By 9:00 PM, the neon lights of Liverton flickered to life, signaling the start of the city's unapologetic, chaotic nightlife.

Inside the opulent VIP room of the Riverstone Restaurant, the air was thick with the suffocating stench of expensive liquor, cigar smoke, and unchecked arrogance. John Campbell, the bloated, overconfident owner of Radiant Media, sat at the head of a sprawling banquet table. He was surrounded by a degenerate circle of cronies, all of them violently gorging themselves on premium food and alcohol.

"Hey, John," one of his half-drunk associates slurred, leaning across the table with a lecherous grin. "That woman at your company... Lily Lohan. Have you finally managed to get her into bed?"

"Not yet," John waved his hand dismissively, though a nasty sneer twisted his lips. "Damn it, don't let her erratic, unstable reputation fool you. That bitch is incredibly stubborn. I tossed a bank card with two hundred thousand dollars right in her face, and she still wouldn't bite. But don't worry, boys. I've got a complete read on her situation. Her family is drowning in debt. They can barely afford to put food on the table. It's only a matter of time before she totally breaks down and submits, crawling right under me."

"Hahaha! When you finally break her and get what you want, don't forget about your brothers here," another crony laughed, his eyes gleaming with malicious intent.

"Exactly," a third chimed in, licking his lips. "Even though Lily already has a kid, her figure... tsk, tsk. She is an absolute knockout. A total masterpiece."

"Hahaha, relax, all of you!" John roared with laughter, slamming his heavy glass onto the table. "I promise you, once I'm done playing with her, I'll make sure every single one of you gets a turn to taste her!"

Hearing this vile promise, the entire table of men erupted into vulgar cheers, their faces practically glowing with predatory, undisguised lust.

Creak.

The heavy, mahogany door to the VIP room was suddenly pushed open.

The boisterous laughter died instantly. Robert Depp stepped into the room, a towering, monolithic silhouette wrapped in a storm-weathered black trench coat. His handsome, razor-sharp features were cast in a mask of absolute, chilling indifference.

His sudden intrusion sucked all the oxygen out of the space. The drunken degenerates at the table immediately stopped laughing, staring blankly at this imposing stranger who had just trespassed into their private sanctuary.

"Hey, buddy. Did you walk into the wrong room?" John Campbell demanded. He slammed his liquor glass down, his eyes narrowing as he scanned Robert from head to toe, trying to gauge the threat level.

Robert ignored the question. His dark, abyssal eyes locked directly onto the man at the head of the table. "John Campbell?"

"Yeah, that's me. Who the hell are you?" John's posture stiffened, his drunken haze clearing slightly. His gaze became heavily guarded. If this stranger could walk straight in and call him out by name, it meant this wasn't an accident. This man was here specifically for him.

"I am here to collect Lily Lohan's salary," Robert stated, his voice a low, lethal hum that vibrated through the room.

The moment Lily's name dropped, the tension in the room snapped. The group of degenerates exchanged excited, mocking glances.

John Campbell leaned back in his leather chair, crossing his legs with an arrogant smirk. "Listen here, kid. What exactly is your relationship with Lily? Why are you playing the hero, coming all the way here to collect her paycheck?"

"If you do not want your company to go bankrupt by tomorrow, I suggest you behave," Robert said, his tone entirely flat, devoid of any emotional inflection. "Call Lily tomorrow morning and tell her to come collect her salary. You have officially been notified. How you proceed is entirely up to you. I suggest you cherish this opportunity."

Having delivered the ultimatum, Robert turned on his heel, preparing to walk out. He didn't offer a single smile. He didn't raise his voice. He moved with the cold, unstoppable finality of a creeping glacier.

The sheer audacity of the threat left the table stunned for a fraction of a second. Then, the realization set in. Is this guy a total lunatic?

"Stop right there!" John bellowed, his face flushing violently with humiliated rage. He slammed his meaty palm against the table so hard the plates rattled. "Who the fuck do you think you are, giving me orders?! I'm telling you right now, I am not paying that bitch a dime! What the hell are you gonna do about it, huh?!"

He stood up, pointing a shaking, aggressive finger at Robert's back. "If you want to beg for her salary, you better show the proper fucking attitude! Who do you think you're commanding?!"

Robert paused. The heavy combat boots stopped moving. Slowly, he turned his head back, his eyes narrowing into dangerous slits. "You just said... you refuse to pay Lily's salary?"

John sneered, fully leaning into his perceived dominance. "That's exactly right. But tell you what—if you drop to your knees right now, kowtow to me twice, and call me Grandpa, I might actually reconsider handing over her cash."

"So, what you are telling me," Robert's voice dropped another octave, saturated with an icy, creeping displeasure, "is that you actively want your company to go bankrupt?"

"HAHAHAHA!"

The entire VIP room erupted. The men threw their heads back, howling with derisive, uncontrollable laughter. Their eyes were filled with absolute, unadulterated contempt for the man standing by the door.

To them, Robert's threat was the ultimate joke. It was entirely illogical. If this guy actually possessed the terrifying, god-like authority to instantly bankrupt a media company on a whim, why the hell would he personally show up at a restaurant to aggressively collect a measly three-thousand-dollar paycheck? They had seen arrogant men before, but this level of delusional grandiosity was entirely new to them.

John laughed so hard he nearly choked on his own spit. Wiping a tear of amusement from his eye, he swaggered confidently over to Robert. He aggressively clapped his heavy hand down onto Robert's broad shoulder.

"Brother, I gotta hand it to you, this is a terrible way to show off," John mocked, a vicious sneer on his face. "You're going to bankrupt my company? Please, enlighten me. What kind of powerful entity are you supposed to be?"

A flash of profound, visceral disgust flickered in Robert's eyes. He didn't strike the man. Instead, he simply reached up and brushed his trench coat, deliberately wiping away the spot where John's greasy hand had just touched him, as if wiping away a disease.

Without a word, Robert pulled out a sleek, encrypted cell phone and dialed a single number.

Exactly three minutes later, the atmosphere in the room violently shifted.

John’s cell phone buzzed aggressively on the table. He glanced at the screen and immediately sobered up. It was Mr. Purnell, one of Radiant Media’s most lucrative, long-term corporate clients.

"Hello, Mr. Purnell!" John answered, his voice instantly dropping its arrogant edge, replaced by a sycophantic customer-service tone.

"John," a panicked, frantic voice barked through the speaker. "Effective immediately, all of our collaborative contracts are officially terminated. Do not call me again. Do not ever step foot near my company's headquarters ever again!"

"Wait, wait! Mr. Purnell, why?! What happened—"

Beep. Beep. Beep.

The line went dead. Mr. Purnell had hung up with terrifying speed, acting exactly like a man desperately trying to avoid being implicated in a radioactive disaster.

John stood completely frozen. Mr. Purnell was a colossal anchor for Radiant Media; that single client accounted for a staggering forty percent of the company's annual profit.

Slowly, mechanically, John lifted his head and stared at Robert, who remained standing by the door, entirely unbothered. A single, cold drop of sweat broke out on John's forehead, sliding slowly down his temple.

Before his brain could even begin to process the catastrophic loss, the phone on the table screamed again.

It was Mr. Gomez, his second biggest whale.

John snatched the phone, his hands trembling violently. "H-hello? Mr. Gomez? Please don't tell me you are terminating our contract too?"

"I WILL FUCKING MURDER YOU!"

Gomez didn't just speak; he unleashed a torrent of absolute, unhinged venom directly into the receiver. "I tried to protect you! When the order came down, I tried to refuse! And do you know what happened?! My entire corporate infrastructure is being violently audited! Every single hidden file, every instance of tax evasion—all of it was instantly uncovered and dragged into the light! They even found out about my mistress and sent the files to my wife! She's divorcing me! Who the fuck did you cross, John?! I swear to God, if my company gets liquidated over this, I will hire someone to put a bullet in your head!"

The violent tirade echoed through the dead-silent VIP room before the call abruptly ended.

But the nightmare had only just begun.

Over the next ninety seconds, the phone rang incessantly. A relentless barrage of calls flooded in. Every single minor client, every steady account, forcefully and aggressively terminated their contracts without negotiation. Even prospective clients who were only in the preliminary stages of negotiation called simply to formally reject any future association with Radiant Media.

In the span of a few agonizing minutes, John Campbell was systematically stripped of absolutely everything. His empire was violently dismantled, reduced to ash.

"Holy shit, whose big Mercedes is parked out front?!" a waiter suddenly screamed from the hallway, his voice echoing into the silent VIP room. "A massive transport truck just ran straight over it! It's completely crushed into a metal pancake! The driver already fled the scene!"

John didn't move. He knew with absolute certainty that it was his luxury car that had just been pulverized. But he couldn't bring himself to run outside. His legs completely gave out. He collapsed heavily into his chair, his face drained of all color, looking like a corpse. Total, suffocating panic gripped his throat.

The cronies around the table were paralyzed with terror. They had sat there and watched in real-time as John took phone call after phone call, watching an entire corporation get systematically eradicated from the market. The sheer, concentrated power required to execute a synchronized strike like that was beyond their comprehension.

Slowly, every single pair of terrified eyes in the room gravitated back to the towering man in the black coat.

You mean, you want your company to go bankrupt?

When Robert had said it minutes ago, they had mocked him as a delusional fool. Now, the reality of the situation crushed them like physical gravity. With a single, brief phone call, Radiant Media was completely blacklisted, severed from all revenue streams. Bankruptcy wasn't a threat; it was now an unavoidable certainty.

John Campbell might not have run a global conglomerate, but his clients were heavy hitters, legitimate corporations with deep ties. To have an invisible hand reach out and simultaneously sever all those connections with a single word...

The background power this man wielded was downright terrifying.

"Brother... please... don't do this," John whimpered. His former arrogance was entirely annihilated. His hands shook violently as he desperately dug into his designer wallet, pulling out a stack of crisp bills. He scrambled forward and offered it up with trembling hands. "I'll pay the salary! Please! Here is Lily's pay. It's three thousand dollars. Just take it!"

Robert looked down at the trembling man with eyes devoid of any warmth. He didn't reach for the money.

"Give it to her yourself. Tomorrow morning," Robert commanded, his voice echoing with absolute authority.

He turned and strode out of the VIP room, his heavy boots echoing down the hallway until he vanished from their sight completely.

Thud.

John Campbell fell back, collapsing onto his chair as if he had just survived a massive heart attack. His face was a ghastly, sickly white. He let out a pathetic, broken laugh, looking around at his utterly shell-shocked friends.

"We're dead," John whispered, his voice trembling with residual terror. "I just provoked an absolute apex predator. With a monster like that standing behind Lily Lohan... we need to keep our heads down and pray we survive."

The effort of suppressing it all afternoon had taken more out of her than she realized."Sweetheart, what happened?"Brit Lohan had just stepped out of the kitchen, still drying her hands on a dish towel, when she caught sight of her daughter standing in the doorway with her head down. She didn't finish drying her hands. She crossed the room in quick, worried strides and reached for her daughter before Lily had a chance to say a word. The sound of quiet sobbing carried through the apartment, and Austin Lohan wheled himself in from the balcony. Robert was deliberately targeting her, and he wasn't even trying to hide it anymore. The thought of continuing to work under him filled her with exhaustion. If she stayed at Northgate Group, she couldn't shake the feeling that sooner or later, Robert would push her to the point of a complete breakdown. She had endured enough pressure already, and she no longer saw any reason to keep forcing herself to stay in a place where she felt constantly harassed and undermined. If leaving was the only way to put an end to all of this, then so be it.She would resign. She would walk away from Northgate Group and never have to endure Robert Depp's torment again.A bitter sm

His expression remained calm and unreadable, his tone so flat that it barely carried any emotion."I've thought this through," he said, each word measured and deliberate. "You're not suitable to continue leading this project right now."The bluntness of his answer left little room for argument. Robert didn't raise his voice or offer any further explanation. He simply held her gaze, making it clear that this wasn't a decision he'd made on impulse. He went on without missing a beat. "You know Sunrise Senior Living, right? Something about Nicholas's expression suggested that whatever had brought him here was more serious than an ordinary business matter.Nicholas Hoult didn't waste time with pleasantries. He stepped closer and got straight to the point."We're the first company to successfully acquire a land parcel. Now Mooncrest Group has rallied a coalition of cosmetics manufacturers, and they're demanding that we pull out of the remaining acquisitions. They want us to stop competing for the other three parcels."His voice carried a trace of concern. The situation had clearly escalated beyond a simple bidding competition. What had started as individual companies competing for valuable land had now turned into a coordinated effort to pressure Northgate Group into backing down.A faint smir

"What relationship?" Raymond Lohan and Austin Lohan asked in unison, their voices sharp with curiosity. Neither of them had expected Mr. Gold to have any connection to Robert Depp, let alone one strong enough to make him personally intervene.Garrett Lohan's expression darkened. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, clearly reluctant to bring up what had happened years ago. After a brief pause, he finally spoke in a low voice."Years ago, Mr. Gold fell seriously ill. He was on death's door, and the doctors he'd seen were powerless to help him. It was Robert Depp's mother who treated him at her clinic and ultimately saved his life."Raymond and Austin exchanged a stunned glance, listening intently as Garrett continued."That debt is the reason he's helping Robert now. Mr. Gold hasn't forgotten who saved his life, and this is simply his way of repaying that debt.""What clinic? I've never heard of this," Raymond said, his brow furrowing deeply."Depp Clin
