Chapter 001
September in Liverton was bitter, with autumn winds stripping the dying leaves from the trees. Robert Depp stood like a steel spear outside the doors of a dilapidated clinic, a heavy black trench coat draped over his broad shoulders as the dead leaves settled on him.
"Take this lunatic you birthed and get the hell out of the Depp family of Kingston. Never come back."
At thirty-four, the echoes of his banishment still haunted him. Ten years ago, he had been a member of the Depp family, one of the Three Great Families of Kingston. But a rare, volatile psychological fracture—the Rage Disorder—had seen him and his mother violently exiled to Liverton, forced to scrape by running this tiny clinic.
Their fragile peace had shattered when the Rage Disorder relapsed. In a blind fugue, Robert had defiled Lily Lohan, the prized jewel of the Lohan family, earning himself an eight-year prison sentence. His mother had crawled back to Kingston on her knees to beg for mercy, only to be ruthlessly humiliated. Broken, she retreated to a remote temple in Armeria, shaving her head and chanting sutras to atone for his catastrophic sins.
"I don't blame you, my son," she had told him. "But promise me, when you get out, you will use your life to make amends to the girl you broke."
He hadn't just survived prison. His innate physical dominance and medical genius caught the warden's eye, and he was covertly drafted into the meat grinder of the Northern Frontier. Over eight years, he slaughtered enemies and secured countless victories, ascending to become the Reaper. His combat prowess and medical mastery were unmatched; with one hand he saved lives, with the other he took them, standing in the dark to protect the borders of Armeria.
Now, he was back.
Footsteps crunched behind him. Viper, his top combat lieutenant, approached with absolute reverence and handed over a manila envelope. "Boss, this is the intel you asked for on the girl."
For eight years, a military pact had barred him from returning to Liverton or contacting Lily. He had been entirely blind to her fate. Now, his hands trembled as he opened the envelope.
The first photo was a gut punch: a pale, hollow-eyed Lily sitting in a grimy bar, staring blankly at the chaotic dance floor, drowning in hesitation and despair. The second showed her slumped by the city moat, her face a mask of total decadence. But the third shifted the narrative—the deadness in her eyes was replaced by a fragile spark, as she held an incredibly cute little girl in her arms.
Robert’s heart violently contracted with unspeakable guilt. Lily Lohan had been Liverton’s most famous heiress—a breathtaking beauty, a world-class dance prodigy destined for greatness. The broken, decadent shell in these photos was a stranger.
"How did it come to this?" Robert rasped, his grip crushing the photos.
"The incident destroyed her," Viper reported flatly. "Her temperament changed completely, and she spiraled into heavy smoking and drinking. The Lohan family exiled all three of them. Her father couldn't handle the pressure, attempted suicide, and shattered his legs; he's permanently in a wheelchair. Her mother now hawks vegetables on the street to keep them alive."
Robert locked onto the third photo. "Who is the girl? Is Lily married?"
Viper studied his commander's face. "She is your biological daughter."
The photo slipped from Robert’s trembling fingers. For the first time in a decade, the War God looked utterly stunned. "What did you say?"
Viper calmly retrieved the picture. "A year into your sentence, she gave birth to a girl named Jenna. She’s in the second grade at Sunnydale Elementary School. Jenna’s birth pulled Lily out of her spiral, but chronic depression makes her erratic; no major company will hire her, leaving her struggling in a dead-end job. I don't know where Lily is right now, but Jenna is with her grandmother at the market, selling vegetables."
"Move." Robert turned sharply, marching toward the vehicle.
Ten minutes later, they stood amidst the chaotic noise and stench of Meadowbrook Market. Robert's gaze cut through the crowd, landing on a tiny girl desperately waving a cabbage leaf.
"Grandpas, grandmas! Uncles and aunties!" her milky voice rang out. "Come look at our vegetables! My grandma just picked them, they're super fresh!"
The supreme commander of the Northern Frontier felt his eyes burn red. There was so much of him in that little face. Is this really my daughter?
Jenna was ridiculously cute, wearing a red Mickey Mouse hoodie and pigtails, her pale skin glowing in the sun like a porcelain doll. And her smile—it was a devastating mirror of his own.
"Boss, that's her. That's Jenna," Viper murmured.
"Don't interrupt," Robert ordered softly. "Let me just look at her."
To Robert, she was the most precious treasure on earth; every tiny movement gripped his heart. But the reality was grim. After minutes of shouting, only a few indifferent customers approached. Jenna looked helplessly at her exhausted grandmother, Brit Lohan, then bit her lip, doubled down, and shouted even louder over the market’s din.
Robert couldn't stand it. He closed the distance in a few long strides.
"Sweetheart," he said gently, towering over the stall. "I'll take all of these vegetables. Every single one."
Jenna tilted her head back, staring up at him in silence. For some inexplicable reason, this terrifyingly massive man gave her an overwhelming sense of familiarity, as if she had known him forever.
"You?!"
A panicked scream shattered the moment. Brit Lohan looked up, and her exhaustion instantly morphed into explosive terror. This was the monster who had defiled her daughter, ruined her brilliant future, and dragged their entire family into the gutter.
In a blur of sheer panic, Brit shot up, yanked Jenna violently into her arms, and screamed at the top of her lungs, "Get the hell out of here! Don't you dare touch my Jenna!"

The Reaper's Redemption Chapter 008
Lily hung up the phone, quickly freshened up, changed into a business suit, and headed straight for the Northgate Group headquarters. Stepping into the massive corporate lobby for the first time, she watched the sharp, impeccably dressed employees moving with absolute purpose. A suffocating wave of anxiety washed over her. She had once dreamed of working in a towering corporate empire like this, but now, faced with the reality, she felt entirely out of her depth. For the first time, she realized she was completely unprepared for the corporate battlefield she had once dreamed of conquering.Up in the Human Resources department, the manager, Ms. Fisher, slid a heavy contract across the desk. It was the paperwork for the Executive Assistant to the President."Ms. Fisher, can I sign this now?" The next morning, sunlight cut through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Chairman's office at Northgate Group.Nicholas Hoult, the Chairman, bowed respectfully to the towering man standing before his mahogany desk. "Mr. Depp, thank you for agreeing to join Northgate. With you here, I am confident we will become the absolute apex of Armeria."Robert tossed the unsigned equity contract onto the desk. "I won't be signing this. I have no interest in sitting on your board as Chairman," Robert stated flatly. "Instead, you will hire me on a salary as the President of Northgate."Nicholas was stunned but immediately agreed. Securing Robert as a protective umbrella was a monumental victory for the company, regardless of the official title he demanded. "Of course! However, we already have an active President," Nicholas suggested cautiously. "Replacing him outright might trigger unnecessary corporate backlash. How about we establish a Co-President structure with equal authority?"Robert nodded

The Reaper's Redemption Chapter 006
The dead of night had settled over Liverton by the time Robert Depp returned to the clinic. Viper was waiting in the dim light, staring intently at a thick legal contract."Boss, you're back," Viper said, immediately stepping forward with the document. "Lily's employment situation is locked in. It's with Northgate Group, a highly reputable cosmetics R&D firm here in the city. Her exact position is still pending, but they guarantee it won't be a low-level placement. But...""But what?" Robert asked, sinking heavily onto the battered sofa and lighting a cigarette."Northgate Group officially wants you to step in as their Vice Chairman. They are offering you a forty percent equity stake and major executive voting power. They desperately want you on board."Viper tapped the heavy contract. "I know they're just looking for a powerful umbrella to protect their assets, but tactically? I highly recommend you take the position. Being the Vice Chairman means you'll be in close, daily proximity

John Campbell, the bloated, overconfident owner of Radiant Media, sat at the head of a sprawling banquet table. He was surrounded by a degenerate circle of cronies, all of them violently gorging themselves on premium food and alcohol."Hey, John," one of his half-drunk associates slurred, leaning across the table with a lecherous grin. "That woman at your company... Lily Lohan. Have you finally managed to get her into bed?""Not yet," John waved his hand dismissively, though a nasty sneer twisted his lips. "Damn it, don't let her erratic, unstable reputation fool you. That bitch is incredibly stubborn. I tossed a bank card with two hundred thousand dollars right in her face, and she still wouldn't bit
