispered, "I'm sorry, Jackson."
