Tyron was drinking with his right-hand woman, Layla, the chubby assassin who spoke with Denver in the whispering caves the other night.

She fed him grapes in between sips while both of them sat on top of a heap of corpses of those they killed.

“I never explored those damn caves because of the reptilian freaks,” Tyron said. “They can easily see through our stealth. And they have technologies that boggle our minds. How is that punk Denver staying inside as if it’s nothing? Isn’t he afraid of getting caught by them?”

“I didn’t come across any of those lizard-faces, Boss, but the talk with Denver failed as you predicted,” Layla said.

“Haha,” Tyron laughed a little. “I was secretly hoping that he might accept an alliance. It would have made it possible for us to backstab him at a crucial time, but this is fine, too. We will wait for the right time and then strike.”
