Tracy froze for a moment, then her cheeks flushed as she shot Luca a coy complaint.

“Ugh, you're so bad... I’m pregnant, you know!”

“It’s fine,” Luca breathed heavily, “I’ll strike from behind and be gentle.”

Status and wealth dictated everything—and Tracy never dared refuse Luca.

Though embarrassment flickered across her face, she still did as she was told, bracing herself at the foot of Adam’s bed, her hips lifting up higher.

Luca’s gaze darkened with satisfaction as he stepped closer.

And then with a flip, he pulled up Tracy’s skirt, and torn down her pant.

And then ... the two made no effort to hide it, carrying on brazenly, right there in front of Adam.

Luca even ordered Tracy to turn her head.

So that Adam could see her face clearly, the conflicted blush, the surrender, the irresistible pleasure written in every subtle expression she could no longer control.

“You—!”

Adam ground his teeth so hard that blood spurted from his mouth.

The obscene scene before him made his eyes burn red, hatred and rage clashing.

“You’ll pay for this!”

The rage and humiliation felt like they would tear his chest apart.

“Don’t worry... we’ll live well, ah~~”

Tracy panted, letting out moans of pleasure she couldn’t resist.

“But as for you, ah~~ when you die, your life insurance, the car accident compensation, and this place—they’ll all be mine, ah~~~”

Adam’s face twisted in rage, veins bulging.

“In your dreams! The court will never hand anything to a slut like you!”

He wanted to lunge, to smash Tracy’s face, but his body betrayed him.

At his words, Luca let out a mocking laugh.

He didn’t slow down at all as he sneered, “Tracy told me you still have elderly parents in Cleveland, and a younger sister stuck in some boarding school, right? You don’t seriously think the court would let them inherit anything of yours, do you?

“Wake up. That’s never gonna happen.”

His smile turned cruel.

“I’ll have those two old wretches and your sister brought here. They’ll work for my family for the rest of their lives. Scrubbing floors. Bowing their heads. Living like slaves and dogs.”

“And when I finally get bored...”

Luca paused deliberately, his eyes darkening, “I’ll toss them into the slums. Places like that swallow people whole.”

Then, with narrowing eyes, his smirk deepened, “As for your poor little sister...”

“Who knows what kind of hell she’d be dragged into?”

“Y-you bastard!” Adam roared, his voice cracking with fury.

At the thought of his parents and sister suffering such a fate, Adam felt his heart shatter.

“You’d even go after the elderly and a child? Are you still human? Aren’t you afraid karma will come for you?!” Adam swore desperately.

His heart slammed against his ribs, so hard it felt like it might burst. How he wished he could put a bullet straight through Luca’s head!

Luca merely scoffed.

“Karma?” he said with open contempt.

“That’s just a bedtime story you lowlifes tell yourselves to feel better.”

Straightening slightly, he added with unmistakable pride,

“My family isn’t just one of the eight most powerful houses. We also share a strong bond with the Alessandro family.

He let out a cold snort.

“So don’t talk to me about consequences. Even if I wiped out your entire worthless family, one shot each, who do you think would dare stop me?”

At those words, Adam felt his heart crash violently inside his chest.

The last fragile thread of hope snapped.

Despair and collapse surged over him, threatening to drown him whole.

It was well-known the Alessandro family stood above the eight powerhouses—a transcendent power, a royal branch, a titled aristocracy.

In Vancouver, they practically ruled with an iron fist.

Who in their right mind would dare offend such true power, just over the fate of him and his poor family?

Elijah understood immediately and he signaled for his men to give them their privacy. The men nodded, as soon as they left, Agatha leaned forward. “I found something spicy about Adam Cole." Elijah leaned forward, his hands flat on the table. "Spicy enough to use against him?" Agatha smiled. "Yes. And the best part? We won't be the ones to harm him." Elijah's eyebrows rose. His eyes narrowed. "How?" Agatha gestured for him to come forward. When he did, her voice dropping to a whisper. She spoke close to his ear, her lips barely moving. Olivia stood by the edge, a glass of champagne in her hand, her face tilted toward the sky. Adam stood beside her, his hands in his pockets, his eyes on the horizon. "We did it," Olivia said. Her voice was quiet, almost surprised. "We actually did it." Adam nodded. "You did it." Olivia turned to look at him. "I couldn't have done it without you." "You could have. It just would have taken longer." She laughed, a real laugh, not the polite one she wore to board meetings. She set her glass down on the ledge and hugged him. Adam stood still for a moment, then hugged her back. "Thank you," she whispered. Adam pulled back, looked at her face. Her eyes were wet. "Don't thank me yet. We still have to clean up the mess she left behind." Olivia picked up her glass, took a long sip, and stared out at the city. “When are we starting?” She asked. Adam d

Glass shattered somewhere to his left. He did not flinch. He walked to the gate, pulled it open, and stepped outside. The crowd surged forward. Then stopped. They recognized his face. "Mr. Cole!" a woman shouted. "Where is she? Where are the owners of this company?" Adam raised his hand. The crowd fell silent. "This company had nothing to do with her crimes. The board voted her out this morning. She no longer holds power here." Murmurs rippled through the crowd. A man stepped forward, his face hard, his hands stained with dirt. "Then who pays us? Who gives us back what she stole?" Adam met his eyes. "She will." The crowd stirred, voices rose. Adam raised his hand again. "I give you my words, I will make sure every single one of you gets your rights. Give me one week. One week, an
