Chapter 20- A new Job, 2 New Titles, and a Rare Monster Drop

After deciding the monster that I would be fighting, I focused on creating the strongest Magic we were taught “Fire Tornado”. It was a 3rd rank Spell but with the help of the Pure Magic Affinity I have, its strength was increased to a 4th Rank Spell which I call “Pure Fire Tornado”.

By the way, the ranks signify the level of the stats. An example of this means to use a Rank 1 spell a person should have 100 Mana and 100 Int while to use a Rank 3 Spell-like Fire Tornado a person should have 300  Mana and 300 Int but my spell had the power of a Rank 4 spell while it required the stats needed for a Rank 3 Spell. Since I had 7000 Mana and Int, I should theoretically be able to use Rank 70 Magic but according to the NPC Richard’s Memory, the highest Rank spell is 10.

This Rank 10 Spell is a one of kind Magic that was developed by a Sage( who didn’t have the Sage job but was called a Sage due to his strength and knowledge ) and had gathered dust in the treasury of some country since nobody could use it due to insufficient Stats. According to legends, the spell had the power to destroy a country which resulted in the country being feared due to the Sage they had possessed then but after the Death of Their Sage, they were no longer feared. Some countries even waged war to get the technique their Sage possessed. This resulted in the country’s Territories diminishing till they managed to sign a war treaty with all the countries that the person who could use the technique could have it as long as that person and the country he was associated with did not harm the country directly or indirectly.

If I could go there I could be able to use it but it was just too far. While I was thinking about the Rank 10 Magic, I had successfully conjured up my “Pure Fire Tornado.” I then pushed it to the level 45 Bear that was going to be my victim. This 4 rank Spell had been amplified to 70xs its original power, to the extent that you could say it was now a Rank 280 Spell. The poor Bear was burned to its death without knowing the reason for its death due to the powerful spell while dropping Bear’s Hide x10 and Bear’s Meat x10.

…..

I received the notification of several level-ups from Rachel. After the continuous leveling-up notifications, I received a different notification.

[Congratulations for defeating a monster more than 10 levels higher without being damaged]

[The GATE’s Kronos hereby bestows you the job of Primordial Hero and the two titles The Hero and The Primordial Hero for your grand achievement]

[Detected that Player has already acquired a job, Keeping job Primordial Hero as standby. Players can replace the current job with Primordial Hero or set it as Sub-Job but the effects would not apply. It is recommended to put jobs such as Alchemist, Blacksmith, Enchanter, tailor, etc as Sub-Jobs]

Now what should I do, I cannot delete the Precious Sage job and there is no use to put it as a Sub-Job. Kronos what would you recommend me to do?

[Host can use Kronos function “Change Jobs” to exchange inactive job to active job without deleting the Sage job or use Kronos function “Create Extra Job Slot” to put the Primordial Hero job as another Main Job]

Kronos is just too much of a bug. A player can only have 1 main job in every 100 levels and just reaching level 100 is quite hard. Even the fastest leveling player was only able to reach it in around 1 year. Kronos, use the function “Create Extra Job Slot” and assign the Primordial Hero job to it.

[The Task is done, Host]

That was very fast, even Rachel would not have been able to do such a task so fast. I wonder what the origin of Kronos is; after all it could not have just popped out of somewhere right? Since I could instant kill a monster near the inner region, I should head to the inner region where the monsters’ minimum levels are 60 but I should put the loot in the inventory first. After putting the dropped loot in the inventory, I headed towards the inner region in full throttle.

A few minutes later

The monsters here radiate a sinister aura compared to the previous monster near the inner region. For some reason I can sense the monster’s aura much better than I could in the past.

[That is due to my influence acting on your body’s senses. It strengthens all 6 senses of your body.]

What does Kronos mean by 6 senses? Does it mean the 6th sense that some people develop? The only thing I got was silence. So I continued till I found a Gryphon- a combination of lion and eagle, it was level 70 the perfect chance to test my strength against a monster that can fly. I just hope that I do not burn it like that bear.

I started conjuring up “Fire Tornado” while using normal Fire Affinity to reduce the strength of the magic but it would still have the strength of a Rank 210 Magic. I then pushed it to the Gryphon and as I had expected it instantly burned to ashes dropping Gryphon’s Meat x10, Gryphon’s Feathers x15, and Gryphon’s Wings(Rare).

I was once again flooded with level-up notifications but I noticed that this was the 1st time a monster had dropped a Rare drop, so I used analysis on the dropped item while putting the rest in the inventory.

Name: Gryphon’s Wings

Rarity: Rare

Description: Once equipped it allows the player to fly

Although the description was quite short, I noticed just how powerful this item is and there was not a maximum time usage or level requirement like most other items. I better equip this item fast.
