Arriving upstairs, in one of the most opulent suites in Oui Devoir,

"Can I have the necklace?" Bethany asked. "I know a skill artisan who can help restore it." She assured.

"That will mean a lot." Irwin handed the necklace over to her, but his expression remained dark.

If it wasn’t because of the necklace, then was it that brat’s so-called brother-in-law that keeps Irwin's expression darkened?

Interesting, Bethany couldn’t help thinking.

"There is a charity banquet coming up, and I'm the host." She started.

This shifted the attention of Irwin to her, even though the scowl still lingered in his face.

"Would you do me an honor of coming to the banquet?" She asked.

Irwin didn't have to think much about it.

"Thanks for the invite." He said. "But for now, I just want to rest." He added, rubbing his forehead.

"Maybe next time." He sat down, looking away.

"In truth, this banquet was organized in your honor." She explained. "My father asked me to extend this invitation to you, and if you would permit, I'll be delighted to accompany you to the venue."

Irwin thought about it for a moment.

"Alright. I will." He replied.

“That's great!” She suddenly became relieved.

Meanwhile, Dorathy Rolan was in the car with her son. Her fingers were trembling as she tried to put a call through.

"Isabella!" She exclaimed as soon as the call was connected. "You won't believe what just happened."

"Mother, what happened? Is everything alright?" Isabella answered, anxious about her mother's pitch.

"Guess what just happened?" Dorathy demanded.

"You know I'm busy with work, mother." Isabella was getting impatient.

"Irwin!" Dorathy exclaimed. "We just saw him! He has been released from prison."

"What? That can't be true. I just met him today." Isabella argued.

"Do you think I'm lying?" Dorathy was offended. "In fact, he is now involved with a wealthy woman! All along, that wretch has been cheating on you!"

"Upon catching him with the woman, we confronted him. But guess what? He had people beat us up!" She started crying.

"Irwin was cheating on me?" Isabella's voice was getting strained. "He even had people beat you up when you confronted him?"

"I swear." Dorathy added.

"That can't be true." Isabella refuted. "He’s not that kind of person."

"Are you calling your mother a liar?" Dorathy was already annoyed.

James has been hearing the conversation and was especially enraged that his sister would not believe their mother.

"What the hell, Isabella." He snatched the phone from his mother. "Are you going to place that bum over us?" He added.

"James?" Isabella was getting nervous.

"I swear with everything holy that Irwin kicked me in the face. In fact right now I'm bleeding." He lied. "If you don't believe, you can come to the hospital right now. We are on our way there."

"Blood?" Isabella exclaimed.

"Don't panic. We are already on our way to the hospital." James replied.

Although worried and scared, Isabella was half in doubt of what she had just been told.

"I can’t go to the hospital right now." She answered. "I'm going to a charity banquet tonight with Danny Ceballos. He's here with me."

"Danny is there with you?" James's face lit up upon hearing that. "Hi, brother-in-law."

"Don't be silly, James." Isabella quickly scolded. "Me and Danny are only business partners."

"I apologize for his rudeness." James could hear Isabella addressing Danny Ceballos.

"Don't be hard on him, Isabella." Danny replied. "Besides, being acknowledged by your family is an honor for me." A smile danced about his lips.

Isabella gave no reply to that.

"Alright, I’ll come check on you guys later." She urged over the phone then hung the call.

There was a paste of worries plastered on her face after dropping the call. She couldn't get those words off her mind.

Seeing this, Danny leaned in, trying to strike up a conversation.

"You don't have to worry about anything." He assured. "With me around at the charity banquet, securing cooperation with Rathclif will be a piece of cake."

Isabella nodded at him, sparing a perfunctory smile.

But there was something eating up her mind.

What James had said about Irwin being involved with another woman was boggling her.

Hardly had Robert zoomed through the space than he was immediately caught by the shoulder. He was so shocked and stunned that this was happening. He should be embarrassed and devastated that he had been caught and would soon be identified. Instead, he was bewildered. Never in his life has anyone been able to match the speed of his movement. He wasn't using the ordinary man speed. He had tapped into a hidden dimension of the Artic order. This was why his body could ride the wave of the wind in the matter of a moment. Whoever had caught must be someone superior to him. Not even a Grand Mage could catch up with him. He was using a speed a little faster than that of a Grand Mage. Although he wasn't quite a big fan of being called that title, he loved to ridicule their skills and all. This was the origin and sustenance of his bewildered expression. He didn't know when he willingly turned to look at the person. He wanted to accord a kind of respect to the person. Being caught wasn't the

The solitary figure used the shadow as a cover just as Gamaliel had done in the past. His frame was yielded and safe for his masculine voice, nothing else could be made out of him. "It's him." Judging by the reaction of Jared, whatever this stranger had done to him had something to do with the psychological state of mind of Jared. Gamaliel didn't think this stranger would have ever hit Jared. Jared didn't look like someone who had suffered any visible injury safe for the one caused by the medical condition. Gamaliel recalled the argument of Jared as soon as he stepped in earlier. Jared had claimed that he was never related to the Ferry Twin, having thought that Gamaliel was the stranger who had just intruded them right now. Hearing the reply of Jared, Gamaliel could not proceed with the conversation. He held still, still using the darkness as a cover. The statement that Jared had just mentioned was something that he couldn't push aside. "I do not have the secret you are looking for." Jared continued. "I have told you a countless number of times. I know nothing about the Ferry Twin."Gamaliel was further plunged into a mud of shock. At first, it sounded as though Jared was speaking directly to him. Indeed, he had come here for the Ferry Twin. But Jared had added some other information that Gamaliel couldn't quite explain. "Has someone else come to you, Jared?" Gamaliel advanced at once. He didn't need to use the darkness as a cover anymore. He has heard enough. He could have continued in disguise for a moment but he would wearing the old man out. Being the fact that both Revana and Mark had left the main building, Isabella thought it quite unreasonable to be the only one left in a stranger's house. Aside from this, she was quite interested in finding out what Irwin was going to do. But beyond all of this, she still couldn't believe everything that was happening to her at that moment. "You can't go in alone, Great One." Revena said, scared out of her mind.Gamaliel stopped in his tracks for a moment and turned to look at her. When their gaze met, she dropped her head for a moment. It wasn't for the lack of proof or backup response but instead for reverence. "Although it's poison, it's been said that it's contagious. Also, the smell in there is quite..." She trailed off for a moment. She choked on the words. She couldn't bear such words about her own husband, but for the sake of protecting the mental health of Gamaliel, she had no choice. What would happen if there was a situation and everyone in the noble family finds out th

The opposition and loud cry of the security guard caught the attention of everyone inside the massive living room. But they didn't get the chance to even react before the young man walked into the living room. Everyone jumped to their feet at once. It would seem as though they had all rehearsed the action and were waiting for the right time on track to hit the action. "Great One!""Supreme Commander!""Irwin!"Each of the three called the name by which they knew this young man. Everyone of them knew who he was but they had different knowledge of whom he was. Mark had always seen the Supreme Commander on the TV. On most of the occasions, the Supreme Court never revealed his face. He was either wearing a mask or using something would disguise his true identity. In fact most people have argued that he used to wear a different skin on his face. If it wasn't for the skills and talents of Dora, he wouldn't have been able to see his real face. It was Dora that helped him find his real fac
