“So this brat can ask for help? Who knew” Adam thought to himself as he gave his signature smirk, while staring at the bumpy-headed man, he shook his head before heaving a sigh and spoke up,

“Leave her alone!”

He said to the man with a frown and the man dropped Joan’s arm roughly, that she instantly fell so hard to the ground causing her to hit her head on the tile. The man’s gaze moved slowly from Joan to Adam and he grunted like a hungry lion whose bait just escaped, snarling and snarking,

“And who the hell are you? He demanded with flaring nostrils, baring his browning teeth,

“First you attack my men and stand in their way, preventing them from carrying out my assignments. Now you are in my basement, giving me orders?” He yelled, and swept out his hands, as his veins nearly popped out of his skin, they were straining against his shirt.

Adam simply smirked, and it further got on the man’s nerves.
